Excalibur 2.0: Confirmation and Discussion
Palathadric replied to Bob's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I tried, but it won't let me. -
No wonder Monk Pretzel would prefer you being a Ranger than a Druid. He feels useless in this party!
-
Completely forgot about my favourite Mafia player. Chromeknight you'd better come and join us for a mafia game again soon!
-
When rendering Black Knights' Castle I get an error for part lg_3959 (The Minifig Torch). Does anyone else have a problem with this part as well or know what I can do to fix the problem?
-
Humph! It seems to be one of the favourite classes to merge into when becoming an advanced class though. Or maybe I'm the only one who thinks this. I don't feel like counting now.

Heroica RPG - Quest #42: The Meaning Of It All
Palathadric replied to Flare's topic in The Heroica Archive
"Enjoy this campground? Is that even possible under these circumstances?" I shiver more from disgust than from cold. Nevertheless I wrap my cloak tighter about my body. "If we are doing the wishing game, which is all a big hoax anyway as is obvious, no one would be able to count this pitiful excuse for a fire as one of my wishes. Frankly, I would rather you had...bah! Nevermind. And, no, you may not have a pretzel." I glance at my cart to make sure that it is securely locked. "In the future, I would prefer to fly on my own. This cross of mine can easily keep up with you and hovers along quite nicely. It would save me another highly unpleasant journey tomorrow." "I have many a good story to tell. When I have a good audience to tell it to and the right conditions to tell it in. At present, I receive no inspiration." "Shiny things? Gold you mean? Or other precious gems? Mythril? I don't mind hearing stories of such things, as long as they are worthy stories and not stories that leave one in a permanent state of: " "Ghastly! I tell you. I can only imagine what those storytelling and song-singing nights were like! Drunken org...evenings. Worthless times. I am quite certain that the only reason you found them enjoyable was because you were out of your mind yourself!" "'Peaceful folk who do not die?' Pah! That's a lie!" I snort in rhyme. "You can say that again about your people's creativity...or lack of it, but it is not a bad song. At least it is not downright evil!" "Agreed on that one point. A flute or harp would truly complement you elf." I then turn to Eric. "In truth, I have many interesting things to say. Unfortunately I doubt your ears are ready to hear them. Be it far from me to create strife for no reason. Perhaps later. Furthermore, tales are not all pagan nonsense in my eyes only pagan ones are, such as your own. Clearly there is a measure of truth in it, but, for the most part it is just wild fabrication of a man's imagination. Not that that is necessarily a bad thing, but if you're going to fabricate a tale, at least make it worth the effort it takes to tell it." Nevertheless, just to please you people's ravenous appetite for song, I shall deliver you one battle cry proclaimed by a commander in the far eastern marches of the lands of Ne'ernea I want you to be in my army I want you to obey my call I want you to fight with these, here, weapons I want you to truly give your all. I want you to be strong in spirit I want you to pick up those who fall I want you to charge through the foe I want you to defend Lasmidanyol. I want you to defeat devils I want you to make them fear your call I want you to claim new territory I want you to give them a nasty maul. I want you to be a leader I want you to save the small I want you to win many battles Until the day these devils finally fall I want you!- 892 replies

Bah! All the Level 1's want to be rogues...or rouges.

Speaking of which. Does anyone know if we'll be seeing Rufindel around any time soon. We need him and Maurice back! ...Am I the only cleric at present? I think I am.

My hand feel's crushed. Eric's grip is certainly far above firm. Apparently, he thought I would let go of him. Believe me, I had tried, but there was no way that my hand could escape if vicious grasp. I nurse my hand tenderly. "Definitely must sleep now. Continue voyage tomorrow by foot...please! Isn't there a magic carpet or something that we could use instead of this blue blob! Agh! There is no way that I am going to spend my ether to recover you, the voyage was painful enough."- 892 replies

Massive LDraw parts update
Palathadric replied to Philo's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Ack! Didn't explain myself well, but you answered my question anyway. Meant to ask if they had an All-in-One-Installer containing the new parts update. -
Apologies. Was trying to decide what to buy at the Market place between two more Grand Tonics and another Phoenix Essence.

I pant and wheeze as I hurriedly scuffle over, my cart trundling behind me, jostling on the bumps of the road. "I made it!" I gasp out. Before, "Oh, no, it's the devilish blue guy!" in a more or less unintelligible grunt. I bought two more Grand Tonics, Flare! Otherwise- 892 replies

I rush into the market place, hurriedly picking up 2 Grand Tonics, and tossing a bag containing 60 coins on the table. Without exchanging a word with anyone, I am gone. Portia looks up somewhat puzzled, but is not about to complain, having gotten the right amount of gold. I purchase 2 Grand Tonics. 72-60=12 Gold Remaining. I love living on the edge!

The Unlimited Quest is looking great! Please tell me that we can sell and buy GP to and from others. Good work on the map too! I hate to say this, but those bombs are 10 gold each, so that should be 80 gold spent, not 40.

Everyone give a big hug to Xander! I want that guy on my quest!!!

Massive LDraw parts update
Palathadric replied to Philo's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
I have difficulty finding some things on the new website. They don't have an "All-in-One-Installer" yet, do they? -
I stroll back into the hall, upon realizing that I was to be going "a-questing" again. I seem to be in high demand these days, I smirk. I browse the wears of Gnomeo's Toolshed. "Pitiful amount of equipment," I mutter. "Do you ever restock your shelves. Is this really all you have to offer?!?" I pick out a magnifying glass. "Hardly worth the thirty pieces of gold it costs, but since you can't be expecting any more business today, I will take it off of you. You really must consider adding a greater variety of items to this toolshed of yours. Your variety of items will hardly encourage anyone to purchase something from you. I do not even see how you get the money to rent this stall of yours." I then head over to Portia's Potion Shack and pick out three Remedies. "I will take these for now, but expect me back in the near future. Perhaps for some bombs." I depart from the market having spent 60 gold for a Magnifying Glass and Three Remedies. 132-60=72 gold remaining.

No he has double reason to stay away from the Hall whilst you dwell therein. Khorne and Big Bad Wolf is there anything you think I should buy to prepare for the quest?
-
Thank God that I'll be gone from the Hall by then. Monk Pretzel makes mental note to never be in the hall at the same time as Sorrow...ever! That's the effect Monk Pretzel has on people. He doesn't even need to meet them to convert them. Shhh! Don't tell all the heroes this. It was supposed to be a secret!

Excalibur 2.0: Confirmation and Discussion
Palathadric replied to Bob's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
If the game lasts until Day 10 we dead are going to demand that Bob mod-kills everyone on board Excalibur...and replace them with us, of course. -
If money is involved a compromise can, almost always be reached, but this being my first quest with advanced classes, I doubt that I would have much to threaten you with. Monk Pretzel would prefer you being a ranger than a druid. Druids are pagans like Eric.
-
"Yep, it's wise not to accept that barbarian's offer. He wants to become some kind of Battle Mage or something. I told him it was ridiculous! The amount he wanted to give you for the two items was terrible as well. I hear he likes ripping other heroes off. Not exactly the fellow one wants to do business with." I say, as I hand the 150 gold over to Namyrra and accept the Ethereal Cloak, without looking her in the eyes. I still can't determind whether I like her or not.
-
Thanks, Sandy! Didn't mean to sound impatient.
-
Monk Pretzel is smart, but not that smart! For some reason my mind was saying "staff" and not "wand". Thanks, Sandy! Do I need to wait for Quarryman to agree to my purchase. I met his asking price. Just not sure when he will show up next as I have a quest to go on.
