  1. I repeat my attack. "If the situation gets out of hand, I believe we may be able to remedy the dragon," I suggest. "...at least of the fatal poisoning." I add.
  2. If Dekra succeeds in sealing Retraga's Wings, I attack the Rotten Core from the Back Row with the Flying Cross. If he fails, I attempt to Seal Retraga's Wings. I whisper to the others, "I prefer to keep that dark fellow reading in his books. The less his hands are on his weapons the less of a threat he will pose to us, should his true colours show."
  3. Either De'kra should attack the wings if I fail or he should attempt to seal first and then I'll attack the core, because I deal double damage to the core.
  4. Well, yeah, because we are doing next to no damage to these enemies. So of course it's taking time.
  5. I seal Retraga's Wings from the Back Row. "In God's name what is wrong here? Our progress in bleeding out this sickening...glop is minimal at best.
  6. Wait, this is only the third battle. I guess we could have fought Umbra if we really wanted to.
  7. I really wonder what kind of bad megablocks stuff Alexis will be doing in the fields of glory. Flipz, I still don't understand what you saw between Erdathcath and Pretzel, but perhaps Pretzel could use it to his advantage. You know, pawn the Satchel of Awesomeness off of her. The_Customizer has not been around in quite a while actually.
  8. "Hmm, I see. Just make sure you get it back. You know how these creatures can be."
  9. "What do you know? I think that little thief stole it. Are 'heroes' going so far as to steal from other heroes these days? Don't worry, I'll teach him a lesson once we're done with a dragon and give you your dagger back."
  10. "Ouch! That hand cannon will blast the core right open. Don't want to knock it further in. Wouldn't you prefer to give it a short poke and bleed it out?"
  11. I fly straight into the Rotten Core with my Flying Cross (Back Row). "Ewww! The stench!"
  12. "Right. Hopefully this will go a little faster than the last battle. The dragon's hide doesn't seem quite as thick as that of the rock monster. Do you think we will successfully remove the Rotten Core without harming the dragon. It seems unlikely. Besides, with the dragon as worked up as it is, it will be rather difficult. Perhaps we should toss him a remedy, but I doubt one small bottle will cure that horrific, green mass."
  13. I seal Retraga from the back row unless De'kra is successful in which case I seal the wings. "Maurice, my Flying Cross will deal double damage to either the Rotten Core or Retraga's Wings, just so you know." Thanks for controlling Pretzel, Etzel. Such a shame that I missed the conversation with Umbra. My apologies for not being able to get online the past week, JB. My computer was having problems.
  14. Thanks for the great game, def! In the first two days I was just trying to play more or less regularly, but on Day Three I was a bit frustrated and just went down the deep end in trying to be scummy. I'm glad I at least trusted the right person in CMP, even though the information proved 100% useless and ended up getting CK killed again. So CK two games thus far. You also can't say I didn't try to get you killed in Bedtime Story.
  15. 1. Bedtime Story, Jedi Temple, Excalibur 1 & 2, Ragnarok Now, Pearl (still awaiting 2.0), Eurobricks II, for some reason I feel like I'm forgetting something. 2. I think I should be able to do so alright. My internet was down for the past week, but hopefully it won't happen again. 3. What's NA? I'll echo Rick in saying that I'm always vanilla (or the Paranoid Axe Killer ), so it should be no problem. 4. There's been a lot of good ones. Dragmall's manishly not being any man was pretty funny though. 5. Vanilla townies are what make the town the good guys and the scum the bad guys. Without the vanillas it may as well be two rival gangs going head-to-head, just one is united and the other doesn't know who the devil they are. Vanillas are the only ones who can think for themselves with the game host corrupting their minds with exciting night actions. 6. I'll try. I wouldn't base my honour on it, but I think I'll do my best.
  16. Can't get online consirtently at present. Etzel controls Pretzel. Will sleep when he gets chance.
  17. I just realized what a perfect battle this last one could have been for Mizuki and De'kra to really rake in the gold, especially Mizuki. With Mizuki not doing any damage on Shield rolls, but just bringing in the gold, we could have had Maurice constantly healing the golem, although his SP would have done a great job in protecting from any damage he would have taken, while I could have healed Mizuki or vice versa. De'kra and I could also have him constantly sealed, so in the end it means big profits. ...But I'm glad it's over, and many thanks, Zakura.
  18. I ignore De'kra. No use trying to convince the minion himself that it would be good for the world if he were not in existence. I look around myself in the cave and dig with my regular shovel.
  19. I've been awaiting the sequel to that quest for a long time. ...at least an epilogue.
  20. "Death is good if dealt to the right, or shall I say the 'wrong', people. Death to ungodly, unnatural creatures who can hardly be considered "living" is one of the greatest goods attainable. May it be every man's calling to rid the world of evil creatures and villains. Death cannot be considered evil if it is used as a means of cleansing. Evil is the filth of the spirit and mind. but evil has a host; a carrier, if you will; and more often than not one needs to rid the world of the carrier in order to rid the world of the evil." I look down in some shock. "Why, Mizuki, that is most generous of you indeed! This contribution will not go unnoticed. Already your path to Heaven seems secure."
  21. "Wrong, there! Evil more often than not is killing, but often it can be evil not to kill. Again, you are attempting to cloud the mind of those around you. What is this stone to you anyway? Perhaps you want to see this quest end in disaster?" I glare down on De'kra.
  22. "He is blocking our progress. He is evil and a creature of the netherworld, clearly, just like you. All such creatures must be removed. It's unfortunate some like to defend them just because they have a 'hero' label attached to their name. Don't try to sow seeds of doubt into the minds of the party. Whatever seeds you sow, I shall counter with a mighty shovel of truth."
  23. I seal the Lava Golem again. "Good work! We'll get this mega block of stone finished off quickly enough. Keep pressing him!"
  24. I wanted to pick up some ether cores. And now I really see the need to get my hands on one of those healing staffs. It's a bit odd how a skeleton decoy costs 20 gold and 4 bones, when bones are probably more valuable in the average battle than the skeleton decoy is.
