  1. I've made a few adjustments to the mech. The arms and legs remain unchanged. The torso is now one stud shorter, the waist connect lines up better and I've switched to using the EVO cockpit armour. The cockpit is more cramped now, Pixal doesn't fit inside with her shoulder pads. I may make more modifications in the future. The EVO armour also has space for a control panel if you add a bracket :) Thanks for checking out my post :)
  2. Got a couple of additions for the tournament. I used the Lloyd figure from Lloyd's Forest Dragon to make his tournament suit, it doesn't look half bad. More importantly, I was able to make the sword that shatters. A friend of mine was generous enough to gift me a spare white Darksaber blade from his Minas Tirith. I also used some different shoulder pads to differentiate Zeatrix from Beatrix. Thanks for checking out my post :)
  3. So I don't have Leo or Levi yet, but I did get the Ninja Character Display. I did swap my Libber for the official one, though I did keep the head from my custom one. I have also added Mystake to the group and while I haven't shown them before, I do infact own Krux and Acronix. I also had to move the stone lantern to fit everbody. I put in my Master Lloyd as the collectible figure. Thanks for checking out my post :)
  4. I made some very minor modifications to Lloyd's Forest Dragon to give myself an elemental dragon. I swapped the trans bright green spikes for trans orange and added ball joints to the legs like in this video from Sam's Bricklab. Just like with the ninja this power I must unlock by facing my fears. I do have some justification for having a green elemental dragon. Since Recollection is similar to Time it makes sense the primary colour of this power to be orange like for time reversal. I also quite like the idea of coming out of a memory would be like going forward in time, thus having some green aspect to this power. With the dragon transporting the user forward through space and time it agains matches with the forward powers of Time. Lastly, I like to imagine the orange spikes hinting at a orange core to the dragon. Thanks for checking out my post :)
  5. While the ninja stand against Thunderfang, amidst the Winds of Chaos another battle rages. Having been abandonned by Lord Ras and the Forbidden Five the Wolf Clan seek a new destiny. Freed from the City of Temples and carrying the Gong of Shattering before them, no army should hope to prevail against their dark power. Yet three heroes dare challenge their dreams of conquest. Seliel. the Phantom Ninja. Isaac, the Elemental Master of Recollection. Cait, collector of rare antiquities. Armed with the history of the Wolf Clan by Zuri and having uncovered the secrets of the Mallet of Shattering, they reveal their hand. If you're not sure who the heck these people are, check out Seliel and Zuri's pages on the Ninjago wiki. For more on Isaac and Cait check out my topics on my treasure hunter oc and the Elemental Master of Recollection. The original tree design is by TheLegoDM, I made some minor alterations. You can check out their video here: One last interesting question at the end: is it right to destroy the Gong? It is a cultural artifact after all. Thanks for checking out my post :)
  6. That's a great moc! It seems like such a peaceful place.
  7. Who knew all you needed was three Hermione minifigures from Harry Potter to make Max? It's simple but it works. With all the Max figures from other people I never saw a polaroid camera design I liked, so I made my own. Again very simple, but I'm really proud of this design. Thanks for checking out my post :)
  8. I made another Ninjago OC. Her name is Cait and like the title said, she's a treasure hunter. She's meant to be a bit of a rival for my elemental master of recollection, but they could team up later down the line. I gave her two deepstone katana's, a jade blade and stone armour. The short sleeves help give it more of a light armour look. As an archaeologist, the master of recollection would prefer the jade blade to returned to the serpentine. I made a casual look too. Thanks for checking out my post :)
