  1. Well it's 4+ so... Obviously it has a low pieces count
  2. I liked the wave but comparing the amount of effort given to the summer sets of this year I think I prefer the 2024 list
  3. The images disappointed me
  4. Well this upcoming ambulance is a 4+ so who would like that? On one hand the 2024 seems boring and repetitive, I completely agree, only a few new additions and the rest is remakes of older sets, but on the other hand I like the 2024 wave, why? Because looking at the number of pieces on each set and the age rating, these sets seem to be bigger and therefore have more detail. With this summer's wave starting a new era of sets giving more attention to the buildings and not add a ton of vehicles to ruin the size and quality of the building. This time the police and fire stations have way more pieces than ever before in the last few years, and looking at the names of the sets, it doesn't seem these will be kiddish sets with horrible designed water lookalike projectiles. This is just a theory, but I already like this wave more than the 2022 January Wave Edit:basically what I am trying to say is that this wave might continue using the design patterns of this year's summer wave. Therefore being better.
  5. Yeah, I went on brickmerge a few hours ago and they revealed the entire list, we're getting bigger and better sets Also, new topic already created: https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/195694-lego-city-2024/
  6. After a bit of research I have found the (almost?) complete list of sets launching in 2024 -60399-Race Car (4+) -60400-Racing Go-Kart -60401-Road Roller -60402-Blue Monster Truck -60403-Ambulance -60404-Burger Food Truck -60405-Rescue Helicopter -60406-Race Car Transporter -60410-Fire Car -60411-Fire Helicopter -60412-Firefighter All Terrain vehicle with Rescue boat -60413-Fire Fighter Plane/Aircraft -60414-Fire Station with Fire Ladder Truck -60415-Police Car Chase -60418-Mobile Command Center Truck -60419-Police Station with Jail Island -60428-Space Explorer Mech -60429-Space Mission: Asteroid recovery -60430-Space Shuttle -60431-Space Rover 60433-Modular Space Station 60434-Space Base and Launching Facility
  7. I'm buying mine today for 150€ Found a nice deal including the new ice cream parlor
  8. Has someone already bought the Downtown set, any opinions about having it? I am about to buy one for a nice price but I wanted to ask for some opinions about the "big boy" of the city theme
  9. So looks like the 3 racing sets are a collaboration with the 2kdrive game, all of the sets have a wacky design due to the wacky nature of the game. The sets aren't half bad. When I saw the reveal of the game, something in my head made me think if these sets were related to the game, as they were focused on vehicles and both share tuning and modification features, looks like it was true! Now we finally have high resolution pictures of the new passenger plane, looks like it has the same features as the 2020 plane but this time the plane has far more seats, 12 to be exact, it also has a TV and a bathroom and a cargo compartment. The 2020 plane had all of this but the seating area was poorly designed. I really like this new plane and I hope we have a nice airport in the near future.
  10. I saw it but didn't want to say anything about it. The image shows few things, only thing I could see were the minifigs
  11. Here we would usually have 6-8 magazines a year, now it's 4 a year. The weird thing is that these magazines are sorted randomly(like a translated issue made in 2018, then it's a 2021 issue, it's hard to explain) Since lats year there hasn't been any new magazines
  12. Well, thanks to a bit of search I found a better image of the upcoming Passenger Plane set (a wider image of the catalog photo), basically the set includes 3 vehicles, a airport Tug, the shuttle we've already seen, and a luggage carrier. The luggage carrier is a small 4 studs wide cart fully closed on all sides, the vehicle is able to pull 3 trailers: the stairs trailer we've already seen in the first image, a luggage carrier trailer(it's the thing that could be seen in the lower right corner of the image) and a trailer with a elevator to help pick up and load the cargo in the back of the plane, it's smaller than that one from the 2020 plane. And finally.... there's another minifigure that was hidden in the leak.
  13. Well, thank to a German catalogue we got a leak of the Passenger plane set, it includes a mostly white plane, elevated this time, included with the set are a (bus?) and some other assistance vehicles, it doesn't seem to have an airport included (sadly) but the plane seems to have more passenger space. The plane is shorter than the 2020 plane, and has a small cargo compartment in the back, a small 4 stud wide compartment. Finally the tail of the plane looks really different this time as it's posed in a angle. There is no full image of the set. If you're curious to see the set, go to Promobricks instagram page Also there are no images of the 3 racing sets.
  14. That can't be true, lots of stores have the upcoming airplane listed in their website. Also the fact that the 2020 set isn't discontinued yet doesn't mean that there won't be a new plane, LEGO.com still sells the 2018 cargo train and it's not listed as a eol set.
  15. Yes, this new ship includes a brand new vessel haul mold for the front, and it's quite longer than the one of the back, both of these big pieces seem to be the same (as both of them have open backs) except for the front part. I hope LEGO reveals the set at the same time they reveal the June wave, It's a bit strange that LEGO hasn't added anything related to the summer sets on their website and instructions app, but they did add small images in the instructions website (don't be confused between the app and the website)
  16. I don't know if anyone has talked about this but looks like that 66744 set is a pack including the recycling truck and the eletric sports car
  17. Probably because it's included in 60378 and there's only one image of that set
  18. It's a really nice set I have to admit it's really nice to see city starting to look like CITY. Also, I know what I'm about to say won't appeal anyone here but if these designs continue to be used in future sets, I wonder how they will do newer police stationn and fire stations. I would love to see a police station with great detail and less vehicles to not bump the price. And finally... I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE AIRPORT
  19. Sadly they haven't came out yet, after a bit of searching I can confirm the set is going to be released in September, but we might see pics from LEGO.COM
  20. I have too say I'm impressed with the new sets, not only the fact that they don't include vehicles but also the details of the buildings, the big boy 60380 is full of nice designs, I'm a bit disappointed as I was expecting something like 60271 or 60097 but I really like the sets. (the Tuk Tuk included is just a longer version of 60326's vehicle) I like the other exploration sets aswell although I don't appreciate the color that much.
  21. Thanks @LCP! I have to admit that LEGO did a amazing job with the sets they chose buildings over vehicles and didn't had a vehicle to a lot of the sets. The exterior details look really good. It's a shame there's nothing about the passenger plane yet. I don't like the exploration sets that much looks like they share the same colors for both artic and deep sea, the submarine is huge and the Big artic ship might be the biggest for city with a brand new piece for the front, the animals also seem to be really good.
  22. The images are from creator Disney and dreamworks sets
  23. Sadly there's no information about the buildings. COME ON LEGO reveal the sets already! 😡
  24. From all we know, the snowmobile and the icebreaker ship are the only ones with descriptions, sadly it's just about what animals they include. The snowmobile will include the seals and the ship will include an orca.
