  1. Agh! I want it as a real set! Seriously, that's fantastic. Especially loving the hat and the use of 1.0 feet for boots. I could see this work for a Hero Factory wave. Kalhiki
  2. Nice to see your art again. I really do like it. Toxic Reapa is just creepy! It's so awesome. And I like how you gave Stormer the little square eye thingy like his 2.0 form had. Kalhiki
  3. I miss those buckets. I would love to see a Hero Factory one in the future. Since I don't buy sets for parts (unless they're on clearance), I don't really have many HF parts to play around with. Kalhiki
  4. @Bricknave: There's a topic for TV show discussion in Culture and Multimedia, so that should go there. Anywho, interesting commercial. But I still can't get over how annoying those kids are when they say "NinJAAAAAA-GO!" Kalhiki
  5. I didn't have any problems. Most likely a mold error as these new joints can't break from putting them in and out of the socket. How loose are they exactly? Kalhiki
  6. ... Does this come naturally to you, or do you do a lot of research? Either way, it's cool to see what figures come in which sets. Makes collecting easier. Anyway, I was wondering: Why does the Rattlecopter come with the Constrictai staff and not the Fangpyre (beings as though it's a Fangpyre vehicle and all). Kalhiki
  7. My interpretation of the plan: Von Ness goes rogue and meets up with some other guys (BP, Voltix, and probably others). They formulate the Breakout plan. RotR occurs and he gets himself captured. Voltix later on gets captured, and by some means manages to break VN free and cause the black hole portal thingy aiding the villains in escape (still don't know how Voltix got VN's spirit or whatever). Here's where the bulk of the Breakout episode comes in. They said the villains began to start on their plans immediately after escaping, so I can only assume most, if not all the villains were aware of the Breakout scheme. Their plans are simply to cause a distraction. With the Heroes out and about, it's BP's turn to act. He goes in to mainly hack into the Factory and get the blueprints (which he send to VN). As for the Anti-Quaza deal... That may just have been a side scheme of Black Phantom's. Or it could be another plot to prevent the Heroes and the rest of the Factory from figuring out his true motives (getting the blueprints). Kalhiki
  8. Well, I watched the episode(s) online. Seems as though the hour long special on TV was, in fact, parts one and two (haven't seen the TV airing, but I have it recorded, so I don't know how the episodes were combined). So, thoughts: Voltix is amazing. I thought his voice would be bad (high pitched and stuff), but it was nice and deep. Also had so staticy sounds if I heard correctly which was a nice touch. The other villains were cool, too. The voice acting wasn't all that bad. I really didn't even mind BP's French accent and Speeda's high voice. I think the worst was Reapa's, but that was mainly due to him being hard to understand. In terms of story, there wasn't much. It was action packed since it was a breakout after all, so I guess that's always welcome. The real only story was what was happening at the Factory, and think those segments were my favorite parts. My biggest problem was the dialogue. I think someone said this, but a lot of it seemed really forced. Especially heard right after the Breakout with Evo's "Oh no!" But, overall, good episode(s) (still don't know if I should consider it one or two episodes). Kalhiki
  9. Yes! Finally! Gotta check the TV and make sure it'll be recording. Probably will have to wait off until tomorrow to watch it what with it being Easter today. Kalhiki
  10. With them being revealed like that, it gives me hopes that they'll have an earlier release. Don't know if summer sets have appeared in instruction booklets at earlier times in the past before, though. Anyway, all the pictures look fantastic. Voltix will probably be one of my first purchases. Core Hunter and Stringer look nice too. Still not really interested in Bulk, though. Shame since Bulk is one of my favorite Heroes... But Nex is a medic, and I'm a sucker for medic characters. Kalhiki
  11. Wow. Some of the pics at the beginning of the vid. Never realized how far ahead Bionicle was mapped. Anyway, cool vid all together. Love the concept art and Bionicle is no exception. Kalhiki
  12. When did the SP sets come out? I remember it being later in the summer. I hope it's not the same this time around. I want to get my hands on these figures. Kalhiki
  13. I highly doubt he'll have a 'cobra hood' or anything else that restricts movement. I have no evidence, but it just seems like it would be a bad move on Lego's par to put one. Hopefully the show is something to go by in which case he won't. Kalhiki
  14. Ah, good. The Ninjago topic was getting too cluttered for me to even make sense of it. So, so far there has been no sign of the Epic Dragon in the show. Is it not going to make an appearance, or have they just been keeping it a secret? Honestly, I wouldn't mind either way. While a monster battle between a giant snake and a dragon would be cool, a classic "David and Goliath" (this time Ninjas and Snake) would also be welcome. Kalhiki
  15. Yeah, but what would the exclusive be? I guess it could be the Ouroboros Bus. (I want that thing so bad). Kalhiki
  16. I'm more excited for the sets than the show. If I knew when the show was going to air, it may be different. But, honestly, the sets look fantastic. Voltix is easily my favorite out of the villains. As for Heroes, I'm not sure. Stringer's good, but Nex keeps growing on me. After all, I'm a sucker for medic characters. And orange is my favorite color. Still working on my buying plan. Not sure who I'll get first, and what order I'll get them in. I like to get figures one-by-one as it gives me reletively equal time to play with each of the figures and see how I like them. As for the TV show, I can wait. I know people say it's the best one, but the HF TV series as a whole just seems... eh. Too kiddy (plus, after seeing Ninjago, HF's show cripples in comparison). Besides, I like making my own stories for Hero Factory. Not saying I don't enjoy watching the characters in action, I'm just saying, it can be improved. Kalhiki
  17. Wow. That trailer got me really excited for the upcoming episodes. The Devourer is going to be epic. Trailer spoilers: Also, on the subject of what element Lloyd would be (we know he's the Green Ninja). If he were to possess all four elements, would that mean he also single-handedly possess the Tornado of Creation? Kalhiki
  18. Lloyd's mother is an ABS plastic injection molding machine. ... Anyway, I read the blog. Poor Lloyd. I gotta feel sorry for the guy. All he wants to do is be like his dad, but he gets picked on. Lloyd is, like, my all time favorite Ninjago character (at least for the good guys). Kalhiki
  19. Best episode ever! (Ep 9 spoilers ahead) Not much else to say. All in all a great episode. Kalhiki
  20. Could care less about the book, but that pic of Stormer XL! So much want. Still hoping the set's not too top heavy. Want to get rid of those friction joints to shorten him up a bit. Kalhiki
  21. The whole Nebula and Voltix deal... I smell fan fiction coming on. Kalhiki
  22. I would like to try my hand at building the Ouroboros Bus. Y'know, because who wouldn't want bus that looks like a snake. Kalhiki