  9. Another banger addition to the Orient Expedition lineup.
  10. What does it mean to shatter your goodness? Artemis, the leader of the Wolf Clan Remnant.
  11. This is a big one. I got 71818 Tournament Battle Arena nearly two years ago and have been meaning to expand on the original set for a while. I finally sat down to do just that three weeks ago. The set was good, but I was missing some training space and spectator stands. I also wanted a bit more floor space for the fights. I was able to salvage a number of parts from the remodelling and two copies of 30675 Tournament Training Ground. In the end I was able to add a floating arena platform, an exploding bridge, the capture the flag point and the champion's podium. I didn't make any of the obstacle courses or the Lloyd vs Zeatrix gauntlet. First a quick overview and then we'll go in depth. The base arena. Extra add-ons. The main platform is largely unchanged. I stripped the play feature but kept the platforms to be added separately. The weapon rack has been expanded to add training space. The core of it is similar to the drum platform from the original. This is also a good spot to pose the ninja team to spectate. The back has the scoll that the FSM satue was holding, you could consider this a miniature City of Temples Museum. The bridge was the first expansion I build, I made it not long after I got the set. It's basically a bigger version of the Tournament Training Ground. Here's a shot clip of the exploding feature. The aftermath. To make space for the spectator stands I gutted the entite drum platform. I took the banners from the FSM statue and put them here too. There's two rows of seating and some standing space. Out front you can pose team Ras. The palisade bricks can be move to open the gate. The statue of The First Spinjitzu Master has received a few updates too. I couldn't make the minifigure hands work on it, so I took some cues from the FSM statue in his tomb from Posession. The cheese slopes on his shoulders cover the open studs and evoke the ZX shoulder pads. The arms are flipped from side to side to face the tiles on the outside. I also added ball joints for the hands. As mentiond earlier, I removed the banners from the back. The hands have jumper plates on the inside. I got some use out of the attachment point too. It makes a good spot for this capture the flag point. The sky arena is smaller than in the show, but big enough for my needs. It's also more lethal due to the absence of guard rails. I put some thrusters on the underside. The medium platforms have them in the show, I didn't see any on the gauntlet from the Lloyd vs Zeatrix fight. A 2x8 plate helps to secure the sky arena to the main platform. The small platforms are from the original set, I made a third one to use for Roby. The champion's podium was a late addition, I still had some parts left from the drum. It fits nicely on main platform. The Elemental Cup was made shortly after aquiring the set. The use of mech fingers really made it come together. Let's finish off with some matches. Thanks for checking out my post :)
  12. I made an old version of Zuri from the Shatterspin comic. This version is meant to be from the Dragons Rising era, so she's at minimum forty-five years older than we last saw her. I tried to keep her outfit colourscheme from the comic, and since she's the leader of the Wolf Clan I gave her cape. Thanks for checking out my post :)
  13. I made a Wolf Clan remnant group just for my own Ninjago stuff. I thought it was intersting to explore the Wolf Clan post season 2 of Dragons Rising. At this point they're imprisoned in the City of Temples, but what if they escaped? Having been abandoned by Ras and the Forbidden Five, where would they go? Do they have a home to go back too, or would they rather start a conquest of the Merged Realms for their own ends? Here I have a General to lead them and two relic keepers to guard the Gong and Mallet of Shattering. Thanks for checking out my post :)
  14. It's been a while. All these guys have official minifigures now, but we don't have the whole gang yet. On top of that Strike of the Serpentine added another elemental master to this era. For today I have Sono, the elemental master of sound, and Brook, the elemental master of nature. Like with the previous set I'll leave parts lists for both at the end. These two are probably the simplest to make so far, I have also seen people online use some of the same pieces for these two. Brook has an alternate face too. While Brook's hair piece is accurate to the comic, the physical piece is a bit too big for my liking. It seems like a Kai situation where his hair is less big in the series too. To that end I have an alternate hair option for Brook. Sono parts: Fez - 85975 dark red Head - 3626pb2792 Torso - 973pb2443c01 swap hands to yellow Legs - 973pb2443c01 dark bluish Grey Brook parts: Hair - 29634 black Head - 3626pb2475 Torso - 973pb4776c01 Legs - 970c00 dark brown Alternate hair - 3532 black Flower stem - 68211 redish brown Flower - 24866 white Just need to make Leo and Levi now. Thanks for checking out my post :)
  15. Still had these short video's lying around with outdated looks for some characters. Choose your champion. Thanks for checking out my post :)
  16. I like how the crystalized shurikens look diffirent from the normal golden shuriken piece, that way I can use both with my figures. The crystalized scythe does have the better blade but I have always found the haft lacking, with or without the dragon hilt. Until they finally get it together I'll keep using the legacy version.
