Finally! new animals! it's about time LEGO did that! These specific animals could be very use full as well! Ostrich farms and camel farms for example! Finally Ill be able to create a desert going British platoon for the pirate theme!

Well, i sure would love to see something like this happen for real as well. although each model on it's own should be a seperate set, the new big fortress should be solde as 1 set instead of separate module sets. If anyone has some ideas for other addiitions to this project, please do tell! I can see what i can do for you. note: some parts are not yet added to the MLCAD library, so please be patient en know that not everything can be made as wished.

Never really did torsos, but I could try it out. For the new flag type, well... besides its flexie now, I could try to find a way to get that on there. anyone has a scanner and those new flags? If so, please do scan them for me! Then I can create a special pack for it. (finding a picture of it is usable as well, as long as it's not a angled picture) I will be creating a second pack soon for pirate flags, but not sure what flags to use so far, i was thinking of using real pirate flags. Any requests? (picture/link may help out to get it faster done!)

well, in that case you just need to find the correct masts for your project, and this can be project specific. So choose wisely in this. Best way is to try several things in this so you can see what is best for your project.

hmm... good point, i can take a look for you. Had anything specific in mind? The MLCAD files are .DAT files, you could try to use this with other programs as well. or at least tr to Anyways, let me know what you had in mind!

Also for trains i made some stickers for MLCAD use! ill add ALL pictures since there are only 5 different logo's. Each logo is from excisting companies, this way you can create your own train for that specific company. As I already said in another topic, i was working on some new stickers for MLCAD! There are 3 new packs ready for download! Since one of them is train related, ill post that one on the train pages. Unfortunately I do not have the money to buy more bricks Anyhow, the instructions will be released as soon as I am finished with the entire project! They will end up on my website as download, for easy usage. Containing both the MLCAD files as instructions in picture form! A quick calculation for the new fortress, it should end up with about 16 cannons on the same floor. Perhaps ill add some wheeled cannons on the bottom floor as well! Quick Update: I am working on flags for MLCAD! - Imperial Guard flags (holds 3 flags so far) - Pirate Flags (so far 2 different flags, each 3 sizes) For the trains I am finished with a nice pack with stickers as well, but ill create a post just for that soon! You had to ask huh, hehe. well okay then. But I not not get you quality pics since how smaller you make them, the worse they look: AND NOW! Something that I am working on right now! Remember, this is just a test picture that helps me out working out the slight problems I have with the model at this time. It is the Star-Fortress I was talking about, so far i completed 4 towers and 2 of the 6 middle parts for the main structure. I am working currently on the 2 other corner parts which should be ready by end this week with a little luck. The 2 middle parts left are the ones with doors and dock parts, this will be updated when I have done more work! THIS IS THE FIRST PICTURE EVER AND NOT EVEN PLACED ON MY OWN WEBSITE YET! Yes, I am aware of the right part not fitting properly. As I said i am still working on it! The part was added to see what I needed to do to get that fitting as well.

Well, there are a few factors you should take in concideration. For example, what size would your ship be? And what is the widest part (stud wise). You can place a mast that is 2 times as long as your ship, but this wouldnt look that good nor is it efficient for sailing. So you should be save with the full length of your ship to a maximum of 1/2 extra length. For bowsprit you should take no more then half your ship lenth as maximum, but even that may be already to long in some cases! So basicly you should buy a lot of material in advance before you start out, just in case. Also do know that the new pirate line does NOT have the same masts as the orriginal theme, so take note of that and study these parts in advance! where the new Pirate theme uses about 2 mast parts max, the old has 6+ different parts! So do check the masts out just to be sure! Also the rigging comes in different shapes and sizes! For Sails this counts the same, also a lot of different sails to go with, but you can always create your own sails! Creating your own sails usually can be done by using official ones and use the outlines of that to draw your own sails on cloth, paper, or what ever you wish to use! To make it look older and more worn, you could rip open the coffee pads and use the stuff to lay your new sails in. let it dry for atleast a full day and your sails look old and worn! Creating your own rigging can be done several ways, you could for example use only thin ropes and try that out. But you can also use some sticks as thin as lego bars (like the light saber bars) and use those as horizontal parts and the rest thin rope! Creating your own masts will most of the time fail since you will not have a mountage point for them unless you start melting your own masts in plastic and experiment with that, best way is to study the masts and get some of that. Check here to find official buildingplans for your ship, they may help out with your first ship

Great island! The detail is wel thought out and lots of nice new tricks to use! I saved almost all pictures to study them further, perhaps I can use a little in one of my own projects later on!

last few years LEGO gave out hints like that more oftenm hiding coming things for later that year, or the next year, in the background of such pictures. Actually this isnt that new either, LEGO did this already with Starwars LEGO in some form and the Castle theme
