Well, happy news the 3d model is done. In total 1616pcs(excluding pneumatic hoses) :). Now i will start rendering pictures. This will probably take forever. Because my 2016 laptop doesn't have a graphics card. Only I5 integrated graphics card. And the laptop is completely usable. But some things are a bit slow:).

Well, today was a strong start. Now the rear backhoe arm is done for the 3d model. Only thing left to do is the cab and rear outriggers. And then i will start rendering pictures for the instructions, and then i will take pictures of the cable management and hose management. And then finally i will start producing the gen 3 instructions. So hopefully by the early next week i will get everything done:).

I have noticed. That the 90s blue instructions are timeless design(att least for my eye's). And my instructions looks still modern while using 90s style design:). But att least i have now a trademark, where you can easily identify my moc. Since i have brought back from the ancient ruins the 90s blue instructions cover. And i will stick to this, so i can be different:).

Well, here is the world premier for the new front cover. I did testing for the brand new front cover design on the Miniature Combine Harvester. And oh boy it's soo beautiful. Im really proud of my new front cover. My mocs going foward will use this instead of the previous black style. I thought at the time, that black desing looked good. But im now regretting my choices. Because this is even better:).

Today i builded more the 3d model and studied how rendering works in studio v2. So as with the gen 3 upgrade. Model is build up module style(mostly) and with each module start up there will be a rendering what you are building. Like on lego technic supercars. And since this is my 1 year anniversary model and the true flagship. I will go all in with the instructions design. So the new model will probably have the most premiumest instructions of all free instructions mocs:). And my smaller non flagships will use gen 2.3 instructions which has most of the gen 3 feature set. But some aren't include. But both are easy to follow:). So in short. Gen 3 is used on my flagship mocs. And Gen 2.3 is used in my non flagship smaller models. And gen 2.3 is completely overhauled from the gen 2.1. With a lot tweeking to make the building process more easily to follow:). So stay tuned. And i have now worked really hard for a solution for the pneumatic tube instructions in the new moc. And im really excited to show that model to you. So stay tuned:).

Well, i have to be honest. I should not be this confindend about my skills. Because im still human being. And not a magical creature with instant superpowers. Well i now tryed learning really hard about the pneumatic hoses. But unfortunetly my skills aren't improved for those flex stuff. So i will have to create a workaround. For those pneumatics. But i will promise i will try my best to make pneumatic instructions easy to follow. But again im just a human being and we aren't perfect. So we will do what our skills allows we to do the best:).

42212 Ferrari FXX K

Ok, interesting i noticed one of finnish retailers decided to call this a science toy(tiedelelu). Well maybe that typer had a bad day in the office. But if this is truly called and marketed as an science toy, technic is really doomed:/. -
I decided to little delay the release of the new model until I get the pneumatic hoses made for the 3D model because I'm focusing on quality, not on the fact that instructions and reviews and models come faster when I use picture instructions:). But since i do care for my fan base, the little wait is worth it. If the end product is better:). So stay tuned. I'm really excited to reveal the new model. I have allready scripted its review:).

Well, im still pretty nerveous about those pneumatic hoses. I try my best that they are att least easily followable. But i still have fears they are not easy to follow. And i have had many sleepless nights about this consern. But if you are a craft person. The pneumatic hoses are box standard. And you can find them on 3x 42157 and 3x 42175:).

Well, i tryed to test the pneumatic hoses in the studio v2. And it seems my flex hose skills have improved. But im still not happy. So i will make them photo generated. And i will make a full blown pneumatics operation manual at the first pages. So hopefully you will not make mistakes with the pneumatics. And hopefully the hoses are easy to follow. And i do have a craft work measurement tape(in centimeters) so hopefully that will help with the lenghts:).