  17. Long before time had a name, Ninjago was created by the First Spinjitzu Master, by using the Four Weapons of Spinjitzu: The Scythe of Quakes, the Nunchucks of Lightning, the Shurikens of Ice, and the Sword of Fire. Weapons so powerful, no one can handle all of their power at once. When he passed away, his two sons swore to protect them, but the oldest was consumed by darkness and wanted to possess them. A Battle Between Brothers broke out, and the oldest was struck down and banished to the Underworld. Peace returned, and the younger brother hid the weapons, but knowing his older brother's relentless ambition for power, he placed a guardian to protect them. And for fear of his own demise, a map for an honest man to hide. That honest man was your father. The older brother is Lord Garmadon. And I need to find those weapons before he does. Happy 15th anniversary Ninjago. Go ninja, go. Thanks for checking out my post :}
  18. I made Kate from Last Christmas (2019) as a Lego figure along with the all important bench. I don't have a Tom yet, maybe next year. Please go watch this film, I love it and I watch it every Christmas. Happy Christmas everyone 🎄. Thanks for checking out my post :)
  19. This is a big one for me, I made myself as a Ninjago Character. Taking a leaf from some of Tommy Andreasen's stories, this version of me exists in the could-be-canon realm. In a post merge Ninjago it's never been easier to just make up an elemental power, so that's what I did. More importantly I made a less ''useful'' one. So, what can you do with recollection? I would liken it to psychometry from Star Wars in that It allow its user to sense an object's past. Additionally recollection allows for seeing a person's memories too. This power would be pretty handy in any regular Ninjago season, but I don't know the ninja. I'm just some guy working as an archaeologist. I can't use my power there either. Citing ''It was revealed to me in a vision'' as a scource would academically ruin me. (yes, pun intended). The only way is see the power being useful in battle is when wielding it together with the Sword of Sanctuary. If you're fighting someone who has faced the sword before, you stand an even better chance of predicting their attack pattern. Like with some of the other new elemental powers it's similar to older ones. Recollection is to time or mind what heat is to fire. So I've got an elemental power, but can I fight? no, not well at any rate. I'm not a warrior, so the Art of the Silent Fist seems like an idea choice. Better to evade and dodge than to hurt me or my opponent. With all of the main ninja off the table, enter Seliel. She might make a ninja out of me yet, or at least teach me how to fight. How about a ninja suit? Well, blue is my favourite colour. From the torso up I am a ninja, bellow I'm still an archaeologist. Knee pads and safety boots are pretty good in a fight, no? I also gave the figure a golden pickaxe. That's just for golden weapon flavouring though, It's not my cannonical weapon of choice. Thanks for checking out my post :)
  20. I've been expanding my collection of ninjago characters the past year and thought I would be cool to try and make Seliel. For those who don't know who Seliel is, she appeared in the comic Who is the Phantom Ninja? and Way of the Departed. This minifigure is not very accurate, but I like how she turned out. I was particularly happy with the face, it's actually from the CMF series 26 Ice Planet Explorer. Thanks for checking out my post :)
  21. Got an older picture for you today, just a little scene from my castle world. I'll be taking a little break from my castle posting after this, still have some non-castle stuff I'd like to share first. Persuit Through the Snow. Thanks for checking out my post :)
  22. Just a shot one today, a couple of alternate outfits. Some Black Falcon defectors. (Would that make them red falcons or blue lions?). The queen of Halloran, without her armour. Lydonian exiles and a Doarlunyn ally. I tried to find where I got the packed horse design from but I couldn't find it anymore, I'll edit this bit If I ever do. Defectors, exiles and queen.
  23. I hope you guys like the Elder Scrolls because I've got some horse (armour) DLC for you today. I keep both horse molds in my collection and treat them like film props. The modern horse mold are my hero props, I use them for any scenes not requiring chanfron (battle helmets). For full armoured scenes I use the old horses. I don't have many horse bardings but I do own a colourful variety of chanfrons. To go with all that armour I made a simple tilt barrier to host a joust. Fighting is not all though, transport of goods is also of importance. I buildt two wagons like the one from the Medieval Blacksmith I adapted a thestral carriage from Harry Potter to be drawn by a horse. Horses. Bardings and saddles. Chamfrons. Tilt barrier. Carriage and wagons. Thanks for checking out my post, more to follow soon :)
