L7 DRagons Keep; Ragnir's Accommodation Excellent, I am glad. I am not sure how long I will be gone, that will depend on the circumstances. But do not let me hold you up, I will have someone show you too the kitchens where you can eat till your full. Dragonator stood, and showed Adym to the door, where he sent him off with a servant to go find the kitchens. Turning back to Ragnir, Dragonator stood for a moment, thinking. This guy seems like he will be able to complete the task. Keep an eye on him, make sure nothing untoward happens. I will do my best. But remember, your King will not let me inside the castle itself. And you know how much I hate that. Sometimes I wonder if we will ever manage to achieve our goals here. We just need to have patience. You should go prepare for your journey. Yes I shall. I will talk with you once I am on the road. With that, Dragonator left to prepare for his journey in the morning. Meanwhile... K18/19 Crown Kingdom's Castle; Throne Room Mike had finally made it to the Crown Knights Capitol. Standing before the king, he again delivered his message asking him to attend the the important meeting. The King leaned forward. As you may know, my kingdom is at war. This Alliance could be our last hope. I cannot be there as I must stay with my people, however I will send another in my place to settle the agreement. But as yet I do not know who to send, I do have a fast coach ready to go however... At that moment, Mike heard a terrible squawking from outside the throne room door's...

That would be great if you could do the one for your faction! When my messanger came to visit I kept having to call your king "the King" as I didn't know his name. Thanks for the help. No, we are not just focusing on the Royal family, Shadows and I were just discussing this particular part of society at the time. NPC's from other class levels should still be posted. Another thought, you could always make an extensive list of every peasant in your capital... -ater.

This is very well done, I like all the action and the road looks great! The best part is of course the statue I like the fire. A very nice MOC, keep them coming!

This one is great! I hope to see more of these style ones this month!

You have a very good point. The crown kingdom I am led to understand has a very extensive Royal Family. I'm sure we would all be happy if you were to name some of them, so to speak. I have been attempting to post some of the NPC characters seen around the Dragon Masters Kingdom, I shall make an effort over the next couple of days to give you all pictures and information for the rest of them. I would suggest putting together one or two extensive posts in the characters thread, thus explaining who everyone is.

L7 Dragons Keep; Ragnir's Accommodation Dragonator nodded his head. Yes, that I can all have arranged. It is the least I can do for what you are to do for me. I will have chambers made up for you in the castle, and their is amble space in the stables to store your cart. As I have said, I will be going away tomorrow morning if all goes well, so I shall have to leave you here to plan your work, unless you wish to accompany me? I warn you now that the journey I am taking could be dangerous, but then again, it is dangerous for some in this keep at the moment as well. I am not liked by everyone. If you choose to stay here and continue your planning, then Grim will be able to look after you. If you have any need to talk with me, then come see Ragnir, he will be able to pass any messages on to me, and reply in my place. If there is anything else you require then please do not hesitate to ask.

L7 Dragons Keep; Ragnir's Accommodation Dragonator scrutinized Adym carefully. He speaks the truth, stated Ragnir, sitting back on his hunches. Yes, I think he does too. Adym, I am glad to have someone like you working with me. I have some other plans to attend to, and must travel to Dromindur (M10) for an important meeting. Perhaps you would like to accompany me, and we can discuss this further? However I will give you a basic understanding of my... dream. Dragonator sat down, took a sip from his goblet, and started to talk. I cannot mention anything of my past to you now, but I would like to tell you of my current project. Adym, I want to be able to roam the skies, free, like a dragon. It has always been my dream. I have known what it is like to travel on the back of a dragon, in fact Ragnir and I used to have such fun twisting and soaring- but enough about that. It is not the same as feeling the wind beneath your wings, feeling your muscles contract and move in response to the subtlest of air pressures, is it Ragnir? Ragnir nodded his head sadly. Really, you humans don't know what you are missing. Quite. Adym, I wish to be able to join my friends up in the sky. What I want you to build for me is... Dragonator leaned forward, and whispered into Adym's ear. Sitting back, he said, does that sound like something you could help me do? A frustrated shadow slipped out from beneath the windowsill, and disappeared into the night, displeased at not hearing those last words...

I have a couple of story sections still to put forward, sorry I'm a bit late with them, I have been very busy. I may have time to write one tonight... The Plot thickens... (insert creepy music)

This looks great, I love the camera angles too. Could you perhaps give a normal photo as an overview?

