  1. I think it has always been like this. There were 'frontpaged' topics shown with images and maybe additional text on the portal page and there were 'featured' topics that are shown in the list of featured topics only. But while we are at it, the frontpaged threads miss an icon in the sub-forums? They are not recognizable in their respective sub-forums anymore. Featured topics still get the 'featured' sign.
  2. Could this double as a jungle parts pack? Set 40957:
  3. I love that little build! The lighting makes for an atmospheric scene! The costum surcoat looks great. The whole scene reminds me of the old point and click adventures *use bone from skeleton to attract key-holding guard dog
  4. Well, for me it is the exact opposite. All my yellow heads and torsos with yellow neckline reside in my never-use-Lego bin amongst some other useless parts. (At least the larger dark azure plates and wedge plates that I kept in the never-use-Lego bin finally proved to be useful as a base for the white pieces I keep in the open on the balcony to speed up yellowing ) I agree what was said about Ninjago minifigs. I constantly check all the new sets and Ninjago magazines but there is hardly ever a useful minifigure. They are just too colorful and flashy. And if the look useful on first glance they have a logo on the back or something.
  5. The Three Investigators were super popular in Germany and still are. And, like Lego, they are also popular amongst adults who grew up with the books and radio plays. New books and radio plays still get released every year. Both well beyond 200 episodes now. I sometimes listen to one of the old radio plays when building Lego. Yes, there was a tunnel
  6. The live action show I guess. Also the show was renewed for a 3rd season in August this year and expect we'll get more Lego sets in the future if the sets that are on shelves now and next year will sell well.
  7. Welcome @Parrot Great to have you aboard!
  8. Six new Once Piece sets from $30 to $170 are rumored for 2026. Amongst them Drum Island Castle, Marine Ship and a buildable Chopper.
  9. What a beautiful advent calendar - so many detailed builds and magnificent minifigures If I have to pick an favorite, it has to be the scene with the potion peddler and puppeteer. But I love all the scenes. So good! Thank you for having us as guests on this wonderful journey @Aurore!
  10. Did everyone order the same knights, so they ran out of stock? When did the Horse and Snake Knights first appeared at PAB?
  11. I like that castle! I don't mind the square towers - they add to the classic Norman look. (Square towers - at least that's what I think what people think of when the think about Norman castles. So much thinking ) While the knights parade in front of the castle and the guards on the walls and towers scan the horizon, the clever wolfpack is on to something Love that shot of the ghost!
  12. The regular price of the magazine is €5.99 at the moment. So it is not that cheap for one minifig. That's why the last magazine I bought was the one with Qui-Gon in January this year. But I'll get the one with the Night Trooper. I skipped the battlepack but one or two Night Troopers will be good for kitbashing/figbarfs And I can simply pick the magazines up when I am grocery shopping in my local LIDL supermarket, so I guess I am more willing to spend the money when it is so easy to spend it Compared to the battlepack which I have to order or have to visit a shop in the next big city to pick it up. The issues with Ahsoka and Maul had a price of €7.99 because one came with an additional tin box and one with a sticker sheet. The sticker sheet was super lame though. I never understood why there are no such magazines in America. Is there really some SW action figure license (held by an other company) that is stopping Lego from selling minifigs as magazine gift? We don't know for sure, right?
  13. Bluebrixx is going to release the ??? (Three Investigators; Drei Fragezeichen) Scrapyard HQ and it looks actually pretty good. It comes with 112 prints. Wait until you see the fence! I must say, I am positively impressed and the set looks much better than expected. What do you think?
  14. We'll get the Night Trooper with the DBG Helmet in LSW magazines next year (releasing 30 January 2026 in Germany).
  15. My pleasure Your workspace looks great! A lot of vertical storage but easy accessible. And enough space on the table too
  16. So many happy little accidents - Bob Ross would be proud of me Just kiddin', I am such a slow moccer, I didn't post too many oversized pictures in recent years But while we are at it I have a question. In the past, when checking a user's profile it was possible to see all? of the users posts. Now it seems to show only the posts of the last 2 or 3 days.
