  1. I was fortunate enough to purchase the Medieval Market Village. It's my pride and joy.
  2. I like the review but whatever device you're using to record it is horrible. It distorts and warps and makes it difficult to watch
  3. I bought it and I'm very happy with it.
  4. This is great. I live in Toronto and I love seeing the windows during Christmas.
  5. I won't be signing. I don't like the LOTR line.
  6. Christmas markets are very popular and a great addition to the winter village line up. http://en.wikipedia....hristmas_market
  7. are any pics still available? one of the links to a flickr album said that it was private
  8. buy it while you can.
  9. It looks like a really nice but I think it's too expensive. It's $85 + tax in Canada. I definitely will NOT be purchasing this set.
  10. This picture looks like it was taken 25 years ago. Great job. I love the simplicity of Classic Castle.
  11. The mini figs look great but that's where my admiration of the LOTR set ends. I bought Gandalf arrives, since it can be integrated into many different scenes, but I won't be buying any more LOTR Lego.
  12. Great work. If you're going to expand on it in the future, it would be nice if you could add the Medieval Market Village and the Mill Village Raid to the set.
  13. Wow. The entire set together looks like something from the Lego idea books that I would spend hours trying to recreate. Fabulous work!
  14. It's most likely just a general "Hey look at us and the variety of sets that we have" type thing.
  15. Great job. This would fit in flawlessly with the MMV
  16. The Joust, MMV, black smith shop and the Mill Village Raid comprise a perfect castle scene. Thanks for the review.
  17. The Brickshelf link isn't working.
  18. I own this set and I have mix feelings on it. For being the flagship of the series, it is a little small. The upper floor is fairly large and can hold a decent amount of figures; the lower area isn't the same. The baseplate prevents a lot of room in the lower area so you're confined to the perimeter of the dragon pit. I'm in different regarding the giant dragon head as I feel this is a fantasy set / theme so it fits in with that idea. I do like the small tower for the wizard. I really like the caped minifig with the sword, shield and plume on the helmet. According to BrickLink, the set can be found for $55 which is a fair price.
  19. It's from 6079. I'm missing some roof pieces so I had to improvise.
  20. I've been collecting Lego since I got my first set in 1987, set # 6941. I didn't realize that disliking Helms Deep is a cardinal sin on this website.
  21. Good Guys Neutral Bad Guys Peasants, Mages, some animals and carts
  22. Helms Deep and the MMV are leagues apart. I wouldn't buy Helms Deep unless it was 90% off, but the MMV is the first Lego set that I purchased in the past 15 years and I paid full price for it. The MMV is THE civilian set that many AFOL's lust after and try to recreate
  23. common sense doesn't belong here