EBRP General Information and Character thread.
Dragonator replied to Khorne's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Please remember this thread is not for discussing things but for posting your characters. Please use the discussion thread to talk about the game. Thanks Now, on to what I really came here to post. I present to you a character you have met before but have not actually had any info on: Name: Grim Age: Late 40's. Faction: Dragon Masters Position: Dragonators' Bodyguard Armament: A black battle axe and a shield with his masters personal crest on it. Looks: Here is a picture; History: Grim was brought up in Dragon's Keep, and as a child dreamed of being in the Air Marshals. He first joined the regular army as soon as he was 18, and was sent to the boarders to repel Scorpion Knight attacks. Here, during a night raid made by the enemy, he received a nasty wound to the chest, damaging one of his lungs. Because of this, he could not fly at high altitudes, and so was rejected from applying to enter the Dragon Marshals. Instead, he continued serving in the army. By the time Dragonator arrived and led the Great War, he was a lieutenant, a good rank for someone born to a lower class family. Grim was fascinated by the newcomer Dragonator, and admired his great devotion to the dragons. He decided that he wanted to serve this new man. Leaving the army, he applied to be in Dragonator's personal bodyguard. He was accepted, as Dragonator had seen his prowess on the battlefield, and started of as a corporal. After three years, he was promoted to Captain, and leader of the bodyguard. He is completely loyal to his master, whom he admires and would give his life for. There is one more character to come soon, I will post him when he appears in the story, just to keep you all guessing... -
I just went and bought myself the 7622 Race for the Stolen Treasure. Yay for Chrome Treasure chests!

Yes, I did eventually decide to get the Hyperdrive thingy. The 6086 is awesome, hopefully it will arrive while your here. In regards to my lair, I have again added another bookshelf to it just today. Hopefully this will give me a little more space. The desks are all set up waiting for a huge number of pieces to appear out of the air to make a town layout... Ah, yes, those boxes are creator mosaics. I got them at a 50% off clearance sale at K-mart in Palmerston North of all places. I haven't opened them yet because I don't have anywhere to sort the bricks into... Glad you liked the interview!

New Brickarms Items Now Available!
Dragonator replied to the enigma that is badger's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Yay, the new stuff is available! Thanks for this! I love the looks of all these new weapons, I just have to get me some! EDIT: I've just been over to your site, something isn't quite right, the text and background etc is all out of allignment... Unless that's just me... -
Could the driver have happened to be hiding the Royal Crest, the one worn by the king who just happens to be likely to depart soonish to an important secret meeting which nobody should talk about because it's secret?
-
You mean you've really met a defense bot?
-
Yes, I agree Exobuilder (notice the absence of the pony joke), he wouldn't have the guts. We may be whacking each other off, but I'm sure we could make an agreement to team up against Batbrick... Whacking Batbrick ON!

Well, I have only just recently started making some MOC's as I used to keep most of my sets made up. *blush* This took up a lot of space, so started sorting them and am now trying to make some nice MOCs. So far, I haven't been keeping them together all that long after I take the photo's, but that's because I don't have enough light/dark bley and so have to keep using re-using it. If I had more parts, I would keep my MOC's together for much longer... *grin*

I hope that's not sarcasm. *tongue* But really, humans have it wrong. Dragons do not attack unprovoked, there is always a reason, they may feel scared, intimidated etc by humans. And hoarding treasure is just part of their nature, like a squirrel hoard nuts. So you're right in what you say, despite all that, we should make an effort to be friendly, and then all the killing and burning could be avoided. *sweet* On another note, I just went ahead and bought myself the 6086 Black Knight's Castle! *wub* It is second hand and doesn't have a box, and there is a stress mark on the corner of the baseplate ( *oh3* ) but I can't wait to get my hands on it! It just looks such a beautiful set! *grin* Older Castle Sets ON!

L7 Dragons Keep; Ragnir's Accommodation Dragonator looked at Ragnir. Just be careful not to give anything away, he whispered. Then, in a louder voice he said, Come in, Adym Wrenchmonger, and take a seat. The man entered the room, and immediately Dragonator could see that he wasn't a threat. He looked like a nice man, and Dragonator found himself liking him already, something very unusual for him. Ragnir craned forward and studied the newcomer, who jumped back suddenly in alarm at this unexpected appearance of a full grown male dragon. He looks like a trustworthy character to me, Ragnir stated. Have no fear of Ragnir. I know that in most of the kingdoms dragons are thought to be violent and beastly characters, but we know this not to be true, don't we Ragnir? Ragnir snorted his agreement. Your an inventor are you? Interested in new technologies and such? I find that there are not enough people like you in this kingdom. Then again, a lot of the people here disappoint me. Dragonator looked sideways at Adym. Perhaps... You could be the man I've been looking for. I have a little project that I've been working on, but before I tell you about it I need you to swear that you will never utter a word of it to another soul, and that you are loyal to my cause. And trust me, I can tell if you are lying....
-
Rushed you! You've had 2 weeks! *grin* And where is the poll? I want to whack you with it...

