  1. Same, I've been a fan of the deep-Legends Imperial Army lore for years so was really happy when they finally made an official Army Trooper in the form of Han in 75211... then proceeded to never make a battle pack (would've loved a pack with 3 Army Troops and a Mimban Stormie) or even release them in a single other set. I did grab 30 of the torsos on Bricks and Pieces back then and combined them with AT-ST driver heads to make a group of purist custom ones, but would love some proper official ones. I agree with wanting a minifigure in the midi sets too. Would've been great to have got Ozzel or Piett in the Executor. I am slightly biased though as someone who generally has no interest in sets which aren't system-scale. Tbh, while the Executor and Invisible Hand would've been good opportunities for hard-to-find figures, the Falcon and Tantive probably would've just had Han and Leia who wouldn't have really added much to the set with how common they are anyway.
  2. Unfortunately probably not, at least not in the near future as he's the anniversary figure. There's a chance he'll end up not being too expensive as some people might buy multiple skiffs to recreate the full scene, but with how overpriced the set is perhaps not.
  3. Peridia looks... alright? Wasn't a fan of the Ahsoka show so just gonna Bricklink Thrawn. Unlike some people here I actually think the 2017 one is the most accurate version of the skiff (2012 one doesn't have the nice railing or space for more figures in the front) and this set is basically the 2017 set but with a pile of sand for nearly triple the price. As with the dioramas from the past couple of years, this could've been a $30 set if you get rid of the unnecessary parts. I've already got 3 of the 2017 set (and 3 2012 ones- they were pretty common in bulk lots I guess) so no desire for this new skiff. That said, I actually might see if I can get a cheap Sarlacc on eBay since some people will no doubt buy 2 sets to get another skiff and not need the 2nd pit, and I do like that it's a bit more built up than previous ones (but would gladly sacrifice this for a lower price, and even WITH the bigger pit the set still doesn't feel worth it). The Boba is absolutely inexcusable. They've shown they don't care about accuracy over the past few years (Hoth Rebels being dark tan instead of white and grey, Snowtroopers having dark tan hands for no reason and not having backpacks, Rebel pilots all having the same uniforms when Snowspeeder pilots should be different, many more errors and let's not address the elephant in the room that is all the issues with modern Clone troopers) but this Boba especially is just terrible. In terms of detail the mech figure was already a downgrade as it uses a simpler design for the torso and arm prints than the previous version, then you add on the pauldron beimg missing AND now they don't even have the colours right for the RotJ version, which they managed (albeit with no arm printing) back in 2017. Lifelong Boba fan here. I can assure you I was familiar with every inch of his different suits by the time I was 9 lol. As for the rest of the figures, Han looks fine (aside from the mirrored torso but whatever. I like his new face print and as has been pointed out he was mirrored in a couple shots anyway). Luke looks great but if I get him I'll swap his hairpiece for the old one. As I have a couple of the 2012 version I might not, though the leg printing on this one is nice. Lando is fine but his legs look a little too dark- would've benefitted from tan and dark brown dual moulding I think. Chewie didn't need to be here. Should've been a skiff guard (especially since there are still so many named ones we've never got, including two from the skiff carrying the prisoners). Nien Nunb looks great so I'll probably try to Bricklink him (not looking forward to the prices though). Yeah that scene is mirrored for some reason. Same as the one scene in Jabba's Palace where Boba is mirrored. The shot where the Weequay tries to push Luke off is mirrored too.
  4. Really hoping for this- it was a bit disappointing that they gave Rey a green one in the Christmas set last year. I'd like them to release a set with one in, then put the piece on PaB since lightsaber blades cost 8p each on there (they aren't too expensive on Bricklink but still would be cheaper to get them on PaB, and I find it easier to use than Bricklink).
  5. True, though I do find it pretty irritating that they can't seem to ever get Vader right. The original 1999 Vader is accurate to RotJ, and the Rebels one is accurate to Rebels. I'm pretty sure every other Vader figure they've ever made has been inaccurate in some way, due to being hybrids of various designs. Wish they'd try to get him right. That said, the differences in Boba's armour sets are much more apparent.
  6. I really hope you're right. As a lifelong Boba stan it'd really suck if they reused him when we've never had a fully-detailed RotJ version before (the only RotJ-specific version we've EVER had was in the 2017 skiff). Also, he'd better have his cape. Not including it in the mech set was already bad. Some people go with the pathetic excuse of it not being able to fit with the structure of the mech, to which I say 1) they did it with Vader's cape and 2) if it really is an issue then just design the mech differently to accommodate it. There would be absolutely no excuse, not even a lame shill one as with the mech, for him to not have it in the skiff set.
