  1. Thanks friend! Yeah, I used stacked ice cream-pieces first bur this was a better solution! Only thought to cover the chimney and back part at first but then thought it looked better for the the whole roof ridge. Thanks 🙏
  2. Well that’s AWESOME!!!!
  3. Truly awesome stuff! Fun to take a deep dive looking into all the details, which are also great!!
  4. ‘Backyard Pumpkin Patch’-built for the farms&fields-category of the Summer Joust. C&C always welcome! This was a fun build, I haven’t done this type of roofing before and Im pretty pleased with how it turned out. Take care ya’ll!
  5. Thank you very much! Thats quite the compliment of the build 🫡
  6. Yeah, you have a nice result in this one for sure! I’ll have to try it myself in a build in the future!
  7. Great use of Dan’s (I think he’s the OG of the technique anyway!?) roof! A lot of details without being crammed in a small footprint! Great job!
  8. Great to see so many (oldies and new goldies) mustering up for book IV! Stoked for it, only concern is work giving me trouble to build 😂
  9. Felt I had to build something small for the Summer Joust-category ‘Island bound’. I wanted to build an island of solitude and beauty of some sort. This is what I ended up with! Ive seen the combo for the flowers being used for bushes somewhere on flickr!
  10. Thanks dude! @Feuer Zug
  11. Sweet build and nice techniques! The overall feel really fits the category as well. Nice work!🙌
  12. Thanks guys! I dont have detailed unedited pictures at the moment. When (if, haha) I do I’ll post them here!
  13. Thanks @GroverI take it as a huge compliment if it in any way remotely reminds you of an Isaac-build!
  14. In the eerie misty snowlands there stood an ominous gatehouse carved in dark stone. No light could shimmer out of it since it was windowless and cold. This was the feared dwelling of a secret company of scarlet-cloaked mystic beings. Little is known about the company yet none have ventured near the area of the gatehouse and returned…. My entry for the ‘Where no one dares go’-category of Summer Joust 2025.
  15. Glad to hear you enjoyed my build! The wheel-window with link chain 3711 is a sweet combo. Its used by several builders doing hobbitholes. Take care!
  16. Thanks @Groverfor your feedback on so many details and the build as a whole! Yeah I should probably have doubledipped it and sent my sigfig from Avalonia to Kaliphin or something, but too late now 😂take care buddy and thanks again, I really appreciate you commenting the build in this (as usual in your case) elaborate fashion!
  17. Its this bionicle-piece!
  18. Thanks, nice you caught that tiny detail!
  19. Built for MELO round 2, a 16*16 vignette. The prompt was to represent a given one of the free peoples of Middle Earth. I got Hobbits, and chose to depict Merry having Pippin and Sam over for a minor elevenses-meal. It is suppose to take place after the scourging of the shire and Frodo’s departure to Valinor. Merry has just sooted his face when adding wood to the fire while Pippin is getting ready to dig in on the food. Sam is taking a step back from the two more energetic hobbits.
  20. Hey, thanks! No instructions for this one Im afraid. But glad you liked it and took time to comment.
  21. How nice to hear that you liked different details in the build! Im pleased with that dark brown-door, it looks pretty good! Take care man, hope all is well with you!
  22. Thanks dude! Cant take credit for the tree-trunks. They are on oldie goldie by Full-Plate! Thanks again! Thanks, yeah he’s having a hard time 😂 the idea for a swimmer actually came from lack of space on land for the 15th minifig. Its a bit too crowded as it is, but he got to go for a swim because of that. Thanks for commenting and that you liked the build. W00t, hahaha! Great spotting, thats unintentional bearded woman haha. I just went for a torso I liked in the combo, never even realised it was for a female. But hey, I guess there were some bearded females on the silk road too!
  23. For the Pick your poison-category of Summer Joust 2025. I have built a caravan travelling along the Silk Road and passing by a small settlement. My 3 out of the 5 criteria for the category: • Overpopulation: 15 minifigures including; Soldiers, settlers/farmers, merchants and one unlucky swimmer. • Beaten Track: The caravan passing the settlement leave temporary tracks in the sand that will surely blow away fast. • Unstable Load: A monkey stealing fruit sends some miss-placed barrels of a rooftop. Have som close-ups in this flickr-album if someone’s interested.
  24. Thanks y’all! 🎉
  25. Thanks @Corydoras yeah they worked pretty well here. Im using them for another WIP as well!
