It’s elementary my dear Swordy. John L. Ego’s trolling us. Ideas Godzilla: Justice League vs Godzilla is a current DC ongoing. USS Enterprise: there were two GL x Star Trek crossovers. Icons transformers: a crossover was going to release as a DC miniseries with Optimus becoming a GL, but was then cancelled by Dan Didio. Modular Museum: Flash Museum Speed Champions Back to the Future set: obviously green lit to upset Booster Gold fans and all 10 Legion Lost fans. It all makes sense.

Another Day of fun (#198) 13th Iron Battalion and Boba Fett in shambles right now. I hope we get sets to tie in with Jedi 3. Even if it is just a regular Imperial Battlepack. Some recognition of one of the best pieces of canon content would be nice. The 14+ July set still vexes me. Perhaps it’s a large play and display set? A shuttle of sorts in the Milano scale would be peak. I don’t think we’ve had a 14+ set since the days of old MBS.

And so it begins. The Jokerisation of characters is upon us. Which honestly wouldn’t be that bad of a thing and kinda funny if we start getting Jokerised versions of Heros we haven’t had in a while. Jokerised Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern and Flash incoming?

So I was looking at Amazon UK yesterday. I have good news and bad news. The U-Wing and K2S0 are selling very well. About 1000 have been bought on Amazon UK in the last month each. This bodes well for a Tie Avenger (Day #195) What’s concerning is the 327th Battlepack, albeit now discounted, has sold over 2000 copies in the last month. Which does not bode well for less clone sets and battlepack pricing in upcoming years. (Also, Andor loving brits, the U-Wing is now around £35 on Amazon. It’s a great set and I highly recommend buying it.)

I agree. And if they expanded it to comics here is my delusional suggestion:

Don’t worry guys. These dud sets are just to lower our expectations so they can surprise us with a banger 2HY. Which will obviously include a Tie Avenger (Day #193 of having a very specific set of skills that make’s me a nightmare for sane people)

Absolute just provided us with this gem. Nah. They might do a $10 Lobo or Robin bike with Supergirl as a 2nd figure now that price point exists. I will never give up my hope for a GL mech.

Most predictable and boring choice imaginable. Should have been a U-Wing to tie in with both M&G and Rogue One’s 10th anniversary. Here’s the thing though. If Mando is using a new Razer Crest in the movie the N-1 is even less relevant than the Naboo yellows.

The sets look awesome (except how the hulk buster looks like it used the 2022 UCS as reference) Remember where your true loyalties lie. We shall be victorious. It’s obviously Turtle Better DC sets and a X-Men Sentinel

Oh I know. The amount of loot I got from the Chicken Jockeys was insane. All for a good cause (Day #191 of the Tie Avenger tombola) Though now that she has defrosted, I can to resort to the dark forces if needs be. So Marvel gets a Ghostrider Bike with 2 minifigs (one of which is brand new) while we’re getting 1.5 pre existing minifigs in the Mando’s speeder? I hope this is just an outlier. An AT RT or Imperial Speeder with 2 Minifigs would be great.

Happy Halloween. Perhaps if I farm XP from the mobs tonight, I’ll have enough to unlock the Lego Tie Avenger. (Day #190) It honestly saddens me that it looks increasingly like we won’t get Rogue One 10th Anniversary or Zero Company sets next year.

Yay. Ultimate Absolute Collector’s Series Batmobile? Touché. But a inmate can jonkle. Mark my words, Doom will get a mech set before any F4 member. If only to spite Richards!!! The current mech wishlist is: Green Lantern (as many as it takes to get the 4 Corpsmen) Doctor Doom Wonder Woman Steel Onslaught Daredevil GI Robot Batman (Hell Bat) Braniac Black Manta Honourable mentions: Iron Lad (6160), Superior Spider-man, Agent Venom, Blue Beetle, Flash, Crossbones, Baron Zemo, Booster Gold, Sinestro, Atrocitus and Superboy Prime Deadpool unfortunately would just not happen in any way.

Oh. That actually looks like an awesome combination of the Lucrehulk, SSD and Venator. And would have been symbolic of how this is the culmination of all of Palpatine’s efforts by taking design cues from all the factions he had previously used. Even more evidence that TROS was rushed. How do you guys prefer your (Tie) Avengers? New? Uncanny? Dark? Savage? Young? Astonishing? Ultimate? Mighty? Secret? West Coast? Great Lakes? (Day #189)

The Razor Crest is fine. It’s just the M&G Razor Crest as pictured is creatively bankrupt.

2023 saw the War Machine and Venom mechs in January. And the Batman mech in June. So it’s definitely possible. Also, on a more delusional note, Lanterns is estimated to release around mid 2026, and MAWGL could release anytime from 2HY next year to 2027. And then there’s the fact that MoT will possibly feature both Guy and John. Therefore a 2HY mech might fit the sweet-spot between the three upcoming Lantern related releases . Either that or Doctor Doom since he’s the antagonist of the next Avenger’s movie, the movie is releasing late next year, is an armoured character and would be a logical 3rd candidate judging how his predecessor Thanos was in the first mech wave. I don’t really do much Marvel anymore but a Doctor Doom mech vs US Agent or Sentry set would be just so peak. The best case scenario for mechs next year is we get both.

At the rate they’re going with BvS and B&R batmobiles, watch them make the TTG Batmobile. Unfortunately, any chances we had for a Daily Planet mini Modular next year likely went up in flames the moment the Daily Bugle leaked. Though, the lack of a 3rd Marvel mech set in January gives me hope for either a DC or Doctor Doom one later in the year. Perhaps a GL mech? (I will keep being delusional about this until the theme dies)
