Let's be real, if you were gonna pay $15 for a mech, 1 more dollar isn't gonna change your mind. You're already paying far more than anyone ever should lmao. I legitimately cannot think of a single mech they could make that would get me to purchase one at full price. Well...if they decided to put Rex in one... sure but... that's different. Oh or maybe Grievous. But that's mostly for the novelty of him being a brain and lungs, in what is basically a mech, in a mech. (What follows is the derranged ramblings of a lunatic) Okay so I can think of 2 decent mech ideas BUT neither of those are actually coming. -

He also just made a battlepack ranking video where he puts the OG 501st Battlepack in F tier on the thumbnail for rage clickbait and then actually ranks it in B in the video, 12 minutes in. Yucky content practices. And This comes from someone with a channel of a similar size as LFB. Though not about Lego and I won't be sharing lol. He resorts to some pretty gross clickbait at times. -

I was more referring to people clearing out the Tesco and Lego Store shelves of them, the lego website has them but with a limit of 2 per customer which is fine, BUT if you're building an army of 187th Troopers you're gonna have to go to the secondary market and the republic tank is going like 50% more than retail right now. The 187th Figures themselves are something like $12-15 each if you buy them individually on the secondary market but the main issue is that not that many are actually available in the UK and even more annoyingly the people selling them don't sell many so that postage cost is gonna add up if you're trying to get 10+ of them. When you're using bricklink in the UK and you want to get something from outside the UK you're going to be paying some pretty insane postage prices. So it becomes VERY expensive to get a lot of 187th Troopers. I just have my one fighter tank and the 2 187th that came with it sadly. To get like 10 of the troopers we're looking at $120-$150 upfront and then a solid $30-50 in postage. So yah, hoping for a battlepack or more realistically, a magazine bonus. -

Honestly even as a BIG TIME fan of the clone wars and clone sets I'm glad we only really get 3-4 sets of that era a year. It would be absolute HELL on my bank account if we ever saw years like the 2008-2013 era. It would be nice if we got a couple more CIS sets here and there but honestly if we only get a big republic vehicle set and battle pack every couple of years I'll live. I'm personally quite overwhelmed with all the clone sets available rn as an army builder. I just barely missed the bus on the clone command station (and am paying dearly for my mistakes) and the republic fighter tank is going for 50% above retail and it's not even retired yet. I'm honestly holding out hope for Lego to pull the biggest troll ever and just put the 187th Clones in a magazine like they did with the 212th just to spite scalpers OR even a battlepack which would be comedy gold. (Remember folks, if you're buying up all of a currently produced product on the shelves and selling it all at 150+%, you're not an investor, you're a scalper and you're the worst :P) -

You never know when lego is gonna randomly loudly burp, say "screw it", throw a dart at a dart board and then just make a B wing or something lol. -

I've been thinking about what a new republic gunship could be if they ever decide to make a new playset version. Do you folks think they'd go Clone Wars or Attack Of The Clones with it? Personally considering we've had 3 AOTC style gunships (if you include the UCS) and only 1 clone wars version I'd like to see a clone wars one. I've been thinking about my dream minifigs to come with it, and while it's probably pure fantasy I could see: Ahsoka Captain Rex (if he's not already in a set around the same time of release anyway, alternatively we can have Captain Vaughn or Bo Katan. Oh and technically he'd be Commander Rex for this set but he'd look the same so it doesn't matter) 2x 332nd Troopers A Phase 2 Pilot (im not sure if they had 332nd markings but if they did, a 332nd Clone Pilot could be a cool figure for sure) 2x Deathwatch Super Commandos (the ones with the red and black armor, as your opposition for the set) I have to imagine a modern Rep. Gunship would have to be $170+ so I don't think 6-7 figures is too unreasonable considering it's only 5 unique figures with 2 duplicates. Knowing Lego they would probably be stingy and only give us either Rex or Ahsoka, and just 1x 332nd Trooper. I feel like the Siege of Mandalore features one of the more memorable gunship scenes outside of Attack of The Clones. I certainly wouldn't complain if they did just go with AOTC again and give us the usual figures but it'd be nice to see a fresher take on it. They could of-course do a Wolfpack Gunship or a 2003 Clone Wars Gunship but I just find that unlikely. Lego doesn't seem to have much of an issue putting out 4 of the same thing with updated techniques over 20 years considering the 4 AT-TE's we've had so I doubt they'd feel any need to go with a unique gunship style. -

I'm relatively new to Lego so forgive me if this is a dumb question but when do we generally get the official reveals for the summer wave? are we gonna have to wait until August to see most of it or do they reveal it much earlier? -

