LEGO Dreamzzz Ongoing Rumours and Discussion.

I don't own this set yet but I saw this on reddit: ( It's the first photo I've seen with a green motorcycle helmet and airtanks (I think the OP used black) and I think it looks great as I hoped. Fortunately I own 60097 but unfortunately I don't have spares of the green helmet or air tanks and green airtanks are super expensive now. I think 71487 would have been the perfect set for Lego to reintroduce the green air tanks in light of Lego recolouring the classic helmet green in 80054 last year. I tried putting airtanks on a regular Mateo minifigure to see if the dreadlock hair piece touches and it only just clears but maybe it was too close for comfort for Lego. -

It's a bit strange that most of the minifigure parts from the August wave have not been added to PAB, that's how I intended to get Cooper (and Logan). I can be patient so hopefully they will appear in time. Is that Smyths? I'm not British but I'm familiar enough with the retailers to know the more popular ones, just not familiar enough to know which is the biggest :P That's what I feared, the lack of sales will prevent retailers from ordering this wave and the coming Summer wave. I would be still able to order what I want from Lego but then I won't see much of a discount. -

I know it wasn't really a question but there's a pretty decent article from The Wall Street Journal on the creation of the theme. I've also seen other articles on the number of kids surveyed from all around the world on their dreams and the focus groups Lego used when developing Dreamzzz and the set concept models. But you can definitely focus group something creative with an inch of its life, if you try to appeal to everyone, you'll appeal to no one. That may be the case with Dreamzzz. My theory has been that parent and grandparents traditionally buy Lego for kids for gifts or rewards, when they're in store looking to spend say 100 dollars (or currency equivalent) they see all the various themes on the shelves, Dreamzzz is a bit out there and has a lot going for it (vibrant, creative, rebuildability etc) but it's a bit of a risk as far as the child liking it and Lego isn't cheap, Dreamzzz included. They probably know my son likes Marvel or my daughter likes Disney this will be a safe bet so they get something Spider-Man or Frozen, not wanting to take a chance on the unknown that is Dreamzzz. I really need to stop watching these reviews because that's another set I'd dismissed and now I sort of want. I've repeated that the video game theme isn't for me, so I don't care for the game controller aspect, but I love the colours and it just looks like a very swooshable, well designed and built, cool looking space ship. Only one minifigure hurts it a bit and Cooper is not my favourite character, I would have much preferred the S2 silver version. I've stated it's not my intention to spam the thread with video reviews and they were well received before but Bricks By Mind is one of the few LAN members covering Dreamzzz so options are limited. That said, I really do like his very detailed reviews. I realised after posting this we'll probably still see what the Game Island Tower looks like via the tv show, so there's that at least. Although from past experience with the Sandman Tower, Dream Creature Stable etc the sets seem to look a lot better than the location models from the show, in my opinion. -

Out of the Summer wave this was the one I was least interested in just based on the name, being D2C and price. But I still wanted to see what it looked like it could have been a great build, I'm just not that interested in the gaming theme. I think this Summer wave will be the final one and season 3 of the series will be the end. I can't see Lego continuing putting out new sets, other than what is already planned, when they're just not seeing the sales. The D2C Castle Nocturinia already saw a 25% off sale here in Australia post Xmas just to move some stock. Regular sets see over 50% off being clearanced by other retailers, which is quite rare to see for most Lego sets. I've watched these two reviews now and I must say I really like the colours of the Z-Blob Race Car, the promo pictures didn't do it justice but the review really changed my mind, so vibrant. Unfortunately I don't really like the build (I like the alt bike build more than the car), maybe if I see it discounted by a significant amount. The other set I also dismissed but I now really enjoy the Tiger Mech (the Hot Rod not so much). I had no idea before watching the review that there were not 3-in-1 type alt builds but modules you mix and match to create other configurations. Kudos to the designers for trying something different this wave. Lastly, the new cyber brain spider like creatures (not really spiders if they've not got 8 legs) are really giving me the ick. I didn't mind the dark pink, purple and yellowish green coloured spiders from the first 2 waves, 30636 is almost cute, but something about the more realistic leg shaping or large abdomens that triggers my brain in to immediately seeing it as a threat. Thanks Lego for the brick based arachnophobia! 76434 can also die in a fire. -

Nice pick up. Zoey appears to now have dark pink hair, her bow is still purple. I wonder if it's the origin of this BAM recolour: Two reviews of the January sets: I haven't watched them yet but they're the only two sets that really warrant a lengthy review. The new elementary post was a good look at all the new minifigures. -
A link or pictures are handy. These are not an early leak, they were found and purchased in store. Source. Some close ups here. Interesting things to note other than what's already been mentioned is the second recolour of the Zooey hairpeice from Dreamzzz now in dark pink, it was recoloured black for Q3 2024 BAM, and the luchador is only 4 parts, not the standard 5. If you buy one get an extra cheese head or viking helmet.

