Thormy's just your average runt-of-the-litter. Definitely not drawing from any real world experiences! No vendettas, no split identities, just a midget-giant searching for a way to earn respect among his tribe (be it through height/build, or prestige). Any other traits are purely a result of the trials he's endured since coming to Heroica! Speaking of trials... I have a sudden urge to replay OoT:MQ right now...

Sorry, one more item swap. Turns out I was incorrectly remembering reputation unlocks. Now, I'd rather like to ensure that I hit 30 here, heh. Thormanil turns again to Grimwald, "Strangest thing just now, a voice in m'head raised a good point. Sorry, Grim, but I'm gonna hang onto, and re-equip, that Medal of Glory for a battle or two. Yer free to use it afterwards, though! In the meantime, you're welcome to use the Bright Armor or Aqua Gear if ya want."

The longer I can forestall reaching level 40, the better! For now, at least. Enjoy the experience boost! "Bandits and highwaymen, I can deal with. I've only heard whisperings of the Wolfgang while I've been around the Hall, so I can't imagine them bein' too much of an issue, either."

Approaching the party, Thormanil notices only one familiar face, Mr. Dean, or Romulus, or whatever he was calling himself now. The other faces were strangers to him. In fact, he wasn't even sure if one of them had a face. "Oi! Thormanil's the name, glad t'be here. Hey again, Lyca...Rom... err, what name are y'going by now? Anyhow, when do we get to bash some skulls?" he chuckles. Made a quick trip to the market. Gold should be updated to: 1811 and note the addition of Sticky Gloves to my active inventory, while Aqua Gear has been moved to the pack.

Not wanting to stall the crew, Thormanil hustles to Fabian's shop and picks up a pair of Sticky Gloves, paying Fabian the 500 gold price-tag. He leaves the market with 1811 gold remaining.

Back in the day, I had a 3-level demo of DF. I just recently picked up the SW bundle on Steam and have been playing through the full game. This is an awesome find, BD. I love the shape and details, but I can't decide if orange was the right choice, maybe brown or grey? But then, there's so many ships in those colors, I have to appreciate the break from the norm.

Pah, Thormy will obviously have a harness installed for riding so that such acrobatics will be a breeze! And, hey, don't we all know that guy who likes to puff his chest out and act all tough, but really is a pushover and we wouldn't mind if he just went away? The tale of the Obsidian Dragon shall go down in draconic history as a tale of what happens when you talk the talk but can't walk the walk!

True heroes have capes, this is just a fact! It's true, but that head (1) doesn't seem to be very common here. I remember back when I first needed someone to put the original Thormy together for me, not many people had it. So I'm not too bothered by the swap, the faces are similar enough. However, if you feel like reshooting, then (2) would be a great alternative, as I've used it in the past and might use it again. Definitely don't need to, though. Shh, you'll make me jealous. It snowed just a week or two ago which, even for Alaska, is really late. But at least now it's warm enough to go frolfing! Also, my out of town work plans fell through due to equipment malfunctions, so I'll be doing the same job as last year, mostly in town. If I was able to participate in a Mafia game on that schedule, then I should be able to be plenty active for Heroica! It also makes me kind of bummed that I didn't sign up for #66. Bringing Baba into it would have been a great chance to get back into Thormy's character/evolution *and* there's the Order 66 similarity, which I love.

There's definitely been some instances of the Walking Shirtless. I know Thormy started out as such and there were a few others (Haldor, I think?).

That's what the "(for the right price)" bit was for, heh. Although, I'm not sure why it's such a Rogue item. I feel like a Warden (one without CS-gloves, perhaps) could get far more damage mitigation opportunities out of it.

You remembered! That would be a neat bonus to the mask(s). I don't know if I'd ever find a use for the Cat Suit, but the pairing would be interesting to see (for the right price).

I'd suggest that it be handled via PM. Anything outside of the Hall is, arguably, happening unbeknownst to those within the Hall, so why should they be hearing about it? If you want people to see it/experience it/be part of the roleplay, invite them out to your [Location] and then host them via PM. You can announce that you're going in the topic, then perhaps someone could RP 'sneaking along behind' and PM you if they could listen in/take part in the PM-RP. I do feel as though it is currently adding to the clutter, though.

Having taken his time returning from the Fields, Thormanil notices a group on their way out of he Hall. Among them was Lycan, whom Thormanil remembered having lent gold to. Johon speaking to Karie, "This is Romulus, I'm Johon. Nice meeting you. What's your name? Ok, I guess we should head out now." 'Romulus, hm? Well, no matter. A rose by any other name...' Thormy thought to himself, before grabbing the attention of the young man: "Mm.. 'scuse me, Lycan, or, err, Romulus.. it's been quite a while, perhaps you've changed your name since last we met. But a change of name won't spare ya any debt, I'm afraid! Heh heh. Do y'happen to have that hundred or so gold on you, by chance?"

I really want to go back to the Fields. I just enjoy the battles. Especially since I don't see a new Baba/Bluto or Shadeaux quest on the horizon *and* I likely won't have time for many roleplay posts over the summer. Maybe I'll just take something of a sabbatical and be ready to get back into it in the Fall.
