  1. Can't wait to see that. Sorsha has been great and I'm sure you'll make her a lot better.
  2. I nod at the Baron appreciatively. "Always a pleasure to work with you," I mutter, but my mind is clearly on other things. Outside, still clearly distractedly, I query of Wally, "Where would you like me to dig the grave? Or is there already a place you have in mind?" I shake Soryx's hand as I pass out of the building.
  3. You weren't even around the first time. My turn: Argh! Not again, Scuba!
  4. "Zylstra is safe again," is all I can say as I suddenly feel at a loss for words. A few moments later, "Good thing you called us when you did. It seems to have been just in time."
  5. Damn this! I don't seem to be able to get below the surface. I turn and mutter to Em. "I hate to see Wally in this state. The gnomes are too innocent. They don't understand evil for what it is, neither danger for that matter. We did the right thing, but from the looks of the person we rescued...one almost wonders. But some folks just don't know what's good for them. Would Wally have been happy to go back to his shackles? I should think not, but he doesn't seem to understand that our destroying the shades was the only way to prevent such trouble. I love the gnomes. Their purity is astounding, especially since they dwell in the darkness as they do. They seem to have no touch with the darkness and cruelty of the outside world...until now. Such simplicity needs protecting at all costs." I shake my head before heading out.
  6. I love it when QMs link quests together a bit, especially on-going ones.
  7. I too remove the Soul Link Chain and re-apply the Ethereal Cloak. It felt good to be in something clean. I decide to dirty myself by trying to dig with my Magic Shovel again. "Yes, I myself wonder this."
  8. Ouch! Another big hit Brazil's way. I feel bad for them, but they didn't really deserve to get that far anyway.
  9. I collect my other items: Magic Viper Skin Amethyst Shovel Pickaxe 2 Phoenix Incenses (Melvin and Em) I then hand Hybros his 2 Health Cores back. "Let us, indeed. He will be pleased with the work I am sure. 'Avina,' if that is your name, you fought well as did the other fellow in the top-hat. May your path lead you in the direction of light instead of darkness. I suggest you take your leave of us now that your mission has been accomplished successfully."
  10. We did what was right for Zylstra...or whatever. Should have killed those darn gnomes when we had the chance. To think that we could have collected some of The Scar's great loot too.
  11. "You are correct," I say, collecting the Incense. "Good work, Em, if that really is your name, you took more than one hit on that shield of yours."
  12. "Victory!" I sigh, breathing freely. It felt so good...too good. "At last peace is restored to Zylstra again."
  13. "Besides, we were just pretending to want him to live anyway, right guys? It is a shame to see him die though. I like the U'kin.
  14. Wait, The Scar's Veni, Vidi, Vici is protecting us this coming round, right?
  15. "Actually, forget about the sword!" I mumble, although it would have been nice to hold it. I draw the last remaining Phoenix Incense from my cart and throw it into the air. "Em, time to get up!" I look on as the Husk devours the shades around it. "All I can say is thank God we don't have these things running around the city." I chuckle nervously before adding, "I half suspect that soon it will devour itself if we don't kill it first." I then attack the Doom Husk with the almighty Steak from the Front Row. "Let's see what exactly you're made of, demon!"
  16. "Demon!" I command, using all the mind power I can and tugging at the chain so that hopefully it will add something. "Hand me that Sword...you know the one I'm talking about. Give to me now that I can smite this darkness back to hell where it comes from."
  17. I attack the Doom Husk twice from the Back Row with my Steak. Soryx attacks the Doom Husk from the Back Row with the Dual Dastan Axes whilst also hitting Shade A. Party can change actions if felt led.
  18. "Melvin, get a taste of these. I'm sure you'll find them juicy." I throw 9 Cherries into Melvin's open, and gasping, mouth. They were a gift, but who cares? Poor man needs them more than I do from the looks of it. I then repeat my attack against Selanrae.
  19. So Argentina-Netherlands is everything Brazil-Germany wasn't.
  20. It doesn't actually say "only." Items for Mages also say "Suitable for Mages." Still I would like to be sure. How about a Scrap Metal?
  21. Just noticed that Flipz almost got the perfect team, just missing the barbarian and got another mage instead. Are items suitable for Archmages suitable for Prophets too, just like items suitable for Mages are, or not? Thinking, obviously, about the Robe of the Eldritch Archmagi.
  22. "For now, we need to damn this blasted incarnation into tarnation, at least while my Guardian Angel is protecting us. We can revive them later. Besides, the man deserves his rest after taking a blow like that." I grimace. So, if we turn on the Crimson Crown members, can I assume that all those goodies in their inventories will be drops?
  23. "Humph! Guardian Angel, why couldn't you distract Wally at the time it was most needed?" I growl grumpily. "You see how dangerous this machine is? Good thing Em took the hit on the chin like that. We will have to get him up in a moment." I turn to elven abomination. "No mortal is here to protect you now, prepare to fall. May the bodies of the dead rest where they may." I attack Selenrae twice from the Front Row with the Heavy Flail. Soryx jumps into the Front Row as well and Slams his Dual Dastan Axes into Selenrae (Double).
  24. I predicted a big win for Germany, but this I did not expect. Thanks for returning the love, Deutschland! Great that both Muller and Klose got on the score sheet too. I am still hoping Germany will win it overall, being my favourite of the three possible finalists, but I wouldn't particularly be bothered if either Argentina or Netherlands do either. Let's hope that Argentina-Netherlands is as entertaining as this one was.
  25. I attack Greater Shade B, then Greater Shade C from the Back Row with Heavy Flail. Soryx repeats. What is a Topax? Is it a bad-megablocks Topaz?
