I agree with everyone the new B-wing is a bit of a let down with the wings/s foils. But it is still a must buy for me along with everything from this wave. So i think i will MOD the new B-wing with parts from the my 2006 B-wing and try to use some of the build style of the UCS set.

I don't see why not. If both models are much the same size then i am sure it will.

I have all six they are great sets (the Falcon and X-wing are the best) and much cooler than the planet sets IMO but if you want all the other sets first get them and leave these till last. But definitely get them you wont be disappointed. Whats that got to do with Star Wars??

Bought last years Republic Gunship for $139AUD. Still in the middle of building it but i am surpized how differnt the build is compared to 2008's CW one. Now i have to make room to display it mighy have to pack a few older sets away. Next up Jabba's Sail Barge and AT-TE.

Oh boy they really do look great. These two are at the top of my list for the summer wave. I hope to see more Rebels sets in the future. I really want to see the Phatom attached to the Ghost.

Got 5 of the 6 Microfighters 75028, 75030, 75031, 75032 and 75033. As well as two of the new battle packs 75034 Death Star Troopers and 75035 Utapau Troopers. As well as two Batman sets 76010 and 76011. Next on the list is Jabba's Sail Barge which i am still yet to get as well as the new Gunship, AT-TE and Spider Droid. Then all the $35AUD sets from this year.

Thank you both! I guess i will have to wait till the summer wave is released then and see if the price drops at all. I had a bit of a look on bricklink to see prices of 8129 used and really i think if i get one for under $300AUD including shipping then i have done alright.

Sorry if i sound rude but did you even read my question? I will be buying both. But i wanted to know if it is cheaper to buy 8129 before the new one is released?

So would it be cheaper to buy 8129 now before the releaese of the new AT-AT this summer(winter 4 me), or after its release? I really want 8129, and i plan to buy the new one aswell. Also is it worth buying a MISB or used?

I have a feeling that the finial product of the Phantom is gonna be very different and look much more refined and slick, Same with the Ghost, hoping for more SWR sets to come. Also the B-wing is looking great and will go great with the last X-wing etc, i look forward to seeing the finial minifigs as with all the sets. Really looking forward to this wave.

Well Star Wars actually takes place a long, long time ago soo... maybe Conquistadors copied the Neimoidians.

Come on guys with the new sets start posting reviews i really want to see some good quality reviews! I really like this new wave the figs are great! shame their is only the 4 sets would of liked to see some more. I am glad TLG didn't give us all the Dwarfs again!

I doubt it. The new Hobbit sets are due December. TLG try not to release all the news sets at once. It is very likly they won't be out till Feb. But some places may get them before that; like Germany.

When have we ever had Battle packs mid year? Like it would be cool but to be realistic i highly doubt that will happen at least not next year. Because mid year sets are normally the larger of the sets of the year and i really don't want to lose the number of larger sets for battle packs.

Ugly Helmet!! The goggles are in the wrong spot and just look stupid!! But with that being said the rest of the minifig looks really good.

Why is it so hard for TLG to put the mouth print a little lower on the Phase 2 Clone! But other than that great and love the new R2!

At last I got 7879 Hoth Echo Base which is smaller than i thought but the minifigs more than make up for it. Now to get the Battle of Hoth and the 2010 AT-AT walker and i guess while i am at it try and find a few more cheap Hoth battle packs off bricklink. Also a friend gave me a mini build set from a few years back 4489 AT-AT.

Fair enough, i guess i'll just buy updated heads and parts off bricklink which is no big deal. Anyway such an amazing set! Really makes me want to pick up more older sets i missed like 7754, 8038, and 10198 which will cost an arm and lego for MISB but i guess worth it in the end.

I picked my 10188 Death Star up from lay-by yesterday and i am almost finished the build just one more box to go but i'll save that for tomorrow. I paid $600 AUD which isn't to bad. Only complaint is the outdated mini-figs and build techniques but it is a 2008 set so it's not that big a deal. But its weird because the Han Solo and Ben Kenobi heads have the new heads with white pupils but the rest of the figs have the older less detailed heads. Which is odd because most of the ones with the old prints have had updated face prints, so why TLG didn't switch the old ones with new ones like Han and Kenobi i don't know. Any way now i have to find somewhere to display it, i might even have to make a case for it.