Do you guys think we'll ever see a set using the sw1189 Phase 1 Clone Trooper (The one from the clone command station blister pack)? It feels like it'd be such a waste to make a new helmet just to use it in one cheap set with a short life span. I'd love to see them appear in another episode 2 or clone wars set. -

It's not out of the question that we COULD get a 442nd Trooper in the set. But that pic itself is fake. -

Either way that leak about having Luminara, 2 442nds, and 2 B2s is just obviously wrong. The Super Battledroid Minifig has been basically retired since 2015 due to them being prone to breaking. Edit: yeah the alleged "leaker" is literally a nobody who has 2 leaks, one was right, one was wrong. The 442nd Trooper image is visibly photoshopped and it all just makes no sense. -

For those of you curious about the 442nd Trooper, it genuinely takes 60 seconds to make it in photoshop using a simple hue adjustment layer and the spot healing brush. Imagine what someone with more time who was actually trying to decieve you could create. I think I got the green slightly off but it wouldn't take much to get that right. Just fiddly. So for that simple reason, I really don't trust that leak. It looks fake, it's easy to fake and it's far too convienient. Not to mention how weird it'd be to make such a random trooper we've never even seen before in any film or show. Some people have also been pointing out the lack of reliability in the source of it too. Like are we actually gonna sit here and listen to an actual child who says "they got a DM from another leaker"? I actively wouldn't mind if it WAS a 442nd Trooper but either way, that pic is not real. Oh and someone else did something similar to disprove it on Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/LegoStarWarsLeaks/comments/11oyqvs/bull_shit/ -

Lego has always seemingly had something against the Phase 2 generic clones. I have no idea why but we've had like 2 of them ever. After some quick research I saw 1 from 2014 that came in a microfighter and one that was in the original ROTS wave of sets. I really have to wonder why Lego doesn't just make a Phase 2 version of that old clone walker battle pack from back in the day. Are they out of touch and think it wouldn't sell well? It's not like they can't have had that idea in the past 10 years. The only logical reason I can see as to why many of the sets the community would obviously eat up instantly is that Lego literally just doesn't like Clone Wars fans. Or maybe they hate making easy money? -

I should in-theory have about that many shops nearby with it too but they're just being sloppy with stocking their shelves. There's plenty of the lego city, ninjago and minecraft magazines on those shelves and I know they had last months star wars mag but it looks like either there's some delivery issues or they cba actually stocking their shelves. -

as someone who has aquired quite a lot of those 212th magazines (for my personal display collection, im not reselling them immediately for 3x the price like those menaces on bricklink) It's a total pain, no chance I'd have done it for 501st when there was a battlepack available for so long. So that's probably why the 501sts seemed less desired. I have only been able to find 2 stores near me that's selling the 212th mag so gathering a lot of them without being that one guy who goes in and buys the whole stock has been quite annoying. Still better than buying like 8 more AT-TEs or spending £10 per figure on bricklink. I want more battlepacks or hell, even blister packs would be a lot more convienient. I'm really hoping they do the phase 1 trooper in a magazine cus I missed the bus on those clone command post blister packs and i'm absolutely not paying £10 per figure for a battlepack trooper from last year. I'd also like to see the 187th trooper in the magazine to just tank the value of that um... tank? The sets not even retired yet and it's going for 50% above retail on the secondary market. I don't mind lego investors in theory but that's not investing that's just scalping. So it'd be real nice to blast the value of that set with more Lean Troopers on the market. -

I have to imagine the main issue is that the vast majority of bad batch sets are just gonna have Clone Force 99 or a part of it in all of them. And they maybe don't want to make the figures too common? Then again they throw Mando and Grogu in loads of sets. They maybe also consider it as part of their few clone wars sets for each year and just have ideas for regular clone wars stuff first, thinking/knowing it would *probably* sell better (though if they think a yoda star fighter would sell better than a Bad Batch V-wing they're wrong, trust me i asked the entire fanbase 😉). Or maybe they don't want to explicitly depict clone troopers as bad guys in their sets which would probably cut the amount of sets they could make quite a bit. It doesn't make sense but you know what corporate can be like. Not sure how long ago these episodes came out but some BB spoilers in here (though not the episode from this week) All of that is pure speculation but it's some things to consider. -

I also wonder if that Snubfighter being £30 and only coming with 2 figures doesn't really bode well for the Yoda Starfighter coming at the same price in the summer. They really had a nice value going with the Obi-wan fighter having 2 real figs and an astromech. Then again the snubfighter ALSO only has 2 REAL figures, it just doesn't have an astromech to pad the count. So maybe we will see an interesting 3rd character in the Yoda set but i'm a bit less optimistic about it now. -

IDK but if goat isn't actually gonna spill the beans im paying this no mind. Anyone can cryptically say "bad things are coming for lego star wars" and then when something disappointing inevitably happens they can say "see i told you so"
