  1. Can't tell for certain, but is Anakin missing his scar? We don't have good-quality pictures showing that side of his face in full yet so hopefully it is there. Also yeah the new cockpit piece is inaccurate with how the circular windscreen attaches, and the set as a whole is severely overpriced. I'm liking the Home One but would again need a very good discount. Wonder if either of R7 or R5 will have back print. It really should be the standard (really they should've been doing it for a decade by now) but we know they like to skimp on that sort of thing.
  2. I want the normal officer uniform too, and I also really hope they don't go overboard with putting feminine features on as that'd make it less reusable.
  3. Yeah but still twice as many as the Barge, which also doesn't have any arm prints, has many figures without leg prints, and the only one with dual-moulding made it kind of a downgrade in some aspects.
  4. Yeah it always has been a bit (it used to be the norm that a starfighter included just the pilot, except Jedi ones which also had the astromech and a few Rebel ones which had the astromech plus a little ground crew build if you're lucky) but the lack of battle packs and other small sets nowadays is making it a lot more poignant. And we now have other licensed themes like Harry Potter to compare to. I'm also still not over Jabba's Sail Barge having half as many figures as we got in the Cantina, and the Cantina itself would probably have more figures if it was, say, a Marvel set.
  5. And now I would have to sell both of my kidneys just to get the little cloth accessory they came with. A 1:1 exact rerelease in a cheaper set would make me extremely happy. Give us a long-overdue Mimban battle pack too, and Shoretroopers as well while we're at it.
  6. True, but she still wasn't a unique figure, she didn't include her helmet, and the legs on both her and Luke from the speeder diorama are pretty bad.
  7. When the first rumours came about my first thought was that maybe it's two different people seeing the same blurry image of a Mando helmet with blue on and coming to different conclusions. Maybe one of them wasn't a SW fan and just googled "blue mando" and went with the first name that came up. I kinda hope it's Bo-Katan since then at least the shaping would be different from the Boba and Din ones, though I don't really have a stake in this since I never buy the helmets (or any other non-system stuff except the occasional midi-scale and UCS).
  8. Oh yeah if TLJ had a scene where the main characters walk around in a 'cave' with just oxygen masks and no spacesuits I'd absolutely take issue with it; that's definitely something ESB shouldn't have done (how hard would it have been to give them some sort of suit, or even a throwaway line like "huh weird this asteroid has an atmosphere"?). If we got this and no other Andor sets then I would petition for Denmark to lose it's seat in the UN. I'd really like these two. I love getting civillian vehicles so Mon's car would definitely be a buy for me. One thing I'd change though in the Ferrix Imperial set is dropping the Stormtrooper in favour of an Army riot trooper, maybe even make it a battle pack (though that'd mean no Brasso or B2 ). Also didn't include it in the quote but the Aldhani freighter would be great too. I always love when a set can be reused in a bunch of different scenarios and that's one that could easily be any generic transport ship, and it'd have a killer minifigure line-up. (Throw in an Army Trooper too, or maybe that radio operator that catches them.) I do want a Jabba's guards battle pack, but ideally they'd be all-new characters. I think my ideal selection would be Yotts Oren, Lathe, Vedain and the unnamed human guard from Skiff 2 (the one who's death is erroneously edited in place of Velken Terezi's; he's also the one they based the design of the Palace Guard in TCS on). My main complaint about the barge is the lack of unique guards since all of them are very distinctive in RotJ and many are difficult to make as purist customs. While the ones I've listed are all named characters, they look generic enough to a casual fan and for someone like me who wants all the actual characters, Vedain's torso could be used for another human guard aboard the barge (the one with red trousers) and could also combined with Yotts Oren's head (which would be a reuse of Wooof's) to make a close-enough Klaatu. The remaining parts could also be bashed together to make generic custom guards for some variation.
  9. Yeah fair enough, I haven't even heard of those other 2 you mentioned. It's definitely tied for last place with Rise of Skywalker out of the Star Wars films for me though.
  10. Or perhaps it shows that almost every frame had a mistake to talk about (exaggeration, but there are glaring mistakes AND small ones you have to look closely to catch- both types are bad and to say they couldn't find anything except the small ones is just not true). TLJ is one of the worst movies I've seen. It's a ripoff of ESB and RotJ rolled into one and has a whole lot of scenes that aren't even consistent within the movie itself, nevermind with the rest of the franchise.
  11. Lol I forgot about Fives but yeah he could've been in a TCW set, though at the same time he is a little more understandable since they aren't making as many TCW sets now. The bigger issue with him is the terrible helmet, missing kama and wrong-coloured legs.