That's why I'm here, after spotting new plushies in 42645 and 42647 in addition to the one found in Dreamzzz 714888 and of course the S27 CMF Plush Toy Collector. Am I missing any others in the 2025 sets? I noticed that's the first reuse of the Izzie hairpiece outside of Dreamzzz Izzie/Dizzie. I can't say I'm that familiar with all the Friends characters, so I had to check, but it seems Gigi is a new character. It's a shame because the price of the hair will probably be quite exorbitant on B&P.

The early set name/description leaks that stated 1-in-20 were quite accurate. Izzie is holding what I presume is a Buchurro Bunchurro plush toy in 71488, which also appears to be the same mould as the plush toys from the new series 27 CMF Plush Toy Collector. Love the the Z-Blob Futuron torso and the new Z-Blob moulded piece is a nice upgrade. edit: the JB Spielwaren box images of 71490 name the bunny as Bunchurro, the leaked set names alternated between Buchurro and Bunchurro, so it's nice to know how it is spelt. -

New info on the June 2025 wave has leaked and I've included it in the list of all know 2025 sets. 30698 Cooper's Flying Controller Mini Build 53 pieces 71487 Z-blob's Robot and Vehicle Adventures 9.99 USD 121 pieces Jan 2025 71488 Bunchu's Creative Animal Adventures 9.99 USD 143 pieces Jan 2025 71489 Cooper's Gaming Controller Jet 19.99 USD 266 pieces Jan 2025 71490 Izzie and Buchurro the Gaming Bunny 19.99 USD 252 pieces Jan 2025 71491 Mateo and the Z-Blob Action Race Car 49.99 USD 485 pieces Jan 2025 71492 Mateo's Fire Chameleon Jun 2025 71493 Delayed/Cancelled 71494 Jun 2025 71495 Jun 2025 71496 Delayed/Cancelled 71497 Cooper's Tiger Mech and Zero's Hot Rod Car 99.99 USD 1005 pieces Jan 2025 71499 Jun 2025 71500 Jun 2025 71501 Game Island Tower Jun 2025 Considering the January sets are just over a month away from hitting shelves hopefully official set pics are released in the next few days. Of the three sets and one polybag that have leaked so far I'm not a big fan of the gaming theme or the bright neon colours but I do love the, somewhat redundant, Bunchurro set. -

An update on Jan 2025 names, piece count and price (presumably USD): 71487 Z-blob's Robot and Vehicle Adventures (121 pieces, $9.99) 71488 Bunchu's Creative Animal Adventures (143 pieces, $9.99) 71489 Cooper's Flying Video Game Controller (266 pieces, $19.99) 71490 Izzie and Buchurro and the Gaming Bunny (252 pieces, $19.99) 71491 Mateo with the Z-Blob Action Racer (485 pieces, $49.99) 71497 Cooper's Tiger Mech and Zero's Hot Rod Car (1009 pieces, $99.99) It appears the "Buchurro" and "Zero" names are not typos for Bunchu and Zoey. -

I just wanted to update on the BAM figures since I've now been to my local certified store in Australia and purchased the parts I wanted. My experience with the parts available and the character configurations are as follows: I noticed that this head was in abundance and used for Izzie, which differs slightly to the one posted above and in the video. It has a sleeping face on the opposite side so I feel it is more appropriate for Izzie and fits better with the other sleeping characters apart from Zoey. It's been used many times before so it's not unique to Izzie but I think it's a very close match. Just one of those regional differences. It's hard to tell the differences on the awake face but the freckles position is different and the top example has little concave parts on the bottom part of the eye. jaysbrickblog also uses the same head (because it is also sourced from an Australian store) and from what I can tell the below picture (minus Jayden) and those featured on lego_bam are the 'official' suggested builds. -

BrickByMind has the new Dreamzzz and Halloween BAM figures for a better look. I noticed he has Izzie with this head which while not unique is more appropriate than what was posted earlier in the thread. @cacacolito also updated their instagram with complete configurations and used the same head. Amusingly, BricksByMind had the same issue. At least we can see what both configurations look like. -

Following up on the Dreamzzz 'make & take', I saw these posts on reddit: .The OP seems to be U.K based. And this post seems to be U.S based. Absolutely. But it's unfortunately always been that way from the the first season of Ninjago. That's why The Lego Movie was such a revelation, proper looking minifigures in all Lego built environments. But that movie had a 100 million dollar budget and these tv shows do not. Thanks, I did not realise part 2 was out. I've got some wave 3 sets to build so might put it on in the background while I do so. -

It's a motorcycle suit for her motorcycle, I like it. I'm a little disappointed Lego didn't include a printed helmet and visor with the cat-cycle set : Maybe in the January 2025 wave. Speaking of... I wonder if 'zero' is a typo and it's meant to be Zoey or it's a new character? There's a few typos/autocorrects in the Jan 2025 set names so it will interesting to see what transpires. edit: beaten -

I saw this on rebrickable the other day: There's not much information other than it's numbered 6527186 and: So it appears it's a make and take free set available at select locations. As the dates have already passed this information is not going to help anyone but the there is an inventory and maybe the instructions will show up one day. It's a pretty good minifigure for a child to get for free. -

Thanks cacacolito. Regarding the Dreamzzz parts, I've posted in the Dreamzzz 2024 thread explaining how the parts relate to each Dreamzzz character for those not familiar with the theme.

