  1. De'kra shrugged and clicked, "Perhaps, perhaps good soul and lots of pride. Pride not exclusive to evil. But Abraxas already in Ziegfried house when heroes entered warehouse, Abraxas not of bottle, in case you think he of bottle. Either way soul might food for Abraxas. I go ask library about dean mans, souls, and history of Ziegfried house. Also, you hear Orc host talk? She mention things, like new pirate, town watch, alchemists make explosion, and failed hero Lady Wren." ------------------------ De'kra returned to the hall, and checked the calendar. In six more days the final selection of the heroes for Quest 4 and quest 5 would begin.
  2. Brilliant, just brilliant. From Harry Potter's "catch phrase" to Snape's climax, humor was packed into every brick of this film. I actually stopped breathing at Harry's "secret identity." Are there any sequels planned?
  3. De'kra nods and clicks, "I think heroes need know about Abraxas, he strong. He turn Ziegfried wizards furniture, and use them in attacks against heroes. Wizards prepare to confront him, but they very proud. Orc who first link souls and Abraxas think that since Abraxas dean man of pride, the Ziegfrieds helpless. Heroes need ready for Abraxas. You tell heroes about Abraxas when you have chance?"
  4. De'kra watched as a hero entered the hall. He appeared to be part human and part elf, judging by his features. De'kra wondered where hybrids such as Benji came from, where they a result of wizard /alchemist experiments, or by some other way.
  5. De'kra clicked, "Byblos say Abraxas dean man of pride. He live in Ziegfried house, and made house-leader vanish. Zed, first in-line for house leadership, served Abraxas. Abraxas know him "feeder," before Abraxas kill Zed. Ziegfried trying to defeat Abraxas alone, but wizards proud; might wizards in danger. Since warehouse souls in Ziegfried crate, souls might food for Abraxas. Not aware where Shadeaux fit in puzzle. You know more?"
  6. I just noticed the new Evo's resemblance to his predessor's form, how did I miss it? I have to say that his gun arm is impressive, at least from the angle shown. I am disappointed by the lack of purple, as stated but others it would be nice to continue his color scheme. More to the point, purple hasn't been in a set in ages, I think that Onu-Matoran from 2001 was the last one. I for one was glad to get some rarer colors, despite the fact that Evo only had three.
  7. Makes sense, right now I am just considering what kind of foes I would use.
  8. De'kra noticed that the elf from before had joined in the conversation. Since she was on a table in the lighter section of the room, the shade noticed that she had war-paint on her mouth. Many people in this land had such war-paint, though they never mentioned why. De'kra suspected it was a done by a group in the city who only meat, and thus painted their mouths like blood. De'kra also noticed half-shirt barbarian had the war-paint, along with a bone white hero. De'kra approached the table of the two elves and the half-shirt barbarian and asked, "You hear of Abraxas yet? Number of heroes think souls in warehouse for him. Souls in Ziegfrieds' crate, and Abraxas live at Ziegfried house. Think connection?
  9. I have this idea for a quest in my head, but first I want to make sure some of its features are okay. The driving force of this is that a hero is kidnapped, and a band of warriors must rescue their fellow before it is too late. Would such a rescue mission be alright? The second part is that this quest would dive deeply into De'kra's backstory, though he won't be a rescuer. I realize I need complete a quest before hosting one, so this is a long term idea.
  10. De'kra realized that whatever was puzzling the rogue was distracting her, so he walked away. The shade resolved to ask that rogue what she was perplexed about on another occasion, hopefully once she had solved the issue. Moving on, he spotted a large knight carrying a great sword and two shields. "Hero," clicked De'kra as he approached the knight, "why you carry two shields? You only can use one in battle. Weaker shield have good memories? Also, you hear about Abraxas yet? He dean man that live in wizard house, and manifestation of pride. Heroes think the souls in warehouse were food for Abraxas." OOC: De'kra is talking to boomingham in case it isn't clear
  11. Wow, I am consumed by awe. The village looks great together, huddled around that clearing. The waterwheel of the blacksmith shop is positioned brilliantly on the river, but the trees are the part that stands out to me. All those palm tree branches, I never would have thought to layer them into pine trees! Not to mention the cliff face, it seems almost organic in it's flow. Sometimes combining creations into one massive landscape creates issues with the theme and flow, but this creature looks beatiful divided and combined! I can barely begin to image the adventures your figures can have in this country.