  12. Honestly the anniversary figures were kinda weird choices aside from Malak and QT-KT (though she should've been R2-KT). Nien Nunb could be in a RotJ Falcon once the current one retires, or any set of a Rebel or Imperial ship which appeared at Endor. They've made General Lando twice, they can make Nien. Young Leia was not something anyone was really asking for, but she could've been in the Kenobi vs Vader duel set a couple years ago. At this point I think most of us are happy to forget Kenobi happened anyway. Cal Kestis should've been in a Fallen Order or Survivor set. "B-But they don't want to make sets for..." They made BD-1, they can make playsets. The Jedi games are no more violent than Battlefront, and those games got sets. They're certainly not more violent that The Force Unleashed which got 2 sets. Also the Cal figure has a bunch of details wrong since for some reason they based him on old concept art images, despite the game being 5 years old at this point, and that's not to mention him not having a poncho or the BD-1 figure. I guess making things the wrong colour and missing key details is pretty par for the course with LEGO at this point.
  13. I'm always terrified of rubber parts perishing so I really hope they don't, or if they do they find a super durable material.
  14. Hi please build a time machine and travel back to 2013 with a foolproof JJ Abrams disguise, thanks
  15. True! Shame it still has the freaky eyes but tbh they're not bad for old creamy Sheev as he is for the majority of TRoS (of course, this outfit is after he regenerates and gets his pupils back but whatever). I've hated tan Palpatine (Tanpatine? Palpatan?) ever since they started using that design in 2015- I modified mine with the 2008 head and gave him grey hands. I still think my favourite Palpatine face is the Imperial Inspection version but if they fix the eyes on the new design then that could win.
  16. Ugh yeah this is so true. And like 90% of it is probably just gonna be copy/pasted from the 2011 version again, and somehow with even fewer images of the various different versions of characters. Give me an hour or two to read through it and I would happily point out the mistakes free of charge.
  17. The Iron Man helmet, C-3PO statue, Infinity Gauntlet, etc. are done in metallic colours and I think that'd work well if they do ever make a Royal Starship.
  18. Honestly I'd prefer that, rather than having the inner joints and supports showing through.
  19. Yeah his entire existence is basically making clickbait YouTube videos. He does it for LotR stuff too.
  20. Yeah... let's see how this one pans out. Tbh I wouldn't be sad if it does end up being fake.
  21. Fel is in the trilogy, but he never meets Han face to face and it's basically a cameo appearance. I think most of his story is in the X-Wing comics which I have bought but not read yet. Those came out a full decade before Death Star, so it's possible that what you're referring to was either a retcon or is just referring to the family that he doesn't talk to anymore. (I have read Death Star but again it was a few years ago so I don't remember references to Han's upbringing.) Yeah him rescuing Chewie in Legends is much more of an active thing. He gets kicked out of the Empire for disobeying an order to kill Chewie. Anyway, I think we're at risk of becoming Rancor food so to help stay on target I'm just going to add that from Reddit it seems that the Walmart podracer is pretty difficult to get hold of even legitimately. The way it works is that you buy sets then submit a receipt afterwards to get the promo, but a lot of people's are getting rejected for no obvious reason. Also, having seen a few more reviews of the UCS barge and spending more time working on my custom guards I'm still so disappointed with the minifigure count, the details on a few of the figures that were included (Salacious's eyes, C-3PO's leg, Leia's shorts, Bib's lekku, Wooof having no leg printing and Vizam having too much dirt on his torso), and the lack of some obvious features such as that hatch Luke pulls a guard out of while climbing up the side.
  22. Uh, it's been a while since I read A.C. Crispin's trilogy (some of the best books I've ever read btw) but pretty sure that has Han as an orphan living with a Corellian criminal gang. He eventually escapes, then works on Ylesia for a bit before escaping with some slaves and then joining the Empire where he meets Chewie, and so on from there. He does have some wealthy relatives (the Sal-Solos) but he's not in contact with them. As for the discussion on the Tantive hallway, it's a nice set but I would never pay the full price. It feels pretty expensive for what you get anyway even without what I'm about to say, and then you add on the dodgy Fives and Stormtrooper helmets, and for me personally the fact that I already have like a dozen of this particular Vader figure (they should've made a proper ANH version but alas they did not and instead we're still using the inaccurate-to-every-depiction hybrid-Vader) and enough Rebel Fleet Troopers from various advent calendars and the 2008 battle pack to keep me satisfied. I ended up buying just the build on its own for about £15 which I'm quite happy with.
  23. But Pellaeon survived. Just seems weird that they apparently took the rest of the fleet to some random other place that's a lot easier to get back from than Peridea. Speaking of which, I wish they'd tried something new for that in the Sail Barge. Crazy that they're still using the same parts as they did in 2006.
  24. One thing that bugs me about that is that it's clearly implied that the whales took his ship and a few others too, so it's weird that Thrawn's was the only one on Peridia in Ahsoka.
