Did they change Batman's voice? He sounds higher pitched to me.- 1,409 replies

I'm so happy the Flintstones made it. I've been following it for more than a year. I really hope it gets made. It's a no brainer for me, but the review board works in mysterious ways. -

Oooooh, Grundy is long overdue... Here's hoping I'm reading these hints correctly. I'm a little disappointed we didn't get Batman Beyond, although this Batgirl figure does look great. So I'll have to keep debating whether to get a custom or not... Also great additions to the Batman collection! Looking forward to adding Ace to my colleciton too!- 1,409 replies

I haven't been able to find the Ultimate Batmobile polybag. I checked my local TRU but by this point it's pretty clear of polybags. Does anyone have any tips for finding these in the wild elsewhere? -

I honestly do not see the appeal of this set at all. It's a bunch of gray parts and it's not even one of the most iconic SW ships. There are more deserving projects and I won't be surprised when this one gets canned. -

Aw man, that is sad. I almost wish I hadn't read this. Universal Monsters minifigures would have been amazing, as would have been Looney Tunes. -

Zero effort into Marvel figs? The Marvel minifigures are some of the best minifigures Lego has ever made. Most/many of them are intricately detailed, and actually Star Wars fans complain that the minifigs from that theme don't get that level of detail. I share your disappointment with this helmet design, but I'd argue saying that they often put zero effort into Marvel minifigs is an overstatement. But yeah, if this is the final design, that is disappointing. It makes me wonder if it has anything to do with Lego cutting down on costs. It's a shame.- 3,962 replies

Oh, I had never noticed Cyborg was different in the film! Yeah, too bad about Gleek. Wonder why they ended up not including him with either of the CMFs. I think mostly I'd like some more Batman variants... I am still kinda annoyed that they included the weird Merbat and a bunch of the vacation variations for other figures. There are more cool batsuits they could have included. Still, I guess I can't complain. We did get an insane amount of detailed figures with this theme. -

You mean this one? It is similar but I'd argue this new droid is even nicer. -

I imagine I'm probably part of a minority, but I am just so excited about this new astromech, although I couldn't care less about the set. Gun metal grey and metallic printing? Count me in! -

Aren't all the missing JL figures ones that you can find in old sets? -

Haha, I know what you mean... The only way for your collection to be complete would be the SH line to be discontinued, and we wouldn't want that, would we? -

Big fan of your collection, deemen. Collection goals for sure... I have the old Robin but not the version with the short hair. I tell myself the alternate version is too high of an expense to be justified, but then I see collections like yours and it bugs me again. -
I have a feeling that once enough of these figures are around, the policeman will be easier to get on the secondary market... My hunch is that speculators are oberestimating the demand and appeal of the figure. The policeman, I'd say, is pretty niche. It looks too basic next to the other figures, and there are more aesthetically pleasant policemen these days. I'd say the appeal is mostly for people nostalgic for the old designs. I managed to get mine today. I'm hoping to find another one eventually for display. But I really expect it to become easier to find once the prices drop and resellers have less incentive to"swoop" them.

So today I found these at a Target, but someone had already gotten the police officer, and they had no extra boxes at the back, grrrr! I got myself a couple of extras for display since I still don't have the budget to get the full set I intend to get. Will likely be checking local stores this weekend for the policeman.
