Is it worth griping about? Absolutely. Will I lose sleep over it, write an angry letter to TLG, and switch to Megablocks? Absolutely not. Eurobricks is a community of Lego fans who come here to share our hobby; if we can't share our disappointments than we're not being honest. When I got on Lego's website earlier, there were 120 on sale and I got excited. Probably 70 of those were listed as sold out. And I was no longer excited. Best guess is that Lego had the same format for all or most other countries, and many of those countries were not sold out. Is it a big deal? Not really. Am I going to be happy about it? Not really.

I agree with Fred. This "sale" is pretty bogus. Everything's sold out (and several were sold out beforehand--like Brickbeard's Bounty). C'mon, Lego! Don't be like TRU!

TRU (US) has another BOGO50. Looks like it lasts until Christmas Eve, and does not include Pharoah's Quest. Wasn't much left on the shelves last weekend where I am, though.

Found Prince of Persia sets at Toys-R-Us--and they were the same price as SAH! Throw in the bonus bucket going on right now and it's a really good deal.

Visited two TRU's today and both were completely out.....so if you're looking, you might want to call ahead first (and you'd think they'd take down the signs advertising the deal!)

Great job! I've always wanted to build sets from the original Starcraft game but never got around to it. If I had, though, my battlecruiser would not have been this good. Well done--especially the color markings showing the team allegiance of the ship (a very nice touch). Eager to see what you come up with next--something Protooss, perhaps? Or maybe a Terran seige tank? Thanks for sharing--

Has there been any news on a release date for this set? Seems to have made an appearance in August and then just disappeared. Guess this is a REALLY rare set!
