Honestly I disagree. I'm an adult but have absolutely no interest in large display sets (e.g. large creatures or the Star Wars helmet sets; I certainly wouldn't buy the large Gollum suggested above) and find that the diorama sets have so far been ridiculously overpriced, essentially a £25 playset stuck on a black base for triple the cost. For a theme that hasn't got fully set up yet, I think focusing on these overpriced sets would kill it. Just give us the £25 playset and the collectors can add their own black base if they really want to.

Same- I'd be really annoyed if they locked them behind a super limited GWP.

The issue there is having the black pauldrons. I had a bunch of Sandtrooper commanders which I've been trying to turn into normal troopers and those pauldrons aren't cheap. Would love for them to be more accessible through a battlepack. -

Yeah same. I really like the interiors of ships/bases (one of my MOCs is of an ISD's bridge room) and have been really happy with the Dark Trooper and Tantive IV hallway sets so was hoping for something like those on a larger scale, not to mention the chance of an updated Tarkin (currently my only Tarkin is the 2006 version) and other named officers. I've already got the 2014 Star Destroyer so will probably just use Bricklink for Praji and maybe some of the new heads from the Imperial Crew figure (I mentioned my ISD bridge- I could use some different faces on all the crew I have in there). -

Oh man, now I think about it we're probably going to get an 'evil' Rebel pilot and a 'good' TIE pilot. So much for all the hopes of a new OT pilot figure (though I guess they could still use the same helmet as one of them). -

New trailer on the Star Wars YT channel for a LEGO animated "what if" style series. Shows Jedi Bob, the Evil Falcon, Darth Jar Jar and some new characters which might be the ones that couldn't be identified before. -

Honestly quite disappointed with the Star Destroyer. To begin with, I think the 2014 model was much better. For this new set the outside looks sort of like an upscaled microfighter (does that make sense? I'm talking about how the front of the ship seems quite squashed) and the interior feels a bit messy. It also only has 7 figures vs the 12 rumored, and among those figures Cal doesn't look great and Vader is still the weird hybrid design rather than an actual ANH version. Literally the only things I want from this set are Praji and the new facial expression for the Imperial Crew figure. -

Was the ISD even in the animation style? Looked to me like they just shoved the model from Rogue One in there. -

Yeah I agree. These Mandos taking their helmets off was kind of a big deal in the series so the fact that you can't do that is a little weird. -

Solid Brix has reviews up for the two Mandalorian sets. They look good but the Paz vs Gideon set is definitely too much money. Also a little surprised that none of the figures in the BP have faces; they all just have plain black heads. -

Here's something that'll blow your mind: the UCS Slave 1 Boba Fett torsos were also on there back when that set came out. One of my biggest regrets is not buying dozens of those. I did buy a lot of the Han Solo Mudtrooper torsos from 75211 a couple of years ago though so I could have a nice group of Imperial Army Troopers. They were selling them for 71p each. -

Yeah I've hated them on every figure that's had them so far. Hera, Ahsoka, Barriss- all of them just look so weird and bad. I actually can't decide whether I prefer them or the old CW eyes. -

Very happy about this! I've been hoping to get a few of that Sabine figure to use as generic female Mandos so this is perfect. Glad she includes the helmet too, they were pretty stingy with her helmet in the old Rebels sets. Remember in Charlie and the Chocolate factory when Slugworth wanted to get an everlasting gobstopper early so he could steal the design and undercut Wonka's market? Yeah, that's why. Also if a set leaks and then gets cancelled for whatever reason it could be bad PR for LEGO if it's something people were looking forward to. -

Shame about the Weequay but at the same time hopefully that means we'll get a guard they haven't made before, maybe Vedain (and they could reuse his face print for other Nikto guards in the UCS Sail Barge). -

Unless that turns out to be the young Leia set and the whole thing of her coming with a big creature build was just wrong? (assuming they didn't mean the sarlacc when they said creature, which I doubt they would) Death Star sounds great, probably my most-anticipated set this year aside from the UCS Sail Barge (and Barad-Dûr for LotR). Hopefully one of those officers (or one of the unknowns) is Tarkin. Do we know if Cal is one of the 4 unknowns or if he's in addition to this list? (so 11 or 12 figures in total) -

And it specifically can't be used for the GWPs. Absolute madness. I'm quite happy to wait a few months for it to inevitably be discounted at some other retailer (I will actually cry if it ends up being an exclusive though). -

If the GWPs are AAT poly at £35, Yavin coin thing at £80 and Droid Carrier at £145 (change currency as appropriate), what about that 25th anniversary logo keychain that was also leaked? Presumably it's a GWP for something else, maybe the Sail Barge? Or perhaps an Insider Points redemption, though I couldn't see it with the other May 4th stuff in the rewards centre. -

100% agree with all of this. The price threshold for May 4th promos has become absurdly high to the point that I've basically given up on ever getting even one of them, nevermind multiples. To have a set which many people want multiples of locked behind such a barrier is ridiculous- things like Darth Revan were interesting figures which you'd only want one of. While I still don't like the way he was locked behind a promo, at least he made sense as a character to choose for such a promo (and this was back when the threshold to get him was £50, not £150- absolutely mad). -

Ugh, in the fine print of the May 4th promos the new book is specifically excluded from the thresholds. It's pretty overpriced anyway so I wasn't considering it too seriously, at least not without a discount or promo of some sort, but it was a contender to get for the GWP. I wouldn't read too much into that- it also has figures like the original Cloud City Luke and Zam Wesell with flesh-toned heads. Doesn't mean they're being made. (We're fairly sure Jedi Bob is coming, but it's probably just a coincidence that he's on this poster.) -

Same. With all the discussion of Night Troopers, Incinerator Troopers, and so on over the last couple of pages I keep having to remind myself that even if they do get made I won't be buying them unless they change the helmets. At least with standard Stormies I can get the old helmets on Bricklink or wherever, but for these new designs that isn't an option. -

Yeah that'd be good. Both Paz and the Armourer had their visors printed weirdly low down on their helmets in the forge set. -

If they did 2 or 3 unique full-figures it'd give us a load of possible combinations which I'd be happy with. Ideally we'd get 2 with fully-white helmets, and one with a darker helmet since those are less numerous in the show. Nah if they do make them they'd almost certainly have random faces like all the Stormtroopers, Snowtroopers, etc. we've had over the past few years. They're just normal troopers until a few of them get zombified and even then they wouldn't have any decomposition yet. (Except the Death Troopers we see at the end) -

Tagge or Motti are the obvious picks. For a slightly more obscure one, maybe General Romodi since he also has a brief appearance in Rogue One. -

Source on this? Really hope it's true as I've wanted an Imperial Dropship ever since Rebels S1 came out but this is the first I've heard of it being a possibility.
