Switzerland!!! Superb goal. I'm glad they finally got the winner after the referee failed to award Drmic his goal. Now to beat France on the way to claiming top spot in the group. Goals galore, this has been probably one of the most exciting World Cups thus far even though a lot of the refereeing has been pretty poor.

I cackle demonically as I knock down corpse in a single strike. The sound is almost frightening. "Ack demon, what have you done to me?" Hybros then breaks the machine and everything goes all funny like. I stumble backwards, slightly terrified at first as the machine comes to life, and covering my eyes for a brief moment. I laugh hollowly. "Spawner of demons, you ask about your kin and why we destroyed the shadows within you? What interest would we, creatures of light (at least some of us), have in letting your offspring run free in the world? I revel in your destruction and I wish to see as many of your species destroyed as I may. You call me a monster, but how so, when the beings that I destroy have no life in them anyway? All the life within you is death. Death is not my usual tongue, but perhaps amongst your species it will be. May the shadows learn to fear the name of Pretzel, the ambassador of the light." I raise my Heavy Flail to strike down on the abomination, but then cast a glance over my shoulder. "What do you say? Should we stick around and destroy it now or go back and help the others?" I whisper to Hybros, forgetting in the darkness that my companion is less than human.

I am able to keep up with Hybros a bit better this time as we rush to Junction Q. "Finish that machine Hybros...hey, it kind of reminds me of an item I used on one of my last quests. The Town Watch were using it. I hope it doesn't spawn shades as well. The user was a real creep...kind of like you...just a little worse. Less black of heart and appearance, but more demonic, if you understand what I mean. Take this, devil!" Thankfully, for Hybros, I don't aim my Dual Staff at him, but at the Shadowed Moon Elf Corpse E from the Front Row.

Oh, they were male rogues in the bathroom. I thought they were male rouges. If you drop a Healing Staff on the next quest you host with Pretzel in it, I will forgive you all of your last bad drops. ...The Mythril Mail could count for something to. I love your mind. In other news, I am absolutely convinced that the 100th quest has a party that's well-deserving of this landmark quest. The character interaction has been brilliant. Khorne, it really is great to have you back.

To be fair, I'm pretty sure it was DD who made the Boots of Evasion. I could be wrong though, but I'm pretty sure Eric picked them up in Badger, Badger, Badger.

Goodness gracious. Absolute mauling this evening. Good luck, Netherlands. Payback has never been sweeter! I went into watching this game as a neutral, but after Costa's winning Spain a rubbish penalty I was always going to support Netherlands. They returned my love beautifully.

"Stop, you fool of an imp! Stop, already." Hybros tears through the enemies once again, weaving and dodging his way through them. I am a little less fortunate. "Pardon me, there. Ewww, was that your face? Seriously, I'm beginning to wonder who the bad guys are here." More than one collisions occur in Junction D, but finally I get to Junction I with Hybros.

Any World Cup predictions? Who will take the cup this time around? As always I'm all out for Switzerland...at least a run to the quarters...please! Disappointed in Fred today. Used to enjoy him a bit, but that blatant cheating in today's match has just really turned me sour on Brazil. Olic was pretty magnificent and Oscar worked his megablocks off, but the Croatian goalkeeper was lousy in Brazil's two goals from open play. I'm still backing Croatia though, they were hard-done out there.

Wait a minute, can Mythril be put in artifacts? Think of it, Mythril Shield, Mythril Mail, all I'll be missing is a Mythril Dual Staff...and Mythril Magic Shovel.

Yes, generally, I do. Although when you throw Endgame and Flipz together in the same quest, that quest takes a long time to read usually, still I struggle on.

Make sure that you bold your sign-up or the QM might miss it. If I can get my hands on that Mythril Mail, I am never quitting Paladin.

Heckz is certainly one of my favourite characters to read in Heroica. Most of his interactions are pure gold.

Just as I'm prepared to take a rip at the tantalizing shadowed corpses, Hybros makes a dash to Junction A. I stumble after him, getting pulled along. "Wow! For a devil of your size you really can pull," I gasp out as I attempt to gain a firm hold on my shield. "Eager to embrace the darkness, are you? I'll show you a thing or to."

So wait, if we plant the mirror anywhere so the light can't reach the picbox, will the picbox stop creating Shades or am I missing something entirely. I thought I understood everything, but now I've forgotten what I understood and am left confused.

Very much agree. As JimButcher pointed out. I don't think it would be a bad idea for Somas to stack the Blessed effect. They are pretty expensive right now and very few people even use them, because they are hardly worth the cost. If people were to get some in-quest though, then it would be more useful if they could stack a few.

X-Men: Days of Future Past. Quite a lot of inconsistencies, but I still liked the movie overall. Perhaps not quite as much as some of the others, but it was certainly a helluva lot better than the Wolverine.
