  1. I sended the email just now, took a little longer thanks to the internet provider calling me about the complaints I had so far. I'm going to try to get it on a special page and posted on my own website. ill keep you all posted!
  2. I understand WHY it's still blanc. &!#$^@^$% Brickshelf decided to delete my pictures in that folder! I am going to send right away a angry email to them since there was nothing wrong with those pictures! Ill get them on my own website as soon as I can instead.
  3. Thanks to my parents neer giving me the sets that I needed the most (and yes I usually got the smallest sets and usually contained pirates only) and the fact that the Pirate line stopped, I really did not have enough red coats nor spanish soldiers. So trying to get the balance between pirate and red coat more up and specially getting more buildings for the red coats, since I had none in the first place. 6 red coats against 40+ pirates is kinda over kill, dont you think?
  4. though i was pretty clear, but ow well: look carefully to the image of set 6242, you will notice a fortress in the background. Knowing LEGO, this may be a hint of what is about to come. So that is why I am waiting for that. I have a feeling this new fortress will be released somewhere in 2010, but also that it is modular just like set 6242 is. So you should be able to link them together when you have boughed both. Picture of fortress The other thing, is I noticed a ship in the back ground of the new ship (set 6243) picture of ship This could mean that there will be a new ship released in 2010 as well, most likely a red coat ship with 2 sails. This ship looks way different then the pirate ship as well, so hard to believe it is the same. (both are better visible here) Euhm... during my search for pictures to clerify i accidentely found some interresting pictures! Ill post on my brickshelf as soon as i can, trying to find more! EDIT: I added the latest 2010 pics that I just found to my bricklink page. click me to see!
  5. I used that idea indeed to create the big fort in the back, however I am not that happy yet with the design, so there will be a update! the picture shown now are actually 3 modules instead of 1 big one. UPDATE: I just finished a fourth module and this one is just uploaded! So the Bricklink link needs to be released again! Please keep checking!
  6. Wish to be a V.O.C. member, but that isn't a option at the moment yet. So I guess that will have to wait
  7. check the PDF again, it really doesn't load propperly and takes for ever to get visible (even caused almost a crash on this side)
  8. Vig 83b Hi all, I was working on some new add-on sets for the new pirate set 6242. So far there are 3 add on modules which I posted on my brickshelf account 6242 addons on Brickshelf ALL have the same base as the modules from 6242, but unfortunately i could not find the propper wall panels since in MLCAD these panels are not yet added. I did add in a few figures to show the size of the modules.
  9. why choose either? I rather choose Pirates!
  10. backpacks need to be added i say, it is a different backpack and it still adds to the old time value. However, I wouldn't mind having belts and bandoleers for the weapons instead!
  11. OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG *gets hyper* OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!! wish it was on PC as well tho, but anyways, I already had a feeling the blue coats would be back since it used to be a big part of the original pirate theme. But perhaps they will add a merchant faction to the series now as well. The original series had already a ship with it's own sail that was for merchants, so wouldn't surprise me if that came into play as well!
  12. specially great for the French and Brits, but may just as well be good to have a special pack to get that...
  13. Currently Pirates, But i try to get a army of (Dutch) V.O.C. crew along with ships and harbors etc.
  14. i'm waiting for the fortress hiding in the background of set 6242. I'm suspecting that would be a modular fortress which can be added to 6242. While 6242 will be serving as docks, the fortress will be a true fortress... at least.... thats what i am hoping for... In the instruction manual (book 2, almost on the end) for 6242 I see a ship on the back ground as well, 2 masts and looks different then the new pirate ship. (new red coat ship???)
  15. Since the new Pirate theme came out, I boughed a lot already. 1x 6242 1x 6239 1x 6243 40x 8396 20x 8397 Wanted: 3x 6242 (1 will be boughed this wednesday) 9x 6239 1x 6243 60x 8396 2x 6253 2x 6240 2x 6241 I do however own a lot of the old theme already, so in man power: 10 Spanish (including 1 Governor) 48 Red coats (including 2 Governors) 60+ pirates (including 6+ Captains) 20 monkey's I do not have blue coats unfortunately and unfortunately there are no official Dutch sailors in the theme either Dutch sailors can however be created by using pirates and spanish troops and for officers use the new red coat Governor!
