My main fear is that those armor pieces will be moving a lot. I like keeping my sets looking symmetrical when I can, so positioning those armor pieces so they're equal will be difficult. Oh well, Reapa's amazing looking anyway, so I'm sure I'll be happy. Kalhiki

Despite orange being his Hero Core color. :P Love the MoC, and makes me want an official toy. I also like how you gave him a jetpack like he had in the Bulk and Vapour set. Kalhiki

Aw, that's a bummer. Oh well, I don't take apart my sets anyway, so it shouldn't be a problem. So will it be like Jetbug, where later shipments have the new sockets? Or will we have to wait until next wave to get them? Kalhiki

What exactly is Rocka fighting on the cover? I can't even tell what it's supposed to be. Yeah, the first page was terrible. Haven't gotten the magazine yet, so I haven't read it, but I don't have high hopes. Kalhiki

I don't really care if he does or doesn't. But, it'd be nice if he did for consistency reasons. Everyone else has a first name, so why not Rocka? Besides, I really want to refer to him as Danny. Kalhiki

Wait, you drew these? I saw them on Deviantart and keep checking back for more pics. Big fan of your art and it has even inspired some aspects of my own designs. Loving the interpretations of the Breakout villains. And Tuma's wicked. But, who's the big guy standing next to who I think is Tahu (third pic)? Great job, man! Kalhiki

Hm. That's weird. Need more confirmation, though. But, I'll use the name just for the sake of giving him a first name. Daniel Rocka I suppose works. Kalhiki

My guess is that they'll probably tie in HRT into the game like they did with the OOF and SP games. Make a Hero, then play as him. But then that doesn't really explain what the Codes would be for if you need them to play. Kinda defeats the purpose if you don't have to buy a Hero to play. Kalhiki

I don't remember reading anything about a plague. Was that about his scepter with a sword and a scourge? Because scourge can also refer to something that deals out punishment. Kalhiki

Cool stuff right there with the game. It looks like 3D graphics which are splendid. It also appears that they're re-using the health bar design from CC (but since I'm sure these are early pictures, things can change). And if that's Stormer, it makes you wonder who all we'll be able to play as in the game. Kalhiki

If they were merged villains, the Savage Planet animals wouldn't be included. They were enslaved, so have no reason to be imprisoned. And I agree, no merging old villains. New villains are better. Speaking of merging, do you think we'll get combiner models for the Heroes? I'd like to see what combinations they could make with all the new parts. Kalhiki

Yay! New Shadow Matoran feet. Still hoping it's not a Jetbug situation, though. I'm happy, but I don't want to get my hopes up. Then again, since Reapa's a small set, if earlier shipments have the old feet, I could buy another one once they make the transition to the new feet. Then I'd get all those lovely parts to MoC with. Glad to see they don't have defined abs. Looks more like armor now. I just felt the abs looked out of place. Can't stop looking at the eye-searing high res pics! Kalhiki

Don't know about Thornraxx, but something tells me Reapa's going to use that extra limb piece from Waspix to connect the chest armor (and possible the head). He obviously uses a Hero skeleton torso, so the limb piece could connect to that, and the size 3 shells connect to the ball joints on it. If that piece is used, his head would also probably attach to it as well using the joint on the center of that piece. Not sure how the lower size 3 shell would connect, though. Kalhiki

Speaking of Jawblade, can anyone tell what size armor that is on his back (the trans-orange piece)? It looks a little bigger than a size 5 (the size we've had before on other trans-orange shells). Kalhiki

Still not all that interested in these sets, but I must say, the parts are GLORIOUS! For instance, Joker uses a dual colored lightning piece for his tie. And all the purple pieces he has is great. Yeah, if I get any, it'll be for parts. Kalhiki

Black Phantom looks better now. And I love that they got rid of those awful arm supports from the regular Fire Lord build. Though, I'd like it if he had the Hero under armor pieces for leg armor like Rocka XL (I'm a sucker for big ankle guards). Otherwise, everything in this wave looks good. My only hope is that they fixed the Glatorian head sockets. As for other things, I noticed some interesting aspects of the backgrounds. It appears this line has everything: underwater, jungle, and even space. Kalhiki

LEGO Collectable Minifgures Series 7 Discussion
Kalhiki replied to whung's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Space Marine is so. Much. WANT! Him and the Aztec Warrior. Easily the two coolest figures in the line. Bunny Suit guy and Scottish guy are also pretty cool. EDIT: Didn't notice at first, but the Black Knight is also a must have for me. Kalhiki -
I can't help but laugh that they actually re-made Droid Escape. Oh well, I loved the original, so no complaints seeing a new one. Besides, it's nice to see a re-make of an obscure set rather than yet another AT-AT or the like. I don't really buy SW sets anymore, so I probably won't be getting any of these. I'll have to see them out of the box and read/watch reviews. Kalhiki

Woah. What? How would he be able to split? I took another look at the picture, and there's no possible way he could split in half, so that's out of the question. Since his name is Splitface I assume that only his head would split. Which is possible. There's a definite line dividing the two halves. My question is: what kind of head would he have if that's just a helmet? ... Unless his head is one whole piece, no helmet.... Kalhiki

Y'know, if Black Phantom truly is a past villain coming back, VN is the best choice. We just had Doc, and Fire Lord (according to the TV show) is in rehab. So, bets should be on Von Nebula being Phantom (if Phantom is a past villain, that it). But if he were Nebula, I would have liked some similarities between the two. Here's an idea, what if the Breakout storyline goes on for a few waves? That way, we can have a mix of old and new villains. As for Heroes, seperate teams can be made with some of the older characters and include a few new ones. Kalhiki

I was just thinking of some generic beast and rider combo, and Turaga Duma and Nivawk was the first thing that came to mind. But yeah, Lihkan and Kikanalo would probably be a better comparison. Kalhiki
-
I'd love to see vehicles return. But with the new building system, it'd be near impossible to make a vehicle without the use of technic parts. However, they could do something like Turaga Dume and Nivawk. A beast and rider type deal, but that still isn't a vehicle, is it. Kalhiki

Woah, woah, woah. Hold on! Look at all the transparent pieces on Joker's Gun (not sure if this has been brought up already. Haven't read the posts). And, I can't tell, but it also looks like he may have a transparent "engine" cladding piece (sorry for my ignorance of part names) on his gun. So far, Joker and Iron Man are the only ones who I'm considering getting (and even still, it'd be for parts). Iron Man for that lovely gold and the gattling gun with the hose, and Joker for the purple and now that I see it, transparent parts. Kalhiki

Isn't B&N usually overpriced? I expect these prices to be cut down a bit. But if not, it's a shame that the Raptor set is 30 bucks. I hardly buy 30 dollar sets (20-25 is the most I usually pay), so who know when I'll get this. Why do the cool Dinos always have to be in expensive sets? (Answer: moolah. Cool Dinos everyone wants + expensive sets = people buying expensive sets) Kalhiki
