I’d even say that it’d probably be one of my top 3 SW films if they hadn’t done Luke as dirty as they did. Holdo Manoeuvre is cool but it kind of destroys the point of SW space battles. Those are my only criticisms. Otherwise very solid film. And would be regarded as such if it wasn’t in the SW franchise. My personal favourite Disney SW movie is Rogue One. Despite its large roster of main characters it somehow manages to make them all compelling. The cinematography is also superb. You actually feel the threat of the empire. And it manages to balance the darkness of a war story with the themes of hope that makes the basis of SW. TBoBF, I will not defend though. Agreed. Vel is really compelling. She’s a case study of how the Rebels led double lives in the early days.

Igor is definitely an upgrade to 2019. Iron patriot looks great, even without any apparent leg printing. Killian is just lazy.

Unlikely, I know, but wouldn’t it be cool if one of the upcoming Lego movies was a kind of game of thrones struggle between all the in-house Lego themes. And castle would have a massive role to play in it. The dispute is over resources, and who gets all the extra parts.