Thanks for the write up, I had already started my own post with links and pictures before you posted. While a bit redundant, I'll post it anyway. Lego bam aka @cacacolito posted the new 3rd quarter BAM parts including the Dreamzzz characters and as a lot predicted, they are non-dreamworld variants. Image taken from reddit. The reused/exsiting parts and minifigures: Cooper Jayden Nova New real world characters: Mateo - New hair piece with printed white streaks (not green), new head with non-green vitiligo patch, new blue hoodie and pre-existing dual moulded dark grey jeans and red shoes. Izzie - Dana Barret dark brown hair, according to the above pic it's a reuse of this head, new Bunchu Bunny t-shirt and possibly plain light bright blue legs. Zoey - Braided hair now moulded in black, what appears to be the pre-exisitng Zoey head, new leather jacket torso and pre-existing sand blue jeans from several city sets. (Side note: these blue jeans from BAM from Jan 2024 would be a better fit if you can still find them) Mr Oz - Pre-existing hair/beard combo, new head with normal (non-eyepatch) glasses, dark blue classic space logo torso (no lab coat) and possibly pre-exisiting Owen Grady legs. I'm not sure on the legs, they probably should be swapped with the sand blue jeans and Zoey can have the dark blue legs. I already have Cooper, Jayden and Nova but they are very easy to get from B&P. I have several dreamworld Izzie's so I can borrow the dreamworld legs and head from there, or source from B&P, they're not entirely accurate but a better fit. Mateo and Zoey interest me the most along with the classic space dark blue torso, I doubt I'll even bother using it for a Oz minifigure as it's not show accurate but I'm grateful for Lego taking the opportunity to get another space logo torso in there. edit: Accessories - Izzie (Bunch Bunny plush), Mateo (Z-blob), Mr Oz (Flask), Zoey (pet cat), Cooper (circular saw), Jayden (teddy bear), Nova (hair brush). Some of these involve a bit of guess work. -
Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces

Depends on a few factors... Keep in mind the tax collector has a black cape which is $3.52 AUD and in stock, the other parts (torso, legs, head, hair) total about $4.50 AUD. All these parts are a mixture of bestseller and standard so that's 2 x a service fee of $15 or 2 x $40 spend threshold to remove the service fees. In addition it's a $150 order threshold for free shipping to Australia. Fortunately/unfortunately I don't usually have problems meeting these thresholds, but I wait and make large orders once all the parts I want are in stock/restocked. -
Thanks for that link, I had not seen that before. It exemplifies my point about various pre-built configuration of BAM figures differing from region to region. I've not seen the Valentines Elephant with anything but the heart-shaped sunglasses (flickr on the left, bricklink on the right): And what's going on here with the Halloween pack? There's no jack-o-lantern head for the skeleton and also there are only 14 parts, even bricklink is wrong on this one, they've got the jack-o-lantern as an accessory for the Tiger Cub. I know this because I ordered this same pack online during Covid from a certified store and this is how it was supposed to be packed. Warlock dark green witch hat head skull medallion torso brown skirt gold trident Tiger Cub Suit Girl tiger stripped head piece tiger face paint head tiger torso tiger stripped tail orange short legs Skeleton jack-o-lantern head skull head skeleton printed torso skeleton printed legs long white bone

Yes, the various models need to be seen in detail more than a single box design can display and fortunately Mind gives all of them the time and attention they deserve in his reviews. I really like that about his reviews. Agreed, much better said than I did. I'm eagerly awaiting Zoey's Cat Motorcycle, it's a simple build but it's a Cat/Bike, it's the zaniness I've come to expect from Dreamzzz. Yes, that was my takeaway from the review and what I was trying to convey. Ultimately, it is a bit disappointing because it suggests to the builder pick one of the three builds and stick with it, which is the antithesis of what they are aiming for which is this one set can be built and rebuilt different ways. Of course Lego could have included the eyes on the windscreen, whether printed or stickered, in all three models as it really doesn't detract from any of them. But as is, two parts should have been included. -

In addition to the orange classic space torso the orange helmet and orange airtanks were also available on Bricks & Pieces at a time when they weren't featured in sets as they have been since.... But that was a long time ago and the way PAB now operates and what's available is quite different. One would assume there was an oversupply of the GWP Blacktron torso so the excess was put on PAB to clear out the inventory. It's anyone guess whether such leftover inventory of the orange CS torso exists after the production of the Space Diner. -

Next review of 71484. I don't mean to keep spamming this topic with youtube reviews but Dreamzzz as a theme gets little interest from AFOLs compared to all the attention that Star Wars and Marvel get from reviewers, so options for new set information are limited. Back to the set, this wasn't one I was interested in at first but I have to say it's really well designed with a lot of nice details. I don't like the alt build but I don't think that's what people will be buying this set for. The new Cooper minifigure is wow. Lots of detail I didn't notice in the promo images like the different arms/hands and face printing. I hope he comes in more of the January 2025 sets. It's interesting that this set features Cooper and 21350 features Hooper:
