Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion
DJ Bricks replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
Well I'm in Minnisota and it's like -40 . As we normally get pics of outside stall. I predict on the DC stall will have MoS Superman and General Zod( in his standard outfit) and Marvel wil have Iron Man(Mark 42), War Machine(Iron Patriot), and The Mandarin. With War Machine, we will get to see if he has his shoulder gun( which i'm sure he will). A few posts up, i was able to create his gun with the Iron Man helmet on. -
Still guesing, I'm sure we'll get her in a set. She's Zod's right hand woman and in the movie, so we'll get her.
-
Third, If you count Faora.
-
Well, they need a $20 set in this wave, and it sound like it. Plus it would be a cheap way to get Zod and Supes(MoS).
-
That looks like a ship from POTC, mostly the Flying Dutchman. Or it could be a prototype for a ship from the Pirates theme.

Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion

We only see spring an summer sets at the Toy Fairs. We might see a little hint at possible Thor: The Dark World sets ala The Hobbit hint we got last year. I think they where trying make his suit more dark, realistic, and armored look to his suit. The suit designer said that they removed the red underwear cuz they where human and not alien, which they were focusing on. I HATED the suit when I first saw it, but it has grown on me. -

No, the other heroes are just feature camoes. The main places are the Heilicarrier( which was destroyed in the seaon finale) , Midtown High, and Aunt May's house. -
Here's my guesses for the Man of Steel sets. 76002 Superman: Metropolis Showdown, $50-70, round 700 pieces includes the Daily Planet and bits of the street, maybe one of those ships in the trailer Superman( MoS), General Zod( standard outfit), Lois Lane, Perry White, Faora or a memberof Zod's army, maybe Clark Kent. 76003 Superman: Battle of Smallville, $40- 50,300-400 pieces Superman(MoS), Faora, Zod' army member, Ma and Pa Kent, maybe Clark Kent Kent family farm, maybe one of the ships 76009 Superman: Black Zero Escape $20 round 200 pieces Zod's ship Superman(MoS), General Zod (flight suit), Zod's army member

This is how i thought War Machine's gun would look. i used tape cuz i don't have the neck connecter piece. http://www.flickr.co...in/photostream/ http://cdn1.screenrant.com/wp-content/uploads/Iron-Man-3-Iron-Patriot-War-Machine-Promo-Art.jpg I think the binoculors on the gun makes it look more like the movie. -

Interesting, for the summer line, as that's when the summer one usually starts for movies in May/June. Anything else about the MoS and IM3 sets or is that it? -

I was thinking from a comic fan perspictive, so kids don't get confused, and Lego could reuse some of the colored rings for Lantern sets. I think that the ring mould is to small and round to be printed on. And doesn't the ring already look like a doughnut on Frodo or Bilbo's hand. I think if the rings are important enough in the movie, Marvel would want The Mandarin to have something resembling his rings. And I just noticed all the rings are different. -

As long as they make movies, they get to keep the rights. Disney purchasing the rights with The Avengers money is just fans' wishful thinking. I highly doubt Lego wouldn't renew the contract, it seems to be selling well. I'm sure Marvel would want Lego to make sets on Avengers 2 and Ant-Man in 2015, the Justice Leauge film is supposed to come out in 2015 as well so DC would want sets to promote that. Plus they've barely scratched the surface of the Marvel and DC characters. DC is the Batman show with friends and Marvel is mostly the MCU and Spidey, with one X-Men set. -
Hawkeye and Black Widow are also accurate to some concept art, I checked that. I think Lego was trying to create a generic Loki that is still accurate to the movie.
-
It's accurate to the Thor movie, and it maybe accurate to concept art or not. The designers were probably told he had a staff, but weren't shown what it looked like. They probably just thought he would use the one he had in Thor.
-
Well, we might not get a Minas set with Gandalf, so that's probably why we are getting his staff here.

Exactly, throw ten different colored rings in the set. They'll be important in the movie and who says they won't be magical in the movie? they might be sciencey or get powers due to Extremis. Multi colored rings would be perfect to make Green Lantern rings from. The rings are iconic to the character and I hope they are included by Lego for fans of the comics. -

Unless they appear in Ultimate Spider-Man TV show, Lego won't make them yet. The Lizard and Electro are supposed to appear, Flash has already, Gwen I don't know, Carnage Eddie and Anti Venom could as Venom is no longer on Harry. -

Well the Ultimate Lizard has fins on his back, so yeah. Saw a clip where Conners just stole Lizard DNA from Ock, so that was stupid. Hopefully when Lego makes the Lizard they give him his tail. I heard the Fantatstic Four was in the episode.
