Which 2011 second wave sets are you getting?
Pate-keetongu replied to exxtrooper's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Witch Doctor seems must-have to me. I think it will end up being MOCing parts, but it's a cool set neverthless. The head/Skull pieces look badass. I'll also get Waspix for parts (great quantities of limb connectors) and Bear-stringer. Btlorange/Black is a very cool color scheme and black armour pieces look useful. Unfortunately Stringer has only one black fist. -
Thanks. The mask is from Knight's Kingdom 2 large figure Karzon (released in 2006). I bought it from BrickLink. Fantastic piece.

Here's my newest MOC, Atheon. I don't have (yet) any backstory for him. But well, he's big, dark, horned and winged, so I guess that he represents something evil. Who's bad now? Gallery (when moderates): http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=467981 Flickr: Comments and critics welcome.

Dwarves with bronze helmets are jealous for FOUR dwarves with FOUR silver helmets. Yay free LEGO!

Belville bears are 3 cm tall and 2,8 cm wide, you can tranfer that to studs pretty easily.

Here's my newest MOC, Meta Ridley from Metroid game series: Back: Close-up of the head: The MOC is based on this enemy character: As you see, the wings don't have skins, but the wings burnt in Metroid Prime I and become more skeletal. Also, they would be very hard to MOC. I didn't want to use LEGO's big dragon wings. Comments and critics welcome.

The wizards combine their powers to take over the Evil Overmaster of Evi: The Overmaster causes terror in the city with his Fiery Staff of Evil: The wizard use their elemental magic blasts against the Overmaster: Comments&critism welcome.

A cozy and old cafe where you can drink homemade cafe or hot chocolate and eat home-baked baked goods. The kids are playing outside and there's even the Salvation Army's charity fundraising. The house: Other things: The parents are drinking coffee and watching their kids: Minifigures: The main picture is a bit yellow, but I wanted to give it an "old photo feel". Comments and critism welcome.

A dwarven village with The Golden Pork inn, tradional dwarven sauna and a market: Close up of the sauna, notice the misprint beard with reddish brown blending: The market where all sorts of strangers meet: Gallery of the inn (older version with baseplate instead of module) This is my biggest MOC so far and I made it for Finnish LUG Palikkatakomo's Moducity project for expos and such. Comments&critism welcome.

MOC: He's Benton Destruction, Henchbot for Hire
Pate-keetongu replied to Milargo's topic in LEGO Action Figures
I like the bulkines and the armoring of the body, and the weapons look awesome. Legs are a bit too thin compared to the big body, maybe you should make them bulkier to support the body better? Also, great name and the description card. Well done! -
Thanks everyone! Hurm, go ahead.

Thanks, Decale and Bingo Little! You're welcome. Rorschach's face is custom and Dr.Manhattan is edited, but otherwise these are purist.

Here's my newest MOC, superhero Nite Owl II's flying Owlship vehicle from Watchmen graphic novel by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons. I started making this MOC about an half year ago. I made a little diorama/vignette about the bottom of the river where Nite Owl hide his ship in the chapter 10. Side hatch opens. Interior. The hoverbikes can be seen on the left. Back of the interior. Closed with the sliding door and snowsuit can be seen here. Back of the ship. There is a small top hatch and the roof can be removed. Brickshelf Gallery Comments&critism welcome. PS. I'm not sure does this belong to Sci-fi or Licensed forum. Please move this if I but this to wrong forum!

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 3 discussion
Pate-keetongu replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in Special LEGO Themes
The fisherman is my favourite of these. The new beard looks awesome, I must get loads of those. The sumo and the alien look very unfinished, I suppose that alien's head will change to be a new mold. -
Great month and contest! Even the terrible HF TV program makes me dislike this theme a bit more, Viktor Von Nebula and his hencmen are still very epic. I'm waiting for the giveaways and other stuff. Forum banner needs really more monocles and mustache. It's now very... Incomplete. You should really give Viktor all his important personal stuff. You know, Hero Factory is just american propaganda against Viktor Von Nebula and his men. I will take part of the contest too. Is it the first action figure building contest in EB?

Mod: Evil Space Baron Doktor Viktor Von Nebula
Pate-keetongu replied to Pate-keetongu's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Thanks for the comments, and I agree with the hat. It was supposed to be a bigger and darker colored, but I don't have the parts in right colors. The connection in also harder to doo with dish, because the hat is connected to the head with a TECHNIC brick and a rubber Shadow Leech. -
After I got mentioned in the fronpage with my realistic and accurate version of the famous and evil space baron, I decided to make a topic for it so people wouldn't misunderstand this great charecter. LEGO's version is a great set, but it lacks some important details. After all, can anybody be a space baron without any monocles, a mustache and a top hat? As we all now, it's impossible. I also filled the gaps in the body and the arms. There are also some other minor changes. Then a bit of history of this Evil Doktor. Viktor is an Austrian Aristocrat and son of the famous dentist Hektor Von Nebula. Hektor wanted that Viktor would became a dentist too, but Viktor wanted to be a something bigger. Viktor Von Nebula have tried to take over the world several times, but he hasn't managed to do it yet. He has used black holes, a massive moon laser and huge missile attacks. I have an epic promotional picture coming in few days, but it's a cover for a Great Viktor-special issue in a Finnish slightly Bionicle-based internet magazine and I can't publish it before the magazine comes out (in PDF-format). Comments welcome.
