  1. The Hide is really superfluous to a stealing-oriented Raider, as the amount stolen is independent of the damage dealt. Even in terms of AoE damage, the Hide wouldn't be adding that much damage. 7 after all other calculations, except maybe elemental multipliers? Can't recall the exact ruling on "+Power".
  2. Fine by me. Thormanil ducks into the back row, and hopes he doesn't get splashed.
  3. I'd bet that there are several people who would step in before Sandy could post Fabian's response and make a pre-emptive counter offer to dissuade the owner from selling the die to Fabian.
  4. Thormanil continues his attack just to spite their beloved leader! Just kidding. He throws a fire bomb from the back row!
  5. Thormanil attacks Tangleweed C from the front row.
  6. "I'm gonna end up stealing that pearl's weight in gold before I drop this damn clam!" Thormanil yet again attacks Shy Shell C from the front row, unless it is dead in which case he will attack Tangleweed A.
  7. Thormanil attacks Shy Shell C from the front row.
  8. Thormanil attacks Shy Shell C from the front row.
  9. Thormanil attacks Shy Shell A from the front row.
  10. Thormanil attacks Shy Shell B from the front row.
  11. Bah, you and your stupid battle-awareness and truthiness..
  12. "Well, lon as no one's riskin a hit on the tangleweeds... " Thormanil takes a remedy
  13. "Fine by me." Thormanil changes his target to Shy Shell C.
  14. Thormanil again tries to wriggle his feet out of the ensnaring seaweed, still hoping for a chance to attack Shy Shell A.
  15. Thormanil tries desperately to shuffle his feet around, but to no avail. He glares menacingly at Shy Shell A, wishing that he could attack it from the back row.
  16. Using his Frozen Saber, Thormanil attacks Tangleweed B from the back row UNLESS entangle has been rolled in which case he changes his target to Shy Shell A.
  17. "Personally, I'd rather wait til we get to fightin'. Might be that we don't need any buffs, and they'd be better off saved for the even bigger fights."
  18. True, and thanky, now I can go to sleep with some closure! "Aw, smacked 'im a bit too hard. These feathers'll never do for a pillow, far too bloodsoaked now."
  19. "Y'know what goes great with naps? Feather-stuffed pillows!" He expected at least a chuckle from his friends, but looked around and realized they were all off in dream land. Thormanil attacks Grey Owl C from the front row with his Lightning Totem. I know you're supposed to wait for the leader and everything... but if I attack then either everyone falls asleep again or I come close to killing the bird. Or I take some damage. If it's not dead in one attempt, then Docken can just eat the free hit and be woken up, then counter, then eat another free hit next round and finish it with a counter. I think it's safe to roll the rounds, at the very least, with Docken in the first slot.
  20. Eh, I'd just super impose a quality picture of a real minifig into the picture, then
  21. Another good example, thanks. I guess my biggest problem is that I'm just trying to think too big. Scaling down and zooming in should help a lot. Thormy's definitely had a lucky streak so far. Very few damaging rolls, *plenty* of Ravages... Let's just hope that the pattern continues moving into the harder battles!
  22. Thormanil attacks Gloom Widow B from the back row.
  23. All posts thus far have been very helpful, and I'll take it all into consideration. That said, What if I *want* to build scenes that stretch 20/30 studs into the depth-dimension?? /pout
  24. Yes, that style, it looks very nice (that whole scene looks incredible, not sure how I've never seen it before). But see, there you've got a ton of brown tiles and a huge assortment of gray tiles. I can't imagine how many star wars sets you'd have to pick up to get that many small tiles. I guess I just really wish someone *would* run a BrickLink store that sells bundles of medieval-friendly pieces. I'd visit that store a lot
