Hi guys. so glad i found this forum. Ok so does anyone know which store is selling sets 79004 Barrel Escape and 9476 The Orc Forge? I think i saw the Orc Forge at my local BigW and it sold really fast. Yet to see the Barrel Escape it's the last Hobbit set i need.

I finally bought 9492 TIE Fighter and i must say i am disappointed. The Minifigs are fine, shame the TIE pilot and Imperial Officer didn't get guns. R5-J2 is nice and goes a long nicely with the two other R5 units from the X-wing and Y-wing. The Death Star Trooper is also nice love the new helmet. The price i paid was $88 reduced from $99 from Myer (got the price down buy getting a price match with the price of Kmart's). I am not happy with paying that much i would happily pay at most $60 no way i would pay $99. The set is a was abit of a let down. The only play features are the new opening cockpit which is nicer than the old piece and the flickfire missiles, ok so it is a TIE fighter so it doesn't have anything really cool about it in the first place so i think TLG should of included some other stuff like a Stormtrooper and some piece of hanger equipment really anything would be fine and would improve the lack of play features, Then maybe i would be happier paying the $88. And compared to the new 9493 X-wing and 9495 Y-wing which are great sets it really doesn't compare to them. (All prices are Australian Dollars)

I agree no more videos, no more vote for my design, no more this is what i wish TLG to make. It's not just lord of the bricks but he seems to be the main offender no Offense. I think this topic needs to be run a lot more like the Star Wars one. Their should be a another thread called future set ideas and another for general questions. and any thing that falls under those which is posted in the main topic should be moved. Because some times it is hard to follow this topic with all the rumors and irrelevant stuff.

You have to remember Star Wars was aimed at young Teens and kids so really it doesn't have to be logical. I think the Ewok's brought a bit of needed humor to the end of Jedi other wise it would be boring to the younger fans.

Very much looking forward to this second wave of LOTR sets. All the sets look/sound great. As i have a few more of the LOTR sets from the first wave to still get and two more of the Hobbit sets then it shouldn't be all that bad waiting till June (or whenever they are released in Australia). Oh and is it just these four sets and Orthanc or is their the potability of a few more? , because it seems like a pretty small wave to me. Thoughts on the black gate the set it's self looks great and the size works well, would of liked a second tower on the left side but oh well i can't complain. Great figures look great glad to see Gandalf the White, Mouth of Sauron, Aragorn (in the new print) and the armored Orc's look great very happy with them. Would of liked to see a solider of Gondor but i am sure we will see one in a set to come TLG would be mad to not make them oh and a horse for either Gandalf or Aragorn would of been nice. Now the Eagle is not great but it is a prelim so i am sure it will have better legs with claws really anything would be nicer than what it has in the picture. Other than those few little things great great set a must buy.

I would love it if TLG made a Grand Admiral Thrawn planet set. Really anything form the Thrawn trilogy.

Anyone saying Wedge was Red Leader during The Battle of Endor needs to go watch the movie again. Wedge was Rogue Leader during The Battle of Endor. Sorry i stand corrected i was thinking of a few EU battles. Wedge was Red Leader during the battle of Endor, and was later Rogue Leader during 4 ABY, 6.5-7 ABY.

Really it depends on where you live and what retail shops are near you. Example i live in Brisbane, Australia and I have a Target, Kmart and Big W (which are the three big retail stores in Australia) near me and none of them have yet got the new sets.

So i am looking at buying the 10188 Death Star. And I was wondering because this set was released in 2008 before TLG used pupils on their Star Wars mini-figs, has TLG updated the mini-figs that come with the set? because it is still for sale on shop.lego.com.

Luke and Boba Fett will not be in the Sail Barge as they both are in the 9496 Desert Skiff the more likely choose is Han and Chewie, or C3-PO and ether Han or Chewie or some random fig.

I was watching Return of the Jedi the other night and i thought it would be great to see a new Imperial Shuttle (Lambda-class T-4a Shuttle) but with Luke, Leia and Han all in Endor gear, plus either C3-PO, R2-D2 or Chewie maybe even a Endor rebel trooper or two. TLG has not released a Imperial Shuttle since 2005 7264 Imperial Inspection ( not including the 2010 UCS Imperial Shuttle 10212 or the 2007 Imperial Landing Craft 7659.So i think it's a bit other due if you ask me and a great opportunity for new Endor Luke, Leia and Han Minifigures.

I have to say i really like Hoth sets the more the better as ESB is my favourite SW movie. So i am pretty keen for this new Battle of Hoth set as I could really use the another Snowspeeder for my wip MOC. Ok so most of the figs are remakes oh well I don't mind. At last a General Rieekan i don't know how long i have been waiting for him to be made, can't wait to see some better quality and closer up pictures of the set and it's figs. I don't under stand why there is two Luke's in the picture i can see one has a visor and the other on doesn't but why put two in the picture it is just confusing. Shame their is new Wedge, Hobbie, Janson or any other rouge's but i guess i can't always get what I want. I have seen are few people complain about the speeder bike and it not being in the movie ok I can see why it may upset people but it's LEGO it's almost never going to be 100% movie accurate. BTW does any know where to get a few of 8083, 8084 and 8129 other than bricklink and somewhere that ships to Australia would be awesome?

The Forest moon of Endor which we see in Jedi orbits the real Endor which is a blue gas giant planet.

I would love to see a CW set with Rako Hardeen as I have seen a few customs and I see a lot of great potential in a LEGO made Rako. I am not too sure what would be included set wise but it should for sure include Rako, Cad Bane, maybe a phase 2 shock trooper or Commander Fox even both. But I really want to see a Rako Hardeen.

Endor is blue because it is the real Endor which is a large blue gas giant, the green one we all know and love is the forest moon of Endor, so one of the gas giants moons. And that's why it is blue. so it's not a repeat at all which makes it my fav planet set yet.

You should photo copy them and give them to us :D

I wish TLG would do that i need new stickers for my 7676 Republic Attack Gunship, 7674 V-19 Torrent (the list goes on) because they have dried up and cracked. So i would be up for reprints of stickers. See this is why TLG should just print on the bricks (not sure if we can swear?) BEEPing STICKERS!!
