  1. S.T.R.I.K.E. was the codename of the elite SHIELD teams, like the one Cap and Widow were in at the start of Winter Soldier.
  2. Thanks everybody, feeling a little better about people now. I don't agree with Ultron, but I do like him as a villain. In A: EMH he was one of my favorite enemies, at least in season 1. I mean he was pretty frightening, he would have killed Thor if Amora hadn't saved him. And in general he was so brutal and effective. Plus his descent into villainy made sense, there were so many factors that could have pushed him, and the blame wasn't on any single character. I almost would have preferred him not return for season 2, since his actions and behavior seemed so different. But of course the MCU Ultron is already going to be very different than the A: EMH version, as Hank isn't involved. My current theory for Ultron's origin is- Probably a little too complex, but it is more possible than most of my theories.
  3. Short rant below Seriously, this is why fans doesn't deserve nice things like villains with sad pasts. Now, for those of you who have seen ASM2, do we get some more answers to Peter's parents and the Oscorp secrets? Don't tell me what they are if they are any, only if there is such knowledge in the film.
  4. And once again ableism has driven me away from a potential new forum to discuss things on. Well I still have eurobricks. I wonder how long ago the decision for this final arc stretches. It could have been more time than it appears, since with the big reveal they couldn't have done it until after Winter Soldier. In other news,
  5. Yeah, I know I often am critical of AoS, but I do want it to continue. I do feel as though the episodes are steadily improving, they still aren't great, but I do think there is potential. And since the status quo of the MCU has been ripped apart in Winter Soldier, there may be a greater chance for rogue superhumans to appear. And of course, as a show it is nice to hear adventures from the MCU without having to wait for the next movie.
  6. Because of plot needs?
  7. You're probably right. I just worry. On another note, how did everyone feel about the special effects with Lola? I had a laugh with them.
  8. Good news, I finally found the Agent Carter short online. She was just a wave of control and power, with a number of good jokes as well. I eagerly await her getting her own show. On a similar note my sister has suggested that if they do Agent Carter the show it could run on two timelines, Peggy in the past, and Sharon in the present, since they would both be Agent Carter. Thoughts?
  9. That's frustrating. Just curious, but given how ASM2 has three major villains in it (that I know of) has does it handle that many antagonists? I know they have a Sinister Six movie planned, and there is always the fear of not being able to juggle multiple main characters. I know it can be done, such as in the first Avengers, but I know a lot of people were worried Sony would not be able to pull it off. So to the people who have seen ASM2, did they balance the enemies well?
  10. My opinions on BtVS below, don't look if you don't want to learn them. But to stay on topic, I agree that AoS is still in its first season, and a lot could change if it had time to continue. And like I already said, there definitely is character development among the cast, though given how it is the first season it hasn't had time to fully mature.
  11. To be fair the more well known Whedon of the two has some problematic tendencies with his work, especially from an outside perspective. Just my thoughts.
  12. On Coulson On the plot with Blackout On Maria Hill
  13. So it turns out there are at least two Blackout's in Marvel comics. The one in the Ghost Rider movie, and the one they seem to be using in Agents of SHIELD. The latter's costume kind of looks like Electro's classic look, but sillier. Don't get my hopes up for an Ultimate Clone Saga adaptation, not that I need much prompting. Fun fact, before the title of ASM2 was announced I guessed that each film would take the tile from a Spider-Man book. Like the sequel would be The Spectacular Spider-Man, the clone saga (if adapted) would be The Superior Spider-Man (since there woud be more than one) and so on.
  14. Sorry, to reply to Ultron... On ASM2 spoilers...
  15. Last episode in the US showed the Fridge for the first time, but the GH-325 was brought up. Can you be more specific?
  16. I doubt they would do this, but as a fan of Transformers Prime, I love the idea that... But I feel like that idea won't be used, if only because that would be really hard to render.
  17. Well as someone who has never watched the movies (aside from the also bad 1986 one) they could go the route of Beast Wars. I think the Decepticons used Pretender technology in one of the movies, and in the G1/Beast Wars timeline that (along with Master technology) led to Maximals and Predacons. So perhaps in this new trilogy they bring out deep cover agents of both sides or something?
  18. Random question, who is your favorite hero in the MCU? Good agents count, and that includes ones solely from Agents of SHIELD. Currently I am split between Banner and Falcon, though Falcon has the advantage because I only really liked Banner in the Avengers.
  19. I haven't seen Agent Carter, but supposedly that short shows the origin of SHIELD and it's first Director.
  20. . It all fits together and all is drawn by primary sources, the movies themselves. This isn't even showing verses telling, this is straight up telling. It's canon, not speculation, unless you want to ignore the testimonials and statements of numerous characters. Likewise I believe there was official word that Avengers took place in 2011, which was mentioned on this very topic over a year or two ago. I've done my research, and honestly compared to the main comics a year behind is remarkably fast. Franklin Richards is still like nine in the comic, and he is like forty years old.
  21. Don't worry, I'm just obsessive, and I need to know the timescale for my fan fictions. Not the trash ones in my signature, my revised and improved ones are still unreleased.
  22. Yeah, here is the reasoning. Iron Man 2 features the 2010 Stark Expo, placing that movie firmly at 2010. Given the scenes with Coulson and the post credit scene of that movie, we know Thor's hammer was found during that time, so Thor takes place in 2010 too. Now in Avengers it is mentioned by Fury that a year ago they were visited by Thor, so it takes place in 2011. The next movie is Iron Man 3, which we know takes place in December, given the many references to Christmas. Now Thor 2 comes next, and Jane states when she first meets Thor again that she originally met him two years ago. So Thor 2 takes place in 2012, and Iron Man 3 takes place at the end of the year before. Now in Cap 2 it is mentioned (at least in official descriptions) that Avengers happened two years ago. And since Avengers was 2011, Cap 2 is 2013. You can also figure out some of the placements of Agents of SHIELD episodes based off that. For instance, since the Pilot features Extremis, it must take place after Iron Man 3, and probably takes place in 2012. Likewise all the other early episodes have to take place in 2012, up until the first Thor 2 tie-in episode, the one with the Bezerker Staff. So episode 1 through eight have to take place in 2012. After that we can't be sure whether episodes take place in 2012 or 2013, at least based off my charts. However, we do know that the last arc of this season of Agents of SHIELD takes place at the same time of Cap 2. So Episode 16, 17, and so on take place in 2013. Basically the episodes I haven't mapped are episode 9 through 15.
  23. Its fine, I forgot this detail too. According to the Marvel wiki It was in Episode 2 for reference. Also, yes that 2012 for the year is correct. As of Cap 2 the MCU is up to the year 2013. I can explain if necessary.
