This looks both interesting and as an answer to those who have modified their Liebherr 42146 crane and thus exceed some of the factory settings. However, I am dumber than a post when it comes to the Pybricks system. Nor do I wish to learn programming - in fact at mu age, it probably isn't possible. Thankfully, I see others have already done the programming and all that needs to be done is down load it to the hubs. I have questions though! Question 1) Downloading to the hubs will overwrite the factory settings. If, in the future one wishes to restore them, can it be done? Would it involve saving the settings externally? Question 2) As I understand it, I down load the Pybricks' program and the program for the crane to a bluetooth device, such as my phone, then connecting with the crane hubs and load the new program to the hubs. Is this correct? I am sure I will have more questions, I'm too ignorant on this topic to know to ask them. EDIT: I have an Xbox controller though I am clueless as to which one it is. EDIT #2: The program linked to above also has the ability to turn lights on and off. Where does one find the plug needed to plug into the hub, along with wiring information?

Member @vanczakp posted some good ideas in his posts in this thread: Liebherr 13000 Updates that are best done during the build as they would be difficult to do retroactively. -

Is It Possible To Reintroduce Old Sets?
Lego Tom replied to SpacePolice89's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I never lost interest because I didn't have it to begin with. I didn't get interested until achieving "older than dirt" status and saw the LEGO D-11 while killing time in a mall waiting for a Air BNB to become available. I was hooked and have since purchased several discontinued sets to make up for lost time. Nevertheless, it is understandable for people to seek items they had or wanted to have at an earlier stage of life. It's called nostalgia and many companies as well as ebay sellers make a fortune off it and the people who 'suffer' from the feeling. -
@JesseNight LOL!

Yeah but they wear old jeans and DB Cooper T-shirts instead of overalls and baseball caps.

Affordable place to buy old technic stuff?
Lego Tom replied to KoroKoroSquared's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Good luck. Sellers know there are a handful of people willing to pay big bucks for a set they had when they were small or to fill a collection so instead of marketing to sell, they market to make the most profit they can and hope the find that 1 out of 10,000 buyer. You can try contacting them to see if they will negotiate but be prepared for the big "NO". Other ways of scoring require a lot of leg work on your part. I don't know if Japan has them, but in the US, flea markets, garage and estate sales sometimes yields bargains for collectable items. -

The 42056 is indeed orange but some photos make it appear yellowish:

I do the same with parts from numbered bags. I have two size plastic tubs that I use. I do mostly Technic sets and use the small tubs for the various types of pins and the larger ones for bigger parts. I separate them out by color and in the event I don't have enough tubs/space, put contrasting colors together such as black/white, red/yellow, etc. It has worked pretty well for me.

I either set up a card table in the living room or use the dining room table.

Probably the best solution for you is to separate the parts by type and color. It sucks but it works.

Vacuum in one hand, air nozzle in the other. Vacuum won't catch 100% of the dust but it will get a lot of it, especially if you connect it to a decent sized box to act as a 'catcher'. A screen or piece of panty hose over the vacuum will prevent small parts from being sucked up.

I hate to tell you this but they have been looking for you to claim your son....
