Thorin’s hairpiece is gorgeous and proof they can do the crown the way it needs to be done. This piece feels like an oversight tbh but it’s not a dealbreaker for me. I wish they’d find a different color for her hair tho this brown doesn’t cut it for me even tho it’s the closest color currently around.

And I understand why they’re doing these two over President because they go together but still President Loki is such a cool funny concept it’s a missed opportunity.

Hot take I like the figure. The head doesn’t bother me that much, the body printing is gorgeous (but should have a skirt), and the tiara is bad but not as bad as y’all are saying. The thing I’m more annoyed by is that we’re getting TVA Loki over President Loki because TVA Loki can be parted out with any random parts in a snap and it’s clearly just them not wanting to make a second horn/hair mold. What I will be VERY mad about is if they use this piece for Lady Loki, but I doubt it, their actual hair is too different anyway.

The one thing I have to say about the S1 name change is that if it’s across the board, in some ways it’s even more insensitive to slavery then leaving it alone. According to lore, and I’m not sure if this is still canon but why wouldn’t it be, Jango named the ship that after he escaped a hard labor prison where he was a slave. The name of the ship is a matter of pride, of him striking back against the chains that bound him. Erasing that erases an important part of the Fett family’s history. But hey, since when does Disney care about lore? I do agree with most of the people on here that it’s probably a search optimization thing, and that it isn’t a big a deal as everyone’s making it out to be. Also an interesting take I saw was kids asking for it and their parents being weirded out, which I can attest to. When I told my mom I had the 20th Ann coming in the mail she got weirded out and I had to explain the lore to her. Most eight year olds don’t know said lore and probably would end up with their parents not getting them the ship. also HAH I was right 😑

It's dumb too because it's such an easy thing to add two 1x1 studs, a ratchet clip and then whatever build you want for the actual foot.

That's the other thing that is somewhat depressing. These figures look really damn good (with the exception of Rocket) but they're just dumb choices. Fortunately Nebula and Gamora are cheap on Bricklink as of now (they're slowly rising on Ebay) so I grabbed those, Ravager Gamora because it just looks cooler. Still a swing and a miss from TLG tho.

Fair enough. I guess I'm just salty because the grey is so drab and boring IMO. I like the tail addition tho. And I get why they put Thor in it but come on he was in the ship for five minutes. Nebula if anyone is the biggest oversight she flew the ship most during Endgame which is clearly when this is from.

I got my hands on the Benatar, damn it's pretty but the figures suck. The Chitauri was wholly unnecessary, Rocket's such a boring-looking figure and Thor really doesn't fit. What's that, those three could be replaced by Nebula, Gamora and Drax and the set would be perfect? Dang.

Off topic, but this point if they haven’t dropped pictures of the Mandalorian sets by Friday I’d be pleasantly surprised if the LegoCon reveal isn’t those.

I don't agree about that last one, I've heard rumors that the build's been kicking around for a while so I bet it would have been next year's even if one of the others had won and a playscale would have been postponed another year. Not trying to start a fight or anything though because I legit don't care about this set. I'd like a playscale but if it happens or not doesn't really matter to me that much.

holy smokes batman this fanbase is...something else. Anyway I hope the Marauder's easy to find, I want to army build with that. Wish we got more imperial land vehicles besides AT ATs. Hopefully with Mando 3 and Ahsoka being the gang going up against whatever Thrawn's got up his sleeve we'll get more. Oh, like a swamp stormie and an aquatic stormie. That would be really cool.

We haven’t gotten better pictures of the Armorer but she’s the biggest disappointment for me. The horns just do not look good.

Hunter at least should have had a backpack. Wrecker already has his armor thing and Echo being relatively small and slim in comparison to the others works. Hunter needs the backpack for the general silhouette otherwise he looks really skinny and weird

I genuinely don’t think it is. The promo said “a new Lego set.” It would be a new level of stupid for them to only reveal one Mandalorian set.

Just watched a Shuttle review and ugh maybe it was just the distance from the camera but I’m definitely sliding back into doomering about it. The actual shuttle is just so small for 100 dollars.

I think they saw the reaction to the lack of TV show stuff these past two years and are finally reacting to it.

Yeah there's no way they don't do something with them. Even if it isn't officially from BoBF because that's sort of a one-off special (from what I've heard, it's shorter then Mando and won't be happening again), he'll show up in Mando 3 almost guaranteed. Something something Ahsoka asks him to gather a team to help her with Thrawn and he grabs Boba because it's Boba.

Well dang. I always saw them kicking around in stores in my area so I had no idea. That all being said, I maintain nothing from this wave will be as hard to get as previous ones because COVID is no longer screwing with the supply chain. Different point I know but thought I'd bring it up. Waiting? Being smart with money? What is this, normal human behavior? Hail Thrawn.
