  1. You see when I say aside from the Netflix shows, I mean shows that are not the Netflix shows. I already know about the shows on Netflix. I had just heard a rumor that aside from those shows, there would be some others.
  2. I said aside from the Netflix shows. Edit: so apparently there is a new clip from the next SHIELD online.
  3. Yeah, but this way there is less chance other people will see it. Well, except for the quoting. I'm trying okay. So I heard while surfing the Internet that aside from the upcoming Netflixs shows there may be some televised Marvel shows in the works? I know bout Agent Carter being a thing, has anyone lse heard anything?
  4. Ah, I am sorry about that. I'll spoil it now.
  5. If you meant me, I thought the hiatus would have let everyone catch up. Apologies.
  6. Good point, her abilities probably will factor in. Maybe her powers will function like many golden age Marvel heroes, where exposure to odd things will give her related powers. Like if she gets exposed to the "Tahiti technology," she will gain a healing factor.
  7. I thought that too, but it would be nice if they are changing the system.
  8. Well, from what I hear Universal originally had the rights to the Hulk. If they had both Namor and the Hulk, maybe they could have done the Defenders? Filled in the ranks with members of their supporting casts? As I grow more and more convinced that SHIELD will be the villains in Cap 2, I wonder what that will mean for AoS. They have shown the affects of Thor 2, and to a greater extent Iron Man 3 with Extremis, they won't ignore the movies. And since Whedon is in charge of plotting the MCU he already knows what will happen, even if he isn't the main writer. I wonder how the Team will react to the news, how Coulson will feel if Cap does fight SHIELD, and if they will be forced to deal with a new status quo for the rest of the show.
  9. The reason I am suspicious about Kang is that his real name is Nathaniel Richards, as in Reed Richards. But they got Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, so it could work. Also, apparently Namor's license was with Universal, at least according to a chart I saw. I am honestly surprised someone bought those rights, he isn't exactly a major character.
  10. I hope so. You know, I've heard about Cap 3 and Thor 3, but I haven't really heard anything definitive about an Iron Man 4. I mean, I know they are going to keep using the character, he is too popular, they won't kill him off. but a part of me wonders if he actually has retired, and will remain so for a while. Like, he will just appear in Avengers and other superhero movies as a scientist and inventor, not as Iron Man. By the way, since Scott Lang seems to be our Ant-Man and that means Cassie; does Marvel have the rights to Kang, or is he with the Fantastic Four? Because they already will have to adapt Wiccan and Speed's origins (can't be mutants), and I worry that if they ever want to do Young Avengers they will have to change the majority of their backstories.
  11. That is what I thought, a lot of people on the internet just seem to think he had no origin, and they use it for the "Skye is an Inhuman theory," by suggesting he might be one too. On Black Widow, I am glad that she is getting a movie, but I wish Wasp had one first. I find myself getting more worried that MCU Wasp is going to be regulated to sidekick or love interest rather than partner, assuming she is the character in planning for Ant-Man.
  12. Okay, I need everyone's help with remembering something. In Episode 5 of Agents of SHIELD, there is the character Scorch. Everyone else remembers him having no origin, but I recall a line about a nuclear fire. Coulson said they didn't know why only Chan would have been affected, but it still was a possible origin. Does anyone else remember this moment? Or am I alone in recalling this?
  13. The only thing I am worried about Thor being on Earth is that Cap 2 takes place about a year after Thor 2, and some of the battles look really public. Like with all the Helicarriers. So it may be hard to explain why Thor doesn't swoop over and find out what is wrong.
  14. Wait, you mean he is living on Earth now? I thought that scene meant he was just going to visit like everyday, but still live in Asgard. ...Okay, I can work with this. I am still using a mix of the original and final ending, I could add in an element of frequently traveling to Earth. Maybe to check up on SHIELD and to keep the world safe, and to talk to Jane. Right, that can work.
  15. I do admit the Avengers probably would have responded to some of their adventures, but a lot of them are too small scale for the Avengers to notice. Scorch was just a street performer in Hong Kong, he wasn't going to be missed. Maybe Hawkeye or Black Widow could have gone, but they already sent a SHIELD team to deal with it. Their first adventure did make news, so it could have been noticed, but Iron Man had quit, Bruce doesn't like fighting, Thor was elsewhere, and the rest were working for SHIELD. Thor couldn't ever get involved until the tie-in episode, since that was when he could travel freely to Earth and back. Now, that episode is the biggest offender for me. I admit, with the news coverage of that cult using the Staff, someone should have noticed. However, it has been said behind the scene that there is a reason why Cap and SHIELD didn't help Iron Man and Thor in their new movies. That reason might be why the Avengers haven't been helping with these threats.
  16. Yeah the prequels aren't good, but the thing about the Prequel trilogy is that it is dominate to the original trilogy. It retconned and changed adventures that had already happened. It produced the backstory of major characters, which directly changed interpretations. But Agents of SHIELD is subordinate to the movies. You don't have to watch AoS to learn anything important about Tony Stark, or Captain America. Instead, the elements of the movies influence AoS. Centipede runs off Extremis, the Super Soldier Serum, and gamma radiation. But in Thor 2 for instance, Coulson doesn't appear, even though he was resurrected. SHIELD actually can be ignored, because so far it changes nothing major about the MCU characters or plots. Now, this might change. I doubt there will be major changes, but with Sif appearing soon in AoS we might learn more about her, which could alter perceptions of her character in the movies. However, I am hopeful. The last episode of AoS was solid, it may have found its groove. And if so, they might handle Sif well.
  17. You are physically incapable of being positive aren't you?
  18. Oh I realize it is unlikely, I just am being hopeful.
  19. Agreed, the giant cranes could be explained as doing repairs after the Battle of New York. And it won't require too much smoothing out, since superheroes are only just starting to appear in Earth-199999 too. Not to mention the MCU could benefit from having at least one hero who doesn't kill.
  20. Yes, give Wasp to me. I need this Marvel, I need this. I am actually okay with the Wasp being Hank's daughter, just as long as her powers and personality are intact. But yeah, this day is already better than my last one.
  21. Agreed, this might be my favorite episode so far. Hopefully the special effects for Deathlok aren't too expensive to prevent him from recurring often.
  22. Has anyone seen the new marvel short yet? From what I hear Anyone know if it is true?
  23. I would like to apologize for not being able to post as often as I needed too. I should have given better warning, before it became too much of a habit. So I am sorry for slowing the quest down.
  24. IC: De'kra makes his way into the Hall, before sitting down. It was hard to focus, hard to concentrate on anything.
