  1. Very nice job. I see the farmer that built him won't have any crow problems for a while.
  2. Same here. I like knowing a vague idea of what we're getting, but not complete spoilers. At least for store exclusives like The Zombies, I assume.
  3. Love the purple spill. Maybe I'm a sucker for details, but that's what caught my eye. I assume it's one of the Brickforge elements along with the flasks?
  4. Yeah, I started collecting CMFs with series 5, but I've been scouring eBay for some of the older ones (I managed to get a few series 3 figs like the Tribal Chief) and one of my friends gave me his spare pilot for Christmas. It helps my local Walmart has 4 almost untouched boxes of series 5. I pretty much almost have them all including some duplicates (Mainly the lumberjack, fitness instructor, and mobster), so series 5 is my favorite by default, but the others aren't bad. Probably series 1 might be the blandest, though the zombie is my favorite, even if his accessories are a bit weird.
  5. I chose the Glam Rock Girl (Rocker chick). What can I say, I'm a sucker for the 80s! But in all honesty, it was a tough choice between her, the IT geek, the Black Knight, the hippie, and the Aztec warrior. The others would be good for parts or silly MOCs (Especially the bunnyman.) As for whether or not I'm tired of the CMF, nope, not at all. I like how this series ushers in new pieces and gives a bit of a sneak preview of certain themes, intentional or not. Take for example the ray gun, which is now pretty common thanks to the Alien Conquest sets and even made an appearance in some Spongebob and Ninjago sets (Heroic Heroes and the Rattlecopter) while other pieces like the Highlander sword is going to be used in Monster Fighters as Dracula's weapon and across the board in the Lord of the Rings sets. Even the S5 small clown's pie is in the Friends bakery set. As for predicting new themes, the highway cop from S2 resembles the current crop of cops and the monsters resemble the Monster Fighter baddies (Save for Wolfman). Lego will keep making them and I'll keep buying them, at least the ones I need/can find a use for. It's amazing how many of these guys Lego can come up with, many following certain themes (The aliens and galaxy guys/girls fit space, the Highlander, black knight, elf, and forestman all fit the castle theme, the popstar, punk rocker, rapper, and now the glam rock chick all fit the music scene, etc)
  6. I saw it at my local TRU and I wanted to pick it up but it was a bit pricy. Maybe on Lego's site I'll pick it up.
  7. I like it. Try using Olivia's hairpiece, it's pretty wild.
  8. I'd like to mention my feeling accuracy has gotten up, as I found an alien last time I went to Walmart, as well as another series 5 gangster and a small clown. (They still had 4 almost untouched boxes of series 5 figs and virtually no series 6 left except the alien)
  9. Me too. That's why I am excited about this series, every set, even the smallest one, has something unique and interesting about it, be it a new or uncommon piece or glow in the dark elements or interesting play features, as well as amazing minifigures.
  10. Ah, thanks for clearing the air. :D I have a feeling these sets are going to leave me in the red. Even the sucky sets have some redeeming factor that makes them a worthy purchase (The GitD skeleton horse is a biggie).
  11. In terms of the ghost ship, I just hope it's better than that lame excuse for a Flying Dutchman Spongebob set. Anything could be better. Wasted potential. Anyway, enough trashing on Spongebob, I'm pretty sure this ghost ship will rock. As for the mummy set, the main reason I'll probably pick up a couple is to make a chariot for my Amset-Rah minifig. Plus you can't have enough skeletal horses.
  12. Agreed. Normally I do apply stickers to the sets (They look plain without them a lot of the time) but for the hearse, I might keep it off this time along with you. Though the rest of the set does look pretty awesome (Especially the bone engine you mentioned).
  13. I actually prefer the pop star hair on my Highlander too. The other one's good, but this one works a bit better. You can never have too many of those guys (Especially the swords, and they're being reused in Monster Fighters and LOTR! )
  14. Well, maybe this is a theme destined to be a one-shot, unfortunately. I just realized something. I remember when I was a lurker there was a thread about having a halloween/horror theme along these lines. Coincidence?
  15. I really hope this gets at least another wave. I doubt it, but stranger things have happened. Look at Atlantis, they had sort of the same thing with collecting treasure keys (Or in this case, moon stones) and they had a second wave. Here, like another poster mentioned, we have several other classic monsters (I'd personally love an Invisible Man or Hyde/Jekyll)
  16. Yeah I forgot to mention the harpoons making a welcome return. I guess it makes the female character a bit more of a quirky character.
  17. Well, taking a closer look at the sets from the Toyfair videos the Brick Show guys took (If anyone involved with the show is reading this, thanks a bunch!), I've weeded out which ones I want and which ones I'll pick up on clearance: Swamp monster-It's the cheapest, of course I'll buy it. Mummy carriage-Nope, the only things I like in it are the glow in the dark skeleton horse and hero. Wolfman-Reminds me of a bigger version of the Ninja Ambush set from Ninjago, but at a larger scale. Maybe on clearance. Hearse-You bet. I love the new coffin lid piece and the minifigs rock. Frankenstein-Clearance. the vehicle leaves a lot to be desired, but I feel this'd work better as part of the Vampire Castle. Ghost Train-Must have. I love the plane design with the Ghostbusters-inspired plane and the new ghosts. Vampire Castle-This was my must have with the prelims, it still is a must now, facade or not.
  18. Agreed. I love the new hairpiece and teddy bear, not to mention all the printing on his arms and legs. The Highlander's my favorite so far, though that might change once I get the others.
  19. I love these new ghosts personally. The old ones had a bit of a goofy look while these new ones are pretty creepy, just the way I like them. Their set is a definite must have for me ,along with the castle. Hell, this whole line looks pretty good. Even if the set is bad, the figures make up for it and these moonstone pieces by themselves look pretty nice.
  20. Easy, I don't have any. The only undead minifigs I have are skeletons.
  21. Sweet. I still need to set up my profile and such.

  22. Sweet, another brony on Eurpbricks! I'm a bit new, as you can see.

  23. I have a feeling the Zombies will probably be a TRU/Lego shop exclusive, kind of like the Ocean Interceptor set from Dino.
  24. I hope that's not the case. I'd love a zombie set. Still, it's not a deal breaker. That castle is mine.
  25. This was a set so nice, I had to pick it up twice. The plane makes the set IMO, plus it never hurts to have an army of flying mummies, right? Only thing I would say sucks about the set is the placement of the guns and the abundance of stickers, not to mention the price-per-piece ratio's a bit off (Unless you got it on sale), but outside of that, amazing set.
