Proof provided The Lego Part´s 7343 are rollercoaster-compatible! It works with the right incline. If they're too flat, they get stuck on the underside...if they're too steep, the balls fly out on the next curve.

I finally got around to the 31161 dragon and gave it moving wings. I was able to adopt the flapping wing tips from my previous model. In addition, there was a swinging movement of the entire model. Because I wanted to use so many original bricks from the original model, the wings became so heavy that the mechanics could hardly lift the wings.
