I don't want Jane to die, but I do like Sif better. Supposedly the original Thor 2 ending was a bit different. Loki actually died, and Jane decided she couldn't keep waiting for Thor to randomly show up in her life, so they broke up but remained friends. From what I understand, Whedon overruled the director for the ending because of plans for the overall MCU. Yeah, MODOK probably won't work in the MCU without major rewriting. So hopefully it will be the Leader.

I have heard of Exiles, it sounded interesting. Right now I am going after Avengers Assemble's. Inhumanity Arc, for Spider-Girl reasons.
-
I hope they don't get rid of it, as it is the only reason I know when all the movies take place. Here is something to consider, if it is the Leader, could he perhaps communicate while in custody? Like his brain can signal phones over long distances?
-
I have heard that theory, and I have to say I like it. That cliffhanger drove me crazy, so I would be glad to see him used. The question is if Fury's Big Week is still canon, because he was taken into custody during that series.
-
The reason I think it is possible is Kang is originally a Fantastic Four villain, and may belong to Fox. Not dealing with random negativity right now.

My personal theory on the Clairvoyant is that they are actually a time traveler. That is how they knew about Extremis, the Super Soldier Serum, and that Coulson die but not how he was resurrected. Because knew history, not that they had psychic powers. My complaints about Hawkeye are mostly that he never seems to do anything really important that only he can do. He seems underused, and he doesn't seem to have the personality of his comic counterpart.

Sif? Okay, I'm interested. Hopefully she gets a bunch of screen time and cool moments, I felt like she doesn't get enough time in the Thor movies.
-
To be fair though, the two of them don't exactly have powers that people will expect to be explained.
-
Yeah, that would be bad, especially given how the Maximoffs are pretty much the opposite of the Aryan ideal in the comics. Lot of problematic things there.

Agreed, especially if my theory about Zola being part of Paperclip is right. We might see more of the dark side of SHIELD.

Thanks, I needed that. On the matter of SHIELD, Donnie is indeed Blizzard in the comics. I have to say I feel like he is more rounded than some antagonists in the show, like Scorch. I look forward to seeing where he goes, and if he will follow his comic roots, or be more heroic.

Actually I would say less well known characters sometimes are written better and are more likable than supposed A class characters. Since they appear less often, they have less chance to be portrayed as jerks or hypocrite like Captain America has lately. For instance, in the comics, Wolverine often threatens to kill heroic children, Wiccan for example. Wolverine also, last year even, used time travel to assassinate a man who had yet committed no crime. And that led to a dystopia. He later went back in time again, and broke the multiverse. His utterly toxic, and he ends up hogging to much of the spotlight. Take the X-Men movies, the only major characters are Wolverine, Charles Xavier, and Magneto, three old white dudes. The upcoming movie's plot in fact is taken from a beloved storyline staring none of them, but instead Shadowcat. Honestly you are being pretty rude to dismiss characters for being minor.

...Feeling calmer now. I just get tired of Hank being everyone's punchline. On topic, I don't really see Depp as Strange, pun unintentional. I am interested to see how they do Strange though, given how protagonists in the MCU do not regard Thor as a god with magic, but as an alien with advanced technology. And given Odin's statement that Asgardians are not gods, which aids weight to Asgardians being aliens, it sees a little odd to have a true sorcerer when the "gods" appear to just have more advanced technology.

Not to excuse Hank, but the event was not a regular thing, he was in the middle of a mental breakdown. It was still wrong, but it was not part of his "nature." Honestly I only know Hank Pym from Avengers Academy and Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Hero cartoon. In the former he was a teacher trying to help young heroes to not grow up to be villains, and in the second he was a pacifist who wanted to rehabilitate criminals, not imprison them. Neither interpretations required any mention of the beating, so I don't think the movies would need to keep it either. But the bottom line is I wanted Hank to be Antman because as I said, a lot of people associate him with the Wasp, who is my favorite character. And while it is possible to have the Wasp without Hank, odds are she is going to be linked to the past because Hank is so old, so she won't be able to be an active hero or get her own movie in the modern day. And that kind ruins the movies for me.

...This Ant-Man news is not welcomed. Sure, I want Cassie down the line, but down the line. We need Wasp first. And if Hank isn't Ant-Man, then the odds of her appearing are unlikely, at least in a major role. She could easily exist without him, like in the ultimate universe, but I doubt they will do that. Come on Marvel, her original origin story is practically Batman's. Only she doesn't angst all the time. People would see that.

I can agree with that, and I will keep watching to keep up with the MCU. It's just so far I haven't seen a character that I really click with, if that makes sense.

IC: De'kra clicks, "I will not tell." As he says this he shifts Kapura with his side, trying to press it into his torso as he balances the device. OOC: Sorry for taking a while. In other news, Yeah Ultimate Jess lives! In your face comic fans who have been cheering on the destruction of her universe.- 286 replies

I don't think I feel quite so strong as you, but yeah I'm not particularly attached to the current cast. Maybe if Coulson was missing for a bit and Mike had replaced him for a while it would have been better. In other news-Yes! Ultimate Jess lives! And so does Miles and Kitty! And other people! Yes! In your face all those fans who were cheering Galactus on! Yeah, devour it!
-
My main thoughts on the episode is just relief that Mike isn't dead. It just would seem like a waste to me, so I am glad we have have a recurring superhuman. On Coulson, that was a bit freaky. I don't think he will be the Vision (I'm holding out for JARVIS to get that role), but I won't be surprised if something about him is synthetic.
