Honestly, I think the Cruiser would be a prime target for a reveal. It's big, it's impressive, it's got three exclusive figures, it's been in the works for two years. It's no gunship, but it would make sense. Which annoys me because it means we'll probably have to wait another three weeks

1x2 plate, two 1x1 clips, two lightsaber handles. Voila.

So I was poking the Mando Starfighter set pics because, well, gorgeous, and noticed Bo Katan's helmet has a frightening amount of fading when it comes to the white printing. Seems to be a similar problem to what a lot of 501sts had. Hope it isn't going to be a chronic issue because a slightly faded 501st helm just looks like it's taken battle damaged, a faded Bo Katan starts looking really bad. edit: also it's nice to confirm Saxon's helmet has a different cheekbone cut.

Eh I like it but it’s a major nostalgia trip for me so slightly biased. I just feel like they did more with less, if that makes sense.

Y’all’s pesky ideas are going to convince me to buy that stupid duel set aren’t you I might buy a second armory and use the horns off the Armorer on one of the spare Mandos to give him a crown. edit: got an old Chima set from 2013 this morning and it inspired me to complain about the Bad Batch shuttle. It’s set number 70009, Worriz’s Combat Lair. It’s 664 pieces, I bought it for 90 dollars. And for play and display value, it wildly outpaces the Shuttle by leaps and bounds. Every piece is used in a sensible, clever manner, it’s incredibly streamlined, and it’s honestly worth the 90 dollars I paid for it. Cut to modern day, a 900+ piece set looks and plays like…that. I’ll say it; the 2013 set with only a little more then half the pieces is more fitting the 100 dollar price tag then the 2021 set. I pre-ordered it because the Batch are very very pretty, but it’s very disappointing to see what Lego lets slide these days.

The jetpack thing feels like such a minor detail I don’t care that much when say Hunter doesn’t even get a backpack. Dear god I hope we see that in live action. Mand’alor Din Djarin, spear in one hand, saber in the other, Jedi Knight Grogu on one side and General Kryze on the other, Thrawn’s head pinned by a spike above the throne. Would be bloody gorgeous. I really like the stained glass windows and DARTH FRIDGE. Might pick it up later.

Hey now stepping on a Lego brick is relatively fun compared to those other two, don’t knock it! I doubt we’re getting any next year reveals. Then again, yeah, this has never happened before so who knows what to expect.

Betting it'll be in the next couple days, I think that's how Marvel went? (I do not want to return to the hellhole that was the Marvel thread when we were waiting on pics ) a few pics dropped at first and then we got more as the days continued. My guess is since we seem to be getting one big, one little so far, next one will be Trexler and either 75369 or Cruiser and then Slave and the other one, if 369 is still a thing.

To me it looks like the front opens and the one panel facing the camera on ratchet hinges probably folds open too, which means it goes to at least where Greef pops out. The gun on the back looks to be on a turntable tho, which means there's probably nothing on the back half. You poor, poor elder fans

Looks like Gar Saxon has a head print too which is dope. Also, the cheekbones are cut different on the helmet which is cool and I hope it becomes a precedent. Oh my bad! It’s an educated guess combined with an interview in which the designers said they’d have a really big announcement regarding the Gunship soon so…

Same holy smokes I was scared there for a sec bc my budget is pretty darn set by now part of me wants to Bricklink that hairpiece and red tiles right now because by August it’ll be a mess. Oof watching it after clone wars is probably setting yourself up for disappointment it’s not as good IMO but hey the hair piece looks dumb but it’s what I was expecting. Also looks like I was right about Legocon being just the Gunship but not for the reasons I though lmao!

I think immediately being hypercritical is kind of a reflex after the disaster that was the winter wave and the Bad Batch shuttle being…what it is…with a bit of modding and a PROPER VIEWING ANGLE it’ll be much better I think. it’s like they TRY to make the sets look as horrible as possible in the promo material smh

Ironically this wave while making ToT completely irrelevant has made the Imp Shuttle make somewhat more sense. Throw a hood and a black cape on that Luke and voila. The imp shuttle should have been Koska, Doc Pershing and idk Cara or something tho.

Upon further inspection, there looks like there’s space in the front of the cruiser for a good four rooms, which would be enough to have the trooper bay, Grogu’s jail, the command center (it would be in the wrong place but I doubt you’re fitting jack squat in the bridge) and a hangar bay other then the one in the middle for the TIEs. Might not be as bad as I thought. also I saw someone bring up “what if there’s microbuilds for the Slave 1 and imp shuttle” and even if there aren’t those will be so much fun to make

I got 20th Ann so yup fifty bucks saved. I’d be surprised if the helmet never showed up in a Bad Batch set tho

Yeah I checked order status and it said “waiting for stock” so I’m guessing it’s just a robot error.