Here is the long awaited ( *tongue* ) map of the Dragon Masters Kingdom (Version 1). It is not complete as it only shows the four cities so far listed in the story. The cities are marked by the black squares. Dragons Keep is the capitol city, and the red square represents the main keep, with the town surrounding it. I haven't bothered to draw in roads, most paths are unmarked on maps anyway, excepting the main roads. I will do those at another time. *wink* Enjoy! *sweet*

L7 Dragons Keep; outer corridors Grim looked at the new comer with great curiosity. We have been developing some new technology, however it is still being worked on, my lord is the one who has been pushing for some greater economic and technological development. He is very in to... a certain project at the moment. Please understand that I cannot give away secrets to complete strangers. You look like a trustworthy character however, so why don't you go see my master, Lord Dragonator, perhaps he could help you. He is quite busy right now, but he is very enthusiastic about developing some new technology for us. You can find him in the stables, he'll be talking with Ragnir. Don't bother him if he's busy. With that, Grim closed th door behind Adym, and pointed him off in the right direction. Now I must be on my way, he thought. I had better get this over and done with, the king probably wont understand half of what I say anyway. Grim walked up the next flight of stairs and entered the throne room from a side door... Meanwhile in Ragnir's Accomodation Dragonator placed a black stone on one of the many lines of the board. Looks like I win, I have you surrounded. Ragnir snorted. Once again you seem to have bested me. You know, I haven't lost a single game of stones since we last played, that seems like so long ago now. That's because it is a long time ago, Dragonator chuckled. Taking a sip from his goblet, Dragonator looked down at the board, and then up at Ragnir. Enough games though, we need to get down to business. Tomorrow I am to travel to Dromindur, as there is to be a meeting of great importance there. Finally the Old Alliance is to be brought together again, and just in time for us too. Glad will I be when the day comes that we will control this land once again, as is our right. I agree with you on that. What shall I do once you have gone? I ask that you remain here, and watch the king. Make sure that everything continues to run smoothly. These people may not heed you as they should, but that cannot be helped. If anyone requires to talk with me, or if something even slightly suspicious occurs, then contact me immediately. Now that we have seen each other again, I feel our mental bond coming back, so you should be able communicate with me directly. It is a good plan. I see that soon everything shall be as it should. But we must continue to be careful. Yes, you are right. I will leave my bodyguard Grim here, he will listen to you, so if I have any messages he can act on them. Keep him around you, he is trustworthy and loyal to us. I will take Galcor with me, if I am in any real danger then two bodyguards wouldn't be able to do any better than one. I will do as you say. You were always a bright one Dragonator, I am glad that we elected to send you to- wait, someone is approaching. Dragonator stood up and turned around to face the door. I wonder who it might be? Is this a coincidence, he thought to himself...

Yay, build me a wheely thing! *sweet* Destruction ON! *devil* *oh3* Oh please, being interviewed by a man in a dress was bad enough... *tongue* Ok, you got me there. *blush* But you all know that I was perfectly correct in my actions. *wink* I don't think anyone got me into my obsession with dragons. I've just always been obsessed. *grin* Maybe I was a dragon in a past life... *tongue* Thanks for the comments Batbrick, very much appreciated! *sweet*

*laugh* This is amazing! A perfect portrayal of my neighbourhood. *sweet* This is really great, action packed and with some great minifig choices and building techniques. I always look forward to seeing what you come up with next. *wink* The black tentacle monster is beautifully built, and the cat in the tree is pretty ironic amoungst everything else. *grin* It's all the little details in this that I love the most.
-
Why thank you! *blush* I look forward to building some greatdragons, I just need to get a few more pieces first... I am building a robotic dragon. *grin* It's for the RopoCup New Zealand competition later in the year. Just one of my many unfinished projects. *wink* Thanks Sinner, I want to hear the joke too! Then again, some things are best left unsaid... *tongue* *laugh* That is very... fitting... *wink* Thanks to both you and shadows for such a great interview, it was great fun and a real experience (I never knew Staudie could fit a size 9...) The comments from you shadows always make me laugh! *laugh* Good job with the commentary. *thumbup*