  16. Thank you and no problem! I am thinking of adding more nice small things like the water pump for ships. When I have something Ill make sure to keep everyone posted! I used alot more things like this water pump on my ships, so wouldn't be a problem to find out new things!
  17. o0o, that sounds just perfect! it's about time they did that! finnally quality stuff for less :D
  18. Thanks :) Yeah the website is more difficult then I had in mind, I am working on a total remake or a new look. So yeah, been working on that already. thanks for telling me tho, now i know that it's more urgent then I thought. ;)
  19. yeah I know, I don't like too many buttons on my screen so kinda not wanting to go there :p Besides it doesn't show individual persons etc. (not that the one I have now is any different...) Ow yeah, got my own forums working again aswell. Just made a call to my provider and had to act really p-off before they were willing to give it back, anywayz. will find info there aswell over time as in quick info. (no, not ment as promoting it so people leave here)
  20. Thank you for your input, I really apriciate it! River guards - Yeah there are more coming later this year, not sure when though. just wait and see ;) Pirate Watchpost - It was indended to be somthing as the official sets from the first pirate series plus to add a little extra tough. It wasn't ment to be more then that, I wanted to keep it simple but good in usage for everyone. River Outpost - Thanks! About the figures, Next update will have the figures and the instructions on my website, so keep checking and you will find out :) Water Pump - Thank you! Hope you will enjoy it! Secret Cave island - This set was made around 4am this morning just before I went to bed, so kinda rushed it. For the website update I needed 1 extra pirate moc and this was the one being added. I will think about the wrecked ship idea, thats indeed a good idea! The Castle Project (huge) was actually a real big project that was planned, but unfortunatly I had to stop it and restart from scratch. So that project is halted for good, version 2 of the project hasnt been worked on for over a year almost but so far not cancelled. SCOOP: I am working on a Brittish base type moc, only details I can give so far is that there will be a small harbor... SCOOP2: I am working on a big castle of atleast 4x 32x32 baseplates sized, this will have a armory, prison, blacksmith, but more details so far unknown even to me. Keep checking my website for information when it's released :) EDIT: yeah would be easier Mister Phes, only thing then is that I won't see how many people been checking my site out :p
  21. Vig. 52b Hello people, I updated my website again and added 5 pirate models this time! Also the pirate theme is a complete new theme for my website! Don't worry, as usually I done everything in English and Dutch! Medieval stuff: - Kogge - Kamper Kogge - Target Dummy - Bridge (5615 + 5615) - Small Castle Pirate Stuff: - River Guards - Pirate Watchpost - River Outpost - Water Pumps - Secret Cave Island Ofcourse there will be more soon, working on several projects for both themes! DS9-LEGO website (some people seem to get lost on my website for some reason, so here a quick way to get to the right pages: go to "Own" in the menu, then select "Models") Tell me what you think of these mocs, any input would be nice aslong as it's usefull Or perhaps you have some ideas that might be fun to add to the line.
  22. still no pictures
  23. euhm... I start to think about me getting offended, I posted that just BEFORE it got moved. Beside when I posted it I noticed more simular posts which included for example pictures of non-lego items. I think personally it's very handy to have a website (even if it's in a language you might not be able to read, it aint like it's japanese or something) that shows good sized pictures of ships that actually excisted and in some cases showing even multiple views. These ships are not only Dutch builds but also English, French, Spanish and even American ships. Only difference is that these are the Dutch names and in most cases even orriginal names, like 'clipper', it's 100% Dutch word, nothing American or english about it. There are many more examples in there that have this, so please stop complaining and enjoy the info. LEGO building is not only about the build if you talk in history, but also the research. That means that you might have to do some translating, if you can't translate for some way (or just to lazy to get a free online translator) you could always ask the Dutch people on this forum to solve your problem. Another thing is you added something about flemmish, sorry to say but there is nothing flemmish about that text at all. it's 100% true Dutch, flemmish is more Dutch/French. Or like some say bad Dutch. (no offense ment in this tho, just saying what alot think)
  24. looks a little too long, but its sure a great version! Perhaps make it more looking like a real barjonet. But other wise, i love it!
  25. I prefer the old map, this new one is too ugly
