Jedi Temple Mafia - Day Four
Palathadric replied to Masked Builder's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
But if the scum converted the SK would they be allowed to kill two people in one night? Just wondering... I was making sense, but perhaps not in the way you understood. Euna was obviously against Vos yesterday so the scum, assuming Euna isn't one, could have killed Vos so everyone would suspect that Euna did it. I do not agree with my thesis myself, and I find Euna far more suspicious than trustworthy. It seems odd to me that everything seemed to work out so nicely for the scum that Coryn is the sole witness left alive to the whole "Sherlock" affair, if you will. Even if the scum knew who "Sherlock" was, due to your slip up. How would they know who "Zane" was? Unless it wasn't a scum that killed her. It just seems too coincidental that all this would happen in one night. If the SK, assuming that is what it was, was converted into a townie, please contact someone you can trust, so we can know if we have a vigilante working with us. Yes, it does put you in a bad light, but I have a solution to your problem regarding your revealing that Vos was the investigator. Perhaps, there was no "Sherlock" or rather, let me say, one of your fellow scum was "Sherlock" and now you're effectively hanging labels or "Sherlock" and "Zane" so that you won't be under pressure to yield proper investigation results. Instead of you saying, "We investigate so-and-so and found him guilty," thus leading us townies to lynch him and then, if he's a townie lynch you, to instead not really be certain whether who we are lynching and, if they turn up as town, we won't be certain if we should vote for you or not. Did this make any sense? You and Nahdar were talking about this so I just quoted this one. Why go for Euna? Okay, now she's been acting really scummy and I can so see why we should lynch her today, but what about Monn? I still think he's been alive for far too long. Although, due to her horrifically weak defenses, I do think Euna makes a viable lynch, we shouldn't forget Monn who seems to be slipping under the radar. I don't see how this helps, Euna. Is there any power role ever seen that can know that they are being investigated and kill the investigator? I kind of doubt it, but have any of you seen it? Oh, and the reason I thought C-3PO was a neutral was because the lettering was in grey like the neutral's one is in the first post. I thought that the neutrals may not say "neutral" on their alliance when they died. I didn't know there was a mopper as the scum haven't used that power up until now, but I guess it could be an x-time thing. -
Yep! Great playing with you all.

Jedi Temple Mafia - Day Four

Well, that's odd, isn't it? I would understand if the scum would take down Quilan. It could be that they were trying to frame Euna, but from the holographic images, it appeared as if the scum took down Saesee. I'm actually not too surprised the C-3PO turned up neutral, or so it seems. He is a robot after all. The serial killer really seems to be making his business to knock down the quieter sort. Still, I don't really understand why the scum would kill either of those two. Well, anyway, two more jedi down, and one neutral or something. Still it's not bad figures. Voolvif, or should I call you, "Woof, woof!" perhaps you could explain why these two are dead. Do you have any defense to give for your suspicious actions, or should we already consider you a dead sith? Coryn? Pah! As long as he continues to reveal sith and neutrals to us we can keep him alive, once he stops, then we can worry about him. -
Very nice build, Taz! For some reason I especially like the base!

I finally got around to doing this and it works. Thanks so much, Travis! Oddly, when I rendered the Black Seas Barracuda with this "formula" the computer froze, although it finished rendering. I had to restart, but the image is there.

For some reason piece 2539 gets rotated by 90 degrees on its X axis somewhere between LDView and POV-Ray. In LDView I still see it properly, but when I render the model it comes out the rotated, any idea why this is? Is it just a minor bug with this specific part. I thought I'd mention it. I finished rendering all the pirate pictures with POV-Ray, so I just need to shrink them to the correct size and then I'll put them up here. I'd really appreciate and criques as to how I can make the pictures better. Thanks for all your help C3POwen and all!

"In all honesty, I never thought I'd find a mage who would agree with me in so many areas. It is a pleasure to meet you."
-
Once Rumblestrike is done with his quest I doubt there will be level 1-5 heroes. Actually, I'm still level 5.

"When God takes one of His creatures away from this earth, it is not our duty to bring them back. No one has the right to dabble in such acts even if they are, supposedly, for a good cause."

