DC Superheroes 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
Wolfpackfan99 replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
No offence, but don’t waste your breath. The whole thing won’t work. Notice how it said to be presented to TLG, DC, and Warner Brothers. Now notice how it did not say that once passed TLG will comply with their requests. This kind of thing never goes anywhere, and in my opinion it’s just an attention grabbing stunt. -
This could be useful for an update of short round.

LEGO Star Wars 2022 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
Wolfpackfan99 replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Yeah it’s pretty dumb how some people will badmouth a set that has relatively no evidence to their complaint, but don’t actually badmouth sets that have some or little reason for public outcry. I mean if something similar happened with the temple of doom or German (which I’m not against, it’s a fictional movie in a real life time point) sets, I’d understand somewhat why, but come on, it’s Star Wars, it’s a movie that has nothing to do with that. -
Well I mean they’re not the first Star Wars group to be hated, some historical examples will suffice: The crew of the ghost jar jar and the gungans jabba and his gang sequel fans… the list goes on.

Latest news about Lego animal moulds

Hmmm I think it could have something to do with Norse mythology (because that’s what Thor’s based on). I remember that Thor had two goats that pulled his chariot. It could be a clever modern reincarnation of the chariot. Haha we’ll attack TLG with castle! It’s a good thing that TLG hasn’t reintroduced castle yet. Then again we would face mindstorms terminators, 1000000 spring loaded shooters, stud shooters, and technic missiles, the droid army, the clone army, the Death Star, the ninja, the avengers, the justice league, the infinity gauntlet, and jaime Berard in a modular building tank.- 5,718 replies

Honestly I find it so hilarious that when someone makes fun of the prequels, the prequel fans have a laugh and agree, but when someone makes fun of the sequels, the sequel fans start crying and getting angry because they think they can defend their abomination like it’s actually art.

LEGO Star Wars 2022 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!

Yeah I have the 2014 Lego Star Wars visual dictionary (ah yes, a time before a movie titian was crapped on by Mickey mouse and then pulled down Jedi master Lucas along with it down the sarlaac pit), and I remembered the weird UCS N1 set, so of course I go to the archives to find my holy sacred text and found the droid I was looking for, (I’d literally sell my soul to get those wings, oh and maybe a 100% on Lego Star Wars TCS too) yep it’s as weird and small as UCS sets come (the 2001 darth maul bust came in second). -

Does the N1 set have chrome parts? I know nowadays TLG is pretty reclusive when it comes to chrome parts. I do however remember the weird 2002 UCS N1 set that had rare chrome pieces for the engine housings, front engine cones, front wings, and the long slope pieces in the front. It is really obscure and generally unknown by anybody, but is a weird coincidental example of a past N1 set with chrome parts. I couldn’t really think TLG would have chrome parts in the set, but seeing how much it would probably fly off the shelves once released, I don’t think the TLG tightwads will produce that many chrome pieces. -
Lego Ideas 90th Anniversary Fan Vote
Wolfpackfan99 replied to Calanon's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Can we not have both fantastical space and realistic space? Not everyone wants to do scientific research on Mars, but at the same time not everyone wants to blow up aliens or have aerial dogfights in space. Some people go through phases in their Lego preferences, I for example sometimes want to build realistic Lego satellite replica Mocs and build rovers and rockets, but other times I want to have cool aerial dogfights inspired by World War Two with star fighters trying to outmaneuver each other with blaster fire and amazing flying maneuvers. Honestly what I’m trying to say is that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, which means (in the appropriate logical context of what space factually is defined as) that what you consider space is unique to you. There’s no exact or perfect definition of what Lego space is to you, so let’s all just be content with our perceptions of Lego space is. peace y’all -Wolfpackfan99 -
Yeah, I remember when the Lego ideas book was really big, me and my friends would always be in a race to sign it out of the library, we really loved the space chapter, and I believe at the end of the space chapter it had a couple pages on space micro builds. I liken micro building to the architecture and creator themes where you’ll always find a regular piece used in an unorthodox way, I’ve noticed that the Lego Star Wars theme has really downsized on micro builds for poly bags, which used to be cool, along with the late and great planet series, I love doing Star Wars micro building because there’s so much source material to reference, and much more easier than building an actual starship.

Ideas for new Lego themes! (Non-licensed)
Wolfpackfan99 replied to The lego fan's topic in General LEGO Discussion
The realms would be a cool little twist on original themes (like the Lego movie did). Well here’s what I thought for the three friends: Captain Garrick, the confident and skilled pilot/captain of the brick queen, their inter dimensional traveling ship, quick with a joke, or a flintlock pistol! Becky, the adventurous princess from the brick kingdoms, skilled in martial arts and is a weapons expert, and she loves standing on the open deck in a lightning storm! And last, but surely not least, Joe, the knowledgeable mechanic of the brick queen, he’s quite the motor maniac! -

I didn’t know that the 4+ theme had a pirate sub theme, although I will admit, those 4+ Spider man sets were cool! -

Yeah the only problem I see is the clock hand mechanism, I was thinking about a white 6x6 round plate with a hole in the middle, a 2x2 round tile with a hole in the middle, a technic pin, a longish technic rod that’s 1/3 of a usual rod, a shortish technic rod that’s 1/3 of a usual rod, and a little round technic spacer pin. Also I wasn't talking about orient expedition, I was talking about mission deep freeze, a 2004 alpha team sub theme, but also yeah that would be cool. -
lego parts reproduction(potential legal stuff involved/)
Wolfpackfan99 replied to fiachrab's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I wouldn’t: a) reproduce any Lego pieces, TLG are super protective of their patent and trademark b) put TLG stamp on it, that could get you in real crap for counterfeit pieces (think of it as money) c) sell counterfeit pieces at all (we saw how the LEPIN crap went down) -
And now we begin on another possible theory, consider the following: Hopefully we all remember the 2010 direct-to-DVD masterpiece known as Lego: The Adventurers of Clutch Powers, in the beginning of the film, we see clutch in various sets from other themes while in Lego city (power miners equipment, agents car, space police 3 ship), clutch and the team travel to the prison planet (space police 3), and also to the castle planet (2007 and 2008 fantasy era sets on steroids), anyways what this all boils down to is that the themes seem to be in different planets. Alrighty the theories are about to get trippy: What if all the themes are just one theme or story seen by different perspectives? Or what if the themes are just the Lego interpretation of the multiverse? Is duplo just the prehistoric history of Lego Neanderthals, the primates of the modern minifigure?

You better run, that figure of jack stone still gives me nightmares. -
Valid point, yeah I don’t remember the creation story of bioncle, but I thought it would be funny to make that connection, even if it’s completely ludicrous.

Hmmm, the cosmic clock seems like an intriguing model idea, it reminds me of the 2004 Lego alpha team sets with the ice and everything, might need to do some troubleshooting with the technic pieces for the clock mechanism (moving the hands clockwise and counterclockwise), I’m also getting other weird 2004 vibes from this (it reminds me of a Harry Potter hogsmead village set), honestly I can envision the finished product Kronk meme: “oh yeah, it’s all coming together.” -

I don’t know whether to gape in admiration or run to my nuclear bunker in Mount Everest, eat chocolate, and curl up in a ball and cry myself to sleep from my pure terror. Then again, I hope Lego Asgard will surely intervene this time! TLG realizing that their fans have better ideas than they do: “this deal just keeps getting worse!” Haha just kidding I respect TLG 100%
