Hi, it cannot be locked. It only works with rotary catchover catches. But lucky for you my newest moc does use the new clutch, to enable the motorized pump. And i did use a friction axle pin with the red gearbox piece. And it does have enough friction to keep the newer clutch in place. Atleast in the electric compressor scenario. But i don't think heavier loads will be possible unfortunately:(. And also, the newer clutch dont have those moving plastic begs inside which enables the locking feature. The newer clutch is completely smooth:/.

Well, amazing that this topic is now 1 year old. I have to say this has been really amazing journey. I have learned so many new things. And my moc building skills have gone thru a roof. Well this in mind. The newest moc can be my 1 year anniversary celebration model. And im really thankfull of your amazing feedback and comment's. I remember when i was a little kid browsing internet on the family computer. And looking around eurobricks and sariel's reviews for technic sets. It's amazing that my passion for building mocs. Isin't anymore a hidden thing. But a public one, thanks for the eurobricks. And it's amazing to be part of this passionate community. While i might be one of the clumsiest moc designer. And set reviewer. I still do my work passionetly. And it's amazing to hear from feedback that you like my models and creations. And with these words i hope you will have a great halloween. And stay tuned for the newest model. I have now decided it's final name, and i have designed a new and improved instructions front cover as part of the gen 3 upgrade. The old black architecture style front cover will be gone, for a more classic design:). So Rest In Peace(RIP) the old black front cover 2025-2025. But i really think you will like the new front cover design. And im really proud for it:).

Well, since im constantly improving and learning new stuff. I have now started learning and studying even harder the studio v2. And as result of this, the new model will have my new gen 3 instructions. Which are completely overhauled from the gen 2.1. And gen 3 will be my most premiumest instructions. And the most time consuming to create. But i do really care about my loyal fan base. So i have now decided to work even harder for the instructions. So they will be almost lego quality. And don't worry, gen 3 instructions are completely free to download. And i won't become greedy and charge anything for my hard work:).

Here are some interesting facts about the new model:). Since i design mostly in 2000-2010 style. The newest model has no frames and has only 23 panels(4 on the front, 2 on chassis, 5 on the sides, 1 on the roof and 6 in back arm:).). Newest model has both pneumatics and linear actuators:). Newest model is my second motorized model:). Newest model is my most complex model so far and with biggest amount of play functions in my model:). Newest model is my biggest pneumatics model. And first to include a motorized compressor for the pneumatics. So no manual pumping to be seen here:). Newest model don't need any stupid app controls. You can interact with the model offline. Without screens:). (Oh man what a luxury to not control model without a screen:).). Newest model is powered via power functions L motor. And i don't think you can easily modify this with the 42215 motor setup. And since you are used to lego's basic functions. (steering, opening doors, hood, frunk and maybe a piston engine.) This model wipes the floor with TEN functions. Which is sadly unheard from lego at this point. So stay tuned:). I'm now working hard with the instructions. And this will have my most complex 3d model in studio. Because of the wacky angles. So this might be a huge pain in the a*s to create;).

Yeah probably by fan backlash and critcism lego decided to brought them back:). -
Well, here is the world premier for the Tracked Backhoe Loader functions:). This works soo well. Im really impressed. Maybe the tracks should had a little bit slower gear ration:). Well, im really impressed how this can be even more faster and powerfull than the 42215. While this uses a decade old power system. And same motor setup as the 42215:). And this my most complex model so far. And mine best model ever with pneumatics:).

All right i will end now for today:). As i said i will work hard. I truly mean it. Now my back and fingers hurt;). And here is timeline of todays work schedule. Hmm, i got a interesting thought. When power functions died the last motor what they used was L motor. And seemingly the control + is in the last legs. And c+ system only remaining motor is also L motor. This is really insteresting coincidence🤔. -
Now i have found a place for the pneumatic switches:). Ps... If technic line is going downhill. Luckily my mocs will not go downhill. I do prioritize functions over the looks. That's why the combine harvester has a hole in the back. So you can peak inside for working linkages:). And i have noticed in my mocs, that i have based the looks and style as in 2010's technic lineup:). Sneak peak. The new moc will be powered via 1 power functions L motor. And luckily it's not painfully slow as 42215. This is pretty fast and really fun to play. And yes, this little beast packs a punch. This is somehow even more powerfull and faster than the 42215. While this uses decade old motor system than the 42215. Its amazing how powerfull power functions motors and electronics are, even 8 years after they disappeared:).

Yes, i agree with the speed champions. My youtube has started to recommending me a bucket load of 100 ways to make speed champions cars or alternatives or something videos:). -
Ok, im now strongly in believe, that the new project has surpaced the road to the failed moc ideas graveyard:). And yes, i don't want any moc to go the graveyard of failed projects. But sometimes they go. But i will now work extra hard to make sure this will not go to the graveyard of failed projects. Because the graveyard of failed projects pileup is getting bigger and bigger;).