"Well, you've already met myself, Daxus, Benji, and now Alisha as well. That was our party. Oh, and there was one knight who left heroic in pursuit of some fantasy...funny fellow. He kind of reminds me of you for some reason. I almost felt like our mission was bound to fail. Benji was disappeared in the face of battle often, as I must have mentioned before, with Alisha. A sorry lot they are. Alisha was a nuisance as well. I don't even know why they rewarded her at the end with that great battleaxe. I guess Benji awarded it to her for the "services" she provided him with. Daxus was useless althroughout. Instead of fighting, he went around picking people's purses. It infuriated me but even when I rebuked him for it, he kept right on at it. We fought a lot of undead, and it was incredible to see Alisha and Daxus sitting idly by while only the few of us fought against them. There was one particular demon that was a real struggle, but Benji and I defeated it in the end. The last member of our party was a knight named Leo Aragon, as I mentioned, I believe. He was an odd fellow. Argued obstinately about religion which he seemed to know little to nothing about, but all the same, I am not one to talk bad of others." "Wow, Alisha, I never thought you'd stick up for me. Maybe there is still hope for you after all, but I'm not counting on it." "No, I'm quite fine. Alisha just picked up my cloak with me not in it. She's drunk, I think she always is, so she didn't realize," I whisper. "I'd rather that she doesn't still now, otherwise she may try again." "I'm sure almost every lewd fellow in this hall knows you, scripturally speaking, Alisha. I'm sure some whom you would not even remember. That is just one of the many losses that promiscuity brings with it." I turn back to the elf, as he begins talking again. "That is not a bad thing at all. The world would be far better off without such demons. I do hope they succed in this." "I do not thing you should lump the whole Ziegfried house in with the few necromancers there may be therein." "What is wrong with necromancers? Beware ranger, do not allow yourself to become passive to such evils. You remind me very much of my party leader: Benji. I pray you do not become like him or worse." "It is most rude to enter into a conversation uninvited, but because what you said suits me, I will forgive you this once. It is a very wise approach you take to dealing with necromancers. They should not be tolerated at all costs and I pray that I need not run into any whilst here at Eubric." "Young man, you have a queer fascination for dark things. I implore you to forsake this yearning for the dark side and look instead to the powers of light. Darkness cannot dwell where light is for darkness has no power, it is only the absence of power, which is the light. If you forfeit your hold to the power of light and life, then you leave room for any vile demons and spirits to have their way with not only your soul and mind, but even your body. Beware, young man! Beware!" "Once again, I agree with you, Mage. Ether must not be abused in such an evil fashion."
-
"By 'warden' do you mean Benji the Hunter. If anything he should be called Benji the Hunted. I went on a quest with that warden. He was our party's leader. Didn't do too good a job of it. Disappeared a couple of times when things got tough, usually with the female member of our party. Suspicious fellow and full of pride as well. I don't see how he is 'ruining Heroica' as you put it, but you are free to think as you will until it becomes your time to be judged of God. I do not at all agree with those who use the powers of darkness in warfare. I think the evil will work danger against them. They will be brought down by the very darkness with which they wield, I am sorry to say. I agree with you on that point, rogue. Perhaps, you are not as bad a person as I may have at first thought."
-
"Um...a person who has fought more battles will always have a better eye for warfare. I'm sorry that your attempted kick at me instead hit the table before which I set. You must be in pain. Would you like me to heal you? I will if you buy me a tonic. Honour is not as important as people make it out to be. A man cannot survive with honour alone. Honour is a worthless cause that leads men to their death for no reason. It stems from pride which is never a good thing. Pride is the greatest enemy to true heroism ever. Heroism is unselfish. It's caring for others who are less fortunate than yourself, unlike you who rob from the poor and rich alike to feed your money-hungering appetite. Pride is selfish. Pride is esteeming yourself greater than all around you, or attempting to. It is, as I said, the greatest enemy of heroism. No, I will not defend my honour. As a monk, I do not believe in fighting idle battles for the sake of sport or, as you put it, honour. It is a worthless passtime at best. Now, you cannot just say that the Ziegfrieds are evil. Who are you to claim such a thing so adamently. How can we say that you are not evil and attempting to paint the Ziegfrieds in a less than noble light? And no, I am quite certain that you wouldn't be able to take me in one blow, scum." As I say all these things, I inconspicuously away from the hot-headed rogue.
-
"Yes, I would like to repeat it: Rogues are the scum of heroica. There. You have it. Why shouldn't you fight me? Because you are weaker than I am and wouldn't be able to defeat me in the arena. Besides, I have fought a lot more battles than you have and know how to defeat enemies such as yourself with ease."
-
"Honestly, I don't even believe myself entirely. These rogues...they never change. Let me tell you: rogues are the scum of heroica!" I drop my voice a little so that, hopefully, the two rogues don't hear.
-
I'm great! ...I did think I mentioned such a thing in this thread already...I could be wrong though. Perhaps I could lend my mind to you for a time. I believe, since there is not likely to be much fighting, experieced heroes are not entirely necessary, am I correct?
-
"That's good. I'm a nice cleric too, as I'm sure you can tell." "Perhaps, once you start experiencing life as a hero, you may start thinking differently, young one." "You speak truth. Unfortunatly, the young man has no experience in battle as does not yet know the necessity of clerics...and...um...mages... I'm sure with a bit of experience he will learn the power of ether wielded correctly.
-
Wow! This is almost exactly like something I had in mind.
-
I would be interested in seeing if you have any comments or corrections to make on my comments, Scorpiox.
-
Ooops, that's what I meant. Two of them would make me extra-lucky. I wouldn't receive any damage whatsoever. ...The effect does stack, right? I thought something like this would happen!
-
Preferred the old Jess, but maybe that's just me. I guess I'm not very adaptable, eh? I want a couple of loaded die. ...oh, those aren't carryable artifacts. Two down and only one to go!
-
Ooo, Pretzel's Private Bank opening soon. All heroes welcome to store store their goods and especially their gold with me.
-
Could I get the password to that too. Oh, wait I'm not dead yet. This is not an invitation to kill me either. Good playing, Doc! Now to patiently wait and see what you turn up as.

Steampunk Mafia: Conclusion
Palathadric replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Fantastic game all! I was really hoping that the town would get at least one more right lynch, but, unfortunately, that was not the case. For some reason, I really didn't suspect Pandora, of being scum, but I did, somewhat, suspect both Cornelius Murdoch and Cicilie. Shadows was awesome and I really disappointed to see him die quite early on. I never would have thought of Rick being scum if Shadow hadn't pointed him out. -
"Thank you, I am a cleric myself. I have done no work with alchemists, so I don't know what they're after, but I will keep what you said in mind. Have you met any of them on your quests?"
-
I don't know. I don't really understand what kind of society Atlantis is going to have. Are they fairly modern or very olden day. Will there be a lot of magic and suchlike? Some of the plot seems a bit predictable, but I do morbidly like how the heroes, if I should call them that, are beaten back a number of times.
