  1. Yep. That's why the "exclusive" sets are usually much more detailed. One thing that bothers me with the Arocs is that it seems to be pretty much the same set as the Unimog. More wheels and a tipper instead of a winch, but otherwise it's pretty much the same deal.
  2. Since everyone is talking about the grill, I decided to make my own: Maybe I'll try something like this on the real model.
  3. Don't apologize for posting a great song while we're waiting. I miss Layne...
  4. Yeah, and it works that way on the other cranes. That's the most logical way to do it. But not necessarily the most fun. :)
  5. I know what you mean. That's why 8043, 8258 and even 8265 are among my favourite sets. It would be pretty cool if the motor is actually located in the chassis, with double axles through the turntable (one that connects the motor and the gearbox and one that goes in the opposite direction that connects the gearbox and the stabilizers). It might seem like stupid design idea to make it this way, but it would allow you to put both the ugly battery box and the motor the chassi without having to worry about the cables. It would also lower the center of mass considerable. Also, there's hopefully some nice mechanism that lowers the stabilizers automatically.
  6. I would like to see a city bus with a motorized compressor that could power the pneumatic doors and decrease the ground clearance when the doors are opened. Other functions should be working suspension (it's a pity that so few models include this), moving pistons and a gearbox. I think this would work very well. Motorized pneumatic functions can be hard to control, but it'll work perfectly when it comes to opening doors or adjust the ground clearance. The problem would be the size, since it might turn out too big.
