Lenny's tudorcrossbeam technique is used in a lot of MOCs, but I've never seen a crossbeam made with 35 1x2 slopes, so I tried to make one. this is how it turned out: Deeplink Deeplink I made it with real LEGO first, and it looks very nice. How to make it DNL

Hello, this is my entry for lordDOOM's Create-Your-Own-Adventure-Building-Challenge at Classic-Castle.com: We were on our way to visit the dwarfs. When we arrived at their mountain we were suddenly surrounded by Bhurths. Deeplink The Bhurths took us inside and put us in one of the caves they used as jail. They must've killed the dwarfs and taken their mountain... Deeplink A couple of months later we heard shouts and the sound of weapons outside, the Bhurths were under attack! Deeplink Later one of the king's soldiers opened the door of our jail. After months of bad food and no fresh air we were finally free! Deeplink More pics: FLICKR Brickshelf gallery when public DNL

Legoworld was Last weekend, and I made a castle layout together with Brickoholiker. We only had two weekends to finish the walls of the big castle and make the landscape, so the details could have been better. we didn't have the time to built anything inside the castle, so it's a bit empty there. Brickoholiker made the walls of the big castle and the big tudor house (based on Marakoeschtra's bakery), I built the small castle and the landscape and we made the mountain together. I also got some great bricks for free at the end of the event, Pictures are here :D FLICKR Brickshelf gallery when public (Pictures taken by Brickoholiker) DNL

It can have a regular job of course *wink* -
This is my new Work-In-Progress castle, I made it to show at Legoworld in Oslo this spring. I will replace the old-gray parts with bluish-gray parts and make the towers more details when my Bricklink order arrives. FLICKR Brickshelf when public

I will add them *classic* EDIT: done, (it looks better at the original size)

I was actually going to make a map for the crownknights... *wink* here it is: A red circel is a village, A red square is a city, A gray circel is a castle, The red lines are the borders between the different estates. Here is a better quality BMP version.

(H-22)Phegy After two more days of travelling, Phegy finally arrived at the village of his parents. Not much had changed since his last visit almost 6 years ago. He dismounted his horse and walked to one of the huts that were built in the little clearing. he knocked on the door. His mother opened the door. 'Phegy! what a surprise! how are you?' 'I'm fine, how are things going here in the forest?' 'nothing special, just like always.' 'your father is hunting right now, but he will be back soon. do you want something to drink?' Later That day Phegy was sitting round a table with his parents, eating a delicious meal. 'There is something we have to tell you..' His father said dubitative. 'you know we found you in the forest when you was two years old, right?' 'Yes..?' 'Eeh.. well... you was not the only one we found...' 'How do you mean?' 'We found a group of dead elves.. and some dead trolls as well. They killed your family, but they probably didn't see you, You're an elf, Phegy..' 'But why didn't you tell me earlier?' 'We were afraid you would leave us to live with the other elves' 'That's not a good reason at all! why didn't you tell me when i left home to travel around the continent?' 'But Phegy, you have to understand...' 'What is the real reason? tell me now!!' 'Ok.. I'm sorry I lied to you, the real reason we didn't tell you anything is because our leader forbade us to tell you anything about this. I'n not sure why..' 'Then we will go ask him right now!' 'No, we can't.. the old man died years ago..' 'anyways, we have something for you' His mother said. She walked to one of the other rooms and came back with a backpack.' 'We found this in the tent were you were laying when we found you.. It contains an elven sword, and some other things like this cloak.

(H-20) Phegy Phegy left the road and started to ride through the forest. the only way to get to the forestmen was by crossing the dark forests, ful of mysterious things and brigands. Phegy had been in this forest a lot of times, so he was not worried at all. He found the small path he was looking for and followed it for hours. nothing special happened, the forest was silent exept for the singing birds and other animals. Phegy stopped at a spring to give his horse some rest and drink some water. it was a beautifull place, the spring was surrounded with rocks and trees. After a long break, Phegy mounted his horse and followed the path again.

I really like the torso of the evil witch, the head looks pretty nice... maybe it will also be useful for a villager or something like that *sweet* maybe this will mean that there will be more sets with skeletons next year? i don't think LEGO would make a new torso print for only two sets...

Dragonator, maybe my character (Iroled, the crownknightsking's highest advisor) can come with te king to the meeting? he is travelling to the king right now. (see the adventure thread)

Maybe it's a good idea to make smaller detailed maps of each country, with the villages, castles, cities mountains and rivers on it? We can update them when someone makes up a new village/city/place/castle. I can make a map of the kingdom of the CrownKnights, i already made up a village, an estate, a castle and a city/palace. EDIT: Or we could do it on the big map..
