"You've already got the main beast covered, and the other spurs are slowed, and the main beastie can only hurt those its attackin'. It won't do anything. U-unless you're telling me I should stand down. Appreciate the offer, but, uh, no, that'd look pretty bad..."

Terry hunches his shoulders, his neck slowly swiveling to meet the lifeless gaze of the undead tyrannosaur. His legs tremble a bit, before he plants his boots in the ground as firmly as he can, then draws his staff and shoots an wind spell at Spur A from the back. Battle Order: Terry Jinnipher Torald Kheyli Ezeran Boris "G-guys... Those you without elemental attacks, beat on the main body to lower that defense. I'll work on freeing Mac and Kiri." Terry said, trying to avoid the fat he was simply afraid of facing the beast head on.

Flipz, I'm just going to pretend that the Undead Tyrannosaur , if you don't mind horribly.Seriously though, awesome build.

The last quest to start was in late August, and now we're a week into October. Five weeks is a lot more than the norm, I think. He hasn't revealed that he's actually Universus, Immortalis's great uncle, yet.

I'm just here to kill stuff then make monsters for other people to kill. Welcome to the game, Windusky, regardless of all of this lore stuff. We've been suffering a serious drought (because a lot of the more prolific QMs have been occupied/are are hosting quests at the moment), but I there'll be new quests up before long. As it stands now, though, there's a few great personalities in the hall you could chat with.

I thought he was referring to a typo. Pretty much close only on a physical level, but there is a certain amount of trust involved in that. Ironically, in case anyone asked Sandman what his previous jobs were like, I planned a few "war stories" for him while he was under various employers - one of was him being hired by a duke to convince a duchess to lead Gabriel to her bedchambers, where he promptly killed her and escaped undetected. Yeah, back when he was 100% true nuetral, he did some very very messed up stuff, but at least he's beyond that now. But yeah, maybe just two really stressed out stoics.

Unless something very strange happened and someone messed with my character without my persmission, no, Masson still has an older brother.
-
Jinnipher/Terry's latest banter made me realize just how unusual/special Jinnipher's "relationship" is with Gabriel - he's the only one she has allowed to come even moderately close to her.

Heroica RPG- Quest #137: Where the Dead Go to Live
Endgame replied to Kintobor's topic in The Heroica Archive
I take special note of Wighty's nervousness. "This task of mine carries a bit of urgency with it. I don't suppose you know where Frey roams at night?" -
"Just callin' it how I see it, and trust me, my sights never been too good. You don't have too much to worry about." "I'm liking the tricorne as it stands, and I'll be trading in my bone as well."
-
"So you got betrayed once and you just like watching other people flounder, huh? Sounds worse than being alone. At least when you're alone there's only one person who can stab ya if you're really that paranoid."
-
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Arthur gaureunteed to hit Bellerai on the next turn, effectively meaning the battle is over?

Loot Distribution: Terry: Grand Tonic Ezeran: Ruby, Two Grand Tonics Boris: Ether Core, Emerald Kheyli: Gelum Blade, Electrum Blade Torald: Ignis Blade, Gaia Blade Jinnipher: Opal "Sorry you kinda got shafted, Jinnipher, but you said you didn't want the blades, and the ether cores were useless for ya. Ezeran, Boris, Kheyli, Torald, these all look good? And hey, I'm not always gonna be wimpy. I'm slightly less of a wimp here than I was back in the desert. I still can't believe your outlook in life, though. Me, I'm fine with sticking to thugs and fairies. My folks wash pigs and plow fields for a livin', what I do is slightly more glamarous. Still think you're jut playin' tough, with the whole "I have no friends, I don't need 'em" bit. Moon Elves live how long, and you're telling me you can spend all that time alone? Bull hockey."
-
"Ooof! - Uh, thanks. You're... Not so bad, Jinnipher. You're gonna punch me in the face now that I said that to restore the balance and whatnot, aren't you."
-
Terry draws himself up, any facade of leadership shattered. Mud stains his clothes and his face. "Uggh... Whoever turned off the lights, they're gone now, so that's nice... S-sorry for not contributing more." Terry casts a glance to the party, feeling ashamed, and expecting retribution from some of them. "Name what you like..."

Pretzel, when confornted for betraying heroes, mentions in his apology that maybe more heroes need to be killed. Truly Pretzel is a diplomat for the ages.

I accept the gold, happy Wighty was a reasonable man. "No, don't need to buyanything at the moment. Do you know the whereabouts of a man named Frey? -
An imprint of Terry's outline was beginning to form in the mud. Same Mac action and battle order.
-
Just gotta remedy Torc and let Miirym blow cigarette smoke in her face.
-
Damn spirits being tough and stuff. Also, finish Ballerai, dammit!

Heroica RPG- Quest #137: Where the Dead Go to Live
Endgame replied to Kintobor's topic in The Heroica Archive
I glance to the glowing green head at my side. Was this thing ever alive? It was a demon. Am I just preventing it from snapping back to the void, or what? "Wighty, sir... I hate to distrub you, but I'm here on behalf of Stie. He says you have some overdue tabs." -
However, for every succesful attack, there is a 1/6 chance of an instakill (with a WP upgrade to boot) plus the Assassin's shield roll. Most of Sorrow's kills as assassin were instakills.
