The States won most of their medels thanks to Phelps. I think it's somewhat unfair that a person invovled in just one kind of sport can win so many medals. Sure there are different styles of swimming, but it is still, to a certain extent, all swimming.

Heroica RPG - Quest #36: The Voracious Vault

"Good catch, Mizuki! We are doing very well, fellows, keep up the good work." Battle Order: Pretzel: Seal Death Progg D Pretzel: Seal Death Progg D (Just in case, unless you think I should go ahead and drink a Tonic?) Daxus: Death Progg D (Front Row) Daxus: Death Progg D (Front Row) Erik: Death Progg D (Front Row) Mizuki: Drink Grand Potion Mizuki: Death Progg D (Front Row) "Also, I don't know if Daxus should attack twice or not. If Mizuki drinks her Grand Potion, then none of you will have any potions anymore and will have to rely entirely on my healing, but it's up to you what you want to do. I think it may be a good idea for me to heal Mizuki though, but I'll let you decide. Also, I'm not sure whether I should seal twice to be more sure or just drink the tonic." -
Welcome, Wedge09! It's always great to have new players. 1. You will probably have to add the picture next to the one already on your signature as opposed to below it. You should then be able to fit all the text easily. If not, you may need to resize the pictures to around 100x100, which is advisable anyway for your Heroica character's picture. Also the health should be written 6/6. 2. The new quests are posted on the first page of the Heroica Hall topic. When new quests are posted, Sandy notifies us in the Heroica Hall thread, so then you just need to check the first page and sign up for one you are eligible for and wish to go on. 3. The quests length is different for each quest. For the most part I would say they go from 1-3 months or so. It's not too time-consuming though if you don't want it to be. 4. No. You can sign up for any quest that is still on the sign-up board in Heroica Hall. Hope you have a great time playing, and I hope I answered your questions satisfactorily.

Suddenly I don't want to be a prophet anymore. People will be associating me with a bull-man. I really like the pictures, though, Sandy. Especially the Paragons. If a hero is hastened and they attack once from the front row and once from the back and receive a free hit, is the free hit taken from the back row or the front? Welcome to Heroica, Raven Brickroft! It's grand seeing more new faces.

Good idea. Battle Order: Pretzel: Seal Death Progg A Daxus gives Pretzel Phoenix Essence (Back Row) Daxus drinks Grand Potion (Back Row) Mizuki: Death Progg A (Front Row) Erik: Death Progg A (Front Row) Mizuki: Death Progg A (Front Row) "Hopefully, my sealing will work! Considering that this is our final battle, I believe, do you think Punii should blow his bombs at some point?" -
Ah, shucks! Too bad, but it makes perfect sense.

Regarding Quest #30: Does Cronk's "Guardian Angel" protect all the heroes or only the ones in the room he is in? I'm sure he's gotten a "Guardian Angel" roll before, but I can't recall the outcome.
-
I'm actually beginning to have hope that we can win this. Let's hope the die doesn't turn against us. Do hastened and encouraged effects remain if a hero has been KO'ed and then revived with a Phoenix Essence?

"Alright, fellows, I tapped into my inner connection with God and He has revealed to me that the real Death Progg is 'A' due to him desiring his SP to be raised by 6 . He thinks he's so clever, but we will prove him wrong. Any comments on the battle strategy anyone?" -
Phew! I thought I was stupid.
-
I don't know if I should ask, and perhaps I'm really dumb in not seeing it, but I have seen no clue whatsoever as to who the real death progg is. Any chance that there is none and we just have to guess or that you accidentally failed to put one?"

"It could be just me, but I can see no indication whatsoever as to which one is the real Death Progg and which ones are just phantoms. Any clues Erik or Mizuki?" In any case the battle order should probably be: Pretzel: Seal Death Progg (if we can find which one is the correct one) Mizuki: Death Progg Erik: Death Progg Mizuki: Death Progg Pretzel: Heal Daxus Can Daxus hand his Phoenix Essence to one of us, or will it take both person's turn for that to happen? -
The old man running away with the Emperor? Please! There's nothing easier than running around that bunch.

"The free hit does not take row into account, but you can go ahead and attack if you like. Would you and Mizuki like to target different proggs or the same?" Battle Order: Pretzel: Remove "Blinded" effect from Erik Mizuki: Death Progg ? (Front Row) Erik: Death Progg ? (Back Row) Pretzel: Heal Erik "It may be a better idea to just wait for now, though, Erik, because if you attack it gives the Death Progg a chance of pulling out his special damage on us and even if you hit him you'll only do half the damage, but it's up to you. I don't know if you two want to target the same one or different ones. Also, if you get a hit against the wrong Death Progg, will Daxus be affected by it?" -
I really like the way that there is no fixed price for selling artifacts, but one must rather bargain. I just hope that it won't get overly frustrating for Sandy.

Reading from the scroll of sealing in an attempt to seal the death progg, I suddenly begin readying what seems like an invitation to a raffle. As I read, I use my quill to make sure that I'm not missing my line. "What the devil is this magic? It reminds me of that 'I've got Z-mail' rub--" the paper disappears whilst in my hands, but not before I realize that I had accidentally signed my name whilst trailing the line. "God no! I've just signed up for a lottery!" PS: Need I say that my sealing didn't come off.

Technically, the sword isn't his as, I believe, I gave it to him on a 30-day trial basis.

"The only hint I can see as to who the real Death Progg is, is that "A" drops one item less than the others, and one item less than the Death Progg is supposed to drop. I don't know whether that rules him out of being the Death Progg or if it guarantees, instead, that it is him. Can any of you see any other signs?" I believe Mizuki should be at full health, correct? Battle Order: Pretzel: Remove "Blinded" effect from Erik Mizuki: Death Progg (Presumably "A" unless you can see any other hints that would lead you to believe it is one of the others, Front Row) Pretzel: Heal Erik "Don't know if you, Mizuki, want to attack again, or whether you, Erik, want to attack at all. In some ways, we can hold back, since your hits will affect Daxus, and just let the poison do the work, while preventing Free Hits, but it's up to you. Also, scan thoroughly if you can see any other clues as to who the real Death Progg is. I don't see why he would lose one of the items he was supposed to drop." -
I couldn't run if I tried. We'll stroll casually away.
-
"Miss Commerz-z-z-z-z, we have taken care of the pests. After you pay us though, there is someone we would like you to meet."
-
No problem. We'll just thrust the pike through his head, then, once the progg leaves, pull it out and pour the Phoenix Essence into his mouth. No need to off the head at all. It's foolproof!
-
"Self Contained Underwater Breathing Bumbling Apparatus" By Hinkley, I believe. For using a double "B" when spelling "Scubacarrot". After all this time I finally get a tag.

I especially like the look of the upper floor. The roof too is quite well done.

"This is wonderful news! Daxus, you lob off Erik's head. Mizuki you locate his esophagus and hold it open. I'll pour my Phoenix Essence into it. Death Progg if you'd be willing to help us out with the pike, that'd be great. Battle Order: Pretzel: Drink Remedy. Pretzel: Heal Mizuki (Praying hard for a miracle ) Erik: Dumps Grand Potion on Monk Pretzel Mizuki: Pours Potion on Daxus Daxus: Attack Progg C I don't know whether or not Mizuki should strike at the Death Progg C or not. Perhaps not. It would be risky if my healing fails, but it's her call. If she doesn't reply in time just say that she doesn't. -

"He thinks he blinded us, but that's just not true. I saw him shift. We need to attack Death Progg "C". I just need to see what manner I can use to remove Erik's blinded effect. I won't be a moment."