  12. De'kra waited for the other rogue to answer. She seemed...perplexed by something. The shade waited respectfully to be answered, all the while wondering what the quest number four had to do with lions.
  13. De'kra turned to the shirtless barbarian. "Dagger of half-shirt barbarian, I buy dagger for 20 gold. I think ranger of farmer-quest also had extra dagger, I not aware of his price. I lucky to get dagger, that all."
  14. De'kra wondered what kind of entity Lady Wren would become thanks to her losses. It really all depended on what she got from her losses. Most people learn from their mistakes and get gradually better. But failing at every attempt could drive one to madness, either trying madly to prove yourself, or becoming a bitter person. There was another option, the plan. But De'kra wasn't about to accuse anyone of that. Walking up to the only other rogue in the hall, De'kra asked, "You see Lay de Ren? Orc who run hall mention her."
  15. De'kra entered the hall once more, now wielding a strong weapon. He had used all his gold in that purchase, but at least he was well armed for when he started his first quest. But of course, De'kra knew the dagger wasn't the most important thing. A wise hero had once said, "The power comes from me, the sword is but the focus." Looking around, the shade heard the Orc hostess mention that some heroes failed in quests. In fact, one of the recent heroes, named Lady Wren, failed in all her missions. That had to hurt.
  16. The shade thanked the barbarian, and felt the strength of the blade. Though it was an organic weapon, the Fang Dagger was stronger and much sharper. It was also lightweight, barely noticeable in De'kra's grip. Glad to have a new edge in battle, the shade headed towards the hall.
  17. De'kra thanked the kind barbarian, and sold his weapon for fifteen gold. Quickly he raced back, and handed her the twenty gold.
  18. De'kra nodded firmly. "If deal," he said, "I have to trade old weapon for money. Not take long to sell. Okay?"
  19. De'kra waited for the barbarian to reply. The Fang Dagger looked glorious, as sharp as a Direwolf's teeth. More important in the mind of this shade, it was a level four weapon, which could improve his ability in a fight considerably.
  20. But Rawjaw and Waspix were brainwashed slaves, they had no control over their actions. I highly doubt they would be imprisoned for things out of their control, but I do see your point.
  21. De'kra walked in to hear a barbarian give a great deal on a level four weapon. Walking to her, he clicked, "I interested in blade. If you agree to trade, wait short time, I will have to sell old weapon for money. Okay?"
  22. I won't count the knights, as to me they were just scaled up Lego figures, in much the same way I count the mini Bionicles of 2005 to 2007 as Bionicles and not Minifigures. But I won't say they were the worst even if I counted them. Like mentioned above, the knights had great weapons for use in Bionicle. So even counting them I still vote Hordika.
  23. Has anyone considered that since the tag line is "break-out'" that these are villains from prior missions? Thornaxx looks kind of like Jetbug, and Toxic Reapa has a resemblance to meltdown. The only one I can't place is Jawblade, but everyone else looks familiar.
  24. Garmadon looks really unbalanced with four arms, and way too tall. But I have to say I am liking the new armor, it helps to further the divide between Ninja(kingdoms) and Ninjago. I have to say that the boat looks like the best vehicle, since it isn't so futuristic. And as others stated above, there is a clear power rangers vibe going on. At least Lego doesn't get a new cast of Ninjas every year, with the originals fading into legend.
  25. Looks like the old helmets are coming back. They appear to be more individualistic now, not just in weapons and masks but in their very bodies. And speaking of weapons, Breez's swords are a lot more detailed than any weapon I have seen in Lego. They all look like they are designed for warfare now, could the factory be turning into a military state?