  17. That's one of the exeptions I mentioned. I guess it depends on how the websites are coded but that's just a wild guess. But you can try adding a picture with the auto-generated flickr link when you edit a EB post, if the picture is shown immediately it works. I take all pictures as is. I think all pictures are automatically resized when they are too large when posted at EB. There is maximum width of 1024 or so? I rarely use my mobile to access EB, if ever, so I don't even remember how EB looks on the phone If a picture is too large or would obstruct the writing too much and you want to change the size of the picture in your EB post, you simply can double klick on the picture (while writing the post) and then enter the size you want. That method also works. This is actually the method I have to use in an other forum so the pictures are shown correctly and not distorted Every website has its own little problems Just choose the one method you are comfortable with or that works best in a given situation It worked! I just saw the pictures in the other thread
  18. Now that you have made a flickr account and want to share a picture that you have uploaded, you simply go to the picture, klick on the small arrow in the bottom right corner and then select "share" (in my case it says "Teilen" in German) and then simply copy the shown link and paste it to your EB post and the picture will be added automatically.
  19. There was such a post but I don't remember neither where exactly it was posted. I would recommend flickr because of the many people that use it and the Lego related groups. When I read Lego news blogs, forums etc, there are basically only two sites that matter imo. Instagram or flickr. I don't use Instagram, so flickr it is for me.
  20. My pleasure! I too use flickr to share my mocs. flickr is free and allows you to upload 1000 pictures for free. There are also many Lego-related groups on flickr, where you can share your pictures and connect with other Lego builders. Generally I would say that I use flickr to browse and look at other peoples creations and to share the "good" pictures of my mocs. Imgur or directupload I use to share pictures that I quickly want to show in a forum but that are not important enough to keep on my flickr site. flickr is also able to automatically create links that do actually work for Eurobricks forum posts! If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask!
  21. Unfortunately it does not work. It is not possible to klick with the right mouse button and select "open graphic in a new tab". Actually none of the options work, so I guess google blocks them. I will give two examples. The first one is a picture I uploaded to directupload. (I also used to use imgur, but that got blocked in the UK recently because of the UK Online Safety Act or so. So people in the UK can not see any of the pictures uploaded to imgur.) I created two screenshots. I uploaded a picture to directupload and the link to the picture they generate ends with .htm When I paste this link to my EB post, there would be just the link shown but no picture, like in your google image. So now I would klick on the picture with my right mouse button and select the option "open graphic in new tab" and the browser opens a new tab where just the picture is shown. You can see that the address ends with .jpg now. Now I can copy the link and add it to my EB forum post and the picture will be shown automatically. I am using firefox, so in other browsers the different options might have slightly different names. With this method I can also try to find the (correct) link to images from other websites. (Generally you can add the link to most images, but not all. I guess it depends on how the websites are coded but I have zero knowledge about that.) But one thing is fore sure, if the image is not automatically shown in your forum post immediately after adding it, it is the wrong link (or a link the forum can not handle). Here's an example from the official Lego page that I can add to my post:
  22. If I remember correctly only new user can see this sub-forum. I think the threshold was 10 posts. Once you got more posts, the forum will be invisible to you. I too can not see the forum, so it is hard to tell if it still exists From my experience it is possible to add basically any picture that is hosted somehwere on the internet to a EB forum post. But it has to be the correct link. In most cases it is the link that directly links to the image and ends with the file format of that image, so the link will end in most cases with either of .jpg or .png. For example, when I host a image that I want to share at EB and I upload it at directupload, a website that hosts images, the link that can be generated automatically does not work, because it does not link to the picture, but to the picture on the website. So in my browser I open the graphic in a new tab and then can copy the correct link to the image, ending with the file format. Then simply paste at the EB post. (I don't know if the forum will show other formats. I guess gif will be okay as well?!?) But I agree, there should be a pinned thread/post that explains how to add images to a forum post. That question gets ask a lot. I mean, a lot!
  23. The Garden Restaurant is such a beautiful set Definitely one of the best sets of 2026 I have seen so far. Friends really has the edge over Lego City for many years now. And I love that they have actual buildings unlike City, which is mostly stuck on repetitive vehicles.
  24. Interesting! I thought the color in the picture looks like coral but not vibrant enough to be "vibrant coral" so it makes sense that there is a new color