  7. Looks like no "evil Chewie" which was originally rumoured. Wonder what happened with that. Luke and Dev weren't on the original list so maybe one of them somehow got confused for Chewie if it was a low-quality image the leakers saw?
  8. Yeah those guys are absolute scum. The day the ISD was revealed all the 'cheap' ones were bought up in bulk. Someone bought 60 of them at £5.88 each in a single transaction. Pretty obvious what the intention was there.
  9. Yeah he could have been in an RotJ Falcon or a Home One set, or as you said put in with a starfighter like how Lando, Ackbar and Han have all been included with A-Wing sets. Could've replaced his anniversary slot with some other popular character, I believe her name was Mary Jane? Eh close enough.
  10. Vader's had arm printing in every set for the past 3 years. I see the 25th anniversary banner but I'm pretty sure it's still a standard issue of the magazine. If it was a bonus issue then surely they'd advertise the next standard issue on the back page, not this one?
  11. Just seen on Reddit that one of the next magazine gifts is a Vader minifigure (as if anyone needs him at this point with how many sets they're using the same figure in- as a sidenote if Vader's going to be in every other set they could at least start making different versions to be accurate to his different appearance in each film). Looks like it also comes with a little storage tin which could be cool though. So we still have no idea of when Sabine will be coming.
  12. Yeah the specialist was a weird choice, especially since the battle pack has been discounted loads and as you mentioned they've put the price of the magazine up to the point of it barely being worth it even when it's a good figure sometimes. Can't wait for Sabine; I'm gonna get quite a few of her to be stand-ins for female Mauldalorians. Surely it wouldn't work with the current mold though? The dual-molding for the mouth just wouldn't fit at all. I think FO Stormie or Range Trooper are the most likely Ah true! Forgot they put the Sith Trooper in the advent calendar the year after TRoS. Definitely possible (and they've brought molds like the Gamorrean guard back after much longer breaks, though I suppose that's a little different since those were specialised molds while this would be a reuse).
  13. Definitely a good contender for the shape, though it was last made in 2019 so I wonder if they still have the mold available.
  14. 100% agree with all of this. The coloured eyes were a mistake when they first started doing them back in 2013 and I wish they realised and stopped back then. The only characters who should have anything other than the plain black eyes with a white dot are Sith (who should have yellow with black pupils) or special cases like Chirrut to show that he is blind. The only other one I'm ok with is Thrawn since his red eyes are a prominent part of his design.
  15. Same. I see a lot of people on Reddit and so on mocking others for raising this as an issue but code cylinders are part of the Imperial rank system and should be represented properly. They managed it with the previous Thrawn and the 2016 Tarkin.
  16. I'm hoping they keep it reasonably realistic; same as how they did the handprints for the Uruk-Hai and Mandalorian Supercommandos.
  17. Yep, plus an extra for Zsinj maybe. Very happy with the new Thrawn overall. Glad they got the rank plaque right this time and I prefer this skin tone to the previous one too. The missing code cylinders are unfortunate but the plaque is more important to me. Not a fan of Ezra's eyes but we already knew he was going to have them. One thing to note is that the leaked Ezra has the wrong hair- could Thrawn potentially also have some parts wrong? Obviously the torso and head are right but I guess there's a chance he could actually end up having plain white non-dual-moulded legs, or the dark-blue hair of the previous version.
  18. I'm definitely on the side of it being a droid. Neck seems too thin and the mouth too narrow to have a person under there. Looks a lot like a stripped-down KX-series droid to me.
  19. Think that only applies to the one in the 2018 starfighter though right? (And even then it was still another pilot headset version)
  20. Yeah Anakin has always been surprising hard to get hold of (TCW figures don't count lol), especially without the pilot headset.
  21. I'm more disappointed with his head. Looks to be the same print as the 2013 one with yellower teeth. Not even a 2nd facial expression.
  22. Solid Brix has a review out. Not watched the whole thing yet but I'm a bit disappointed that the Mouth of Sauron has almost exactly the same head as before (just with yellower teeth). I was really hoping he'd get multiple facial expressions since that's basically what he's known for and the crown would easily cover an alternate face.
  23. My thoughts as well. I really hope we get a small Orc set since this is the first time we've ever got proper Mordor Orcs and it'd be a shame if they're locked behind something which is unobtainable for most adults, nevermind kids.
  24. I'm happy with the Orc figures. One of my biggest complaints about the original sets was that they just reused the Isengard Orcs for everything instead of making proper armoured ones. In that regard, though, it's a shame that they've reused the same Sam and Frodo figures from Rivendell. Also not a fan of the new Gollum face. I hate the glowy eyes they've been doing on some Star Wars figures and it doesn't work here either.
