  1. I really like the combination of a flat roof with angles going down, that part of the keep looks extra nice with the 1*1 rivendell tile-technique. I also like that there are tall windows! A great total layout as well!!
  2. I also find that odd and agree with your statement on the fig. I would have loved to see a great battlehammer or dual wielding axes instead though. Or perhaps a shield to complete the fig. (Coming from a non D&D-player)
  3. Lovely use of the different tires!! As mentioned earlier in tue thread the colour contrast each other in a great way. I would have loved for one of the roots to be a bit longer and stretching down towards the centre of the snow.
  4. Thanks! I knew that the authors were friends but hadn’t heard that story on Tolkien and Lewis viewing Snow White 😃
  5. Thanks bud, glad you like it! Thank you, I totally agree in dispair on the grass stalks in tan and also on the crenellations! Take care Grover!
  6. Built a crossover of a hobbit hole and Snow White for the ongoing MELO and thought I would share it here! Description: “When fleeing from her evil stepmother and walking around in the woods, Snow White stumbles upon a comfy hobbit hole belonging to seven hobbits. She immediately befriends the group and hides in their home. However, the creature Gollum is lurking around looking for his preciouss and he poisons Snow White with a tasty red apple. She falls into a deep sleep and the hobbits believe her to be dead. They build her a golden and glass-covered coffin in the flowerful hillside of their home. One day, a heroic prince reveals himself in the shire and finds the beautiful Snow White laying there. He kisses her instantly and she is risen from her deep slumber. The seven hobbits burst with joy and the creature Gollum is forced to continue his search for the one ring. Beware figs of all LEGO-themes of read apples and ssneaking fellows….“ Take care everyone!
  7. Great angles on that house and nice work on the trees Ben. Interesting plot with the Pyrestim!
  8. A warm welcome to you @SimWies Looking forward to see what Sam and Everwater has in store for us!
  9. Nice one @Exetrius! Great idea and shaping on that statue. I really dig the ’sunk in’ base and that it’s in two different colours! As far as I’m concerned I could easily go for some new beans already 😃 keep’em coming
  10. Well done all participants and a loud roar for the winners!
  11. Hey! (I didnt notice you commented on this build at first) Glad you liked it, especially the colors since I took a chance with them and went out of my normal choices/comfort zone.
  12. Thanks! Yellow is a new favourite of mine, I will be sure to use it in upcoming builds 😀 glad you liked rockwork and details. Take care and keep building!
  13. Thanks Simon for the positive feedback. I totally agree and Im aware of the rather poor photo-quality! Which indeed is sad because, like you mention, details easily can be missed. Might sound arrogant but I think the photography makes a pretty decent build look bad in this case. Skills that can be improved through trial and error though, as the actual building skills always can too 😀 Keep up your own great work buddy!

  15. I think you missed out on some entries in the voting thread? I dont see MrLinds, mine and Simons for example. Perhaps we messed up by only posting in the sub forum only and not in this thread?
  16. Like Navarre mentioned on flickr I too like the puddles with the trans-tiles. They give an awesome melted snow impression, which I certainly can relate to due to the current weather here in Sweden Also the different kinds of timber and the snow-piles on the roofs are very realistic, a great build!!
  17. Im really glad you like it @Aurore, and also for you to take your time to comment the build. Especially since you obviously viewed it carefully to be able to give feedback on a detailed level! Take care and keep up your own fantastic work building =)
  18. Thanks for an elaborate feedback yperio!
  19. Thanks! Yeah some imperfections can be perfect in a build sometimes. Not sure exactly which ones you refer too in this case though? 😀 Thanks! I love building them that way, perhaps I should evolve in that area either way!
  20. This is one of my four submissions for Brickscalibur. This one is for the ’Far East Elegance’-category. “It was a day of normal harmony at the Hamajuzi estate. The labourers were tending to the small rice terraces and the lord was taking a short stroll beneath the falling leaves with his daughter. However, a loud scream from his wife disturbed the serenity. ‘I see him, I see him!’ she yelled across the stone floors in the direction of the stairs leading up their living quarters. And soon the lord could see for himself, the helmet of his son appearing over the steps. He was returning from his service in the war. The lord hurried the best he could supported by his daughter. His wife stood frozen, stretching her arm towards the long gone son. He was home.”
  21. Thank you Mattias, Im glad you took your time to comment on the build!
