Lego City 2023:Rumours,Speculation,Leaks and Discussion
Powered by Bricks replied to Powered by Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
Yes, most of the episodes are focused on the police department, I don't hate the new vehicles, it's just the fact that my pd is so full of police vehicles, I had picked up this year's police car and ice cream chase sets and those might be my last purchases of police sets(focused on the vehicles, I will get some buildings tho, I keep thinking about 60278 :( I know this topic is about 2023 but I did like the police car from 60314 play feature, might be kiddish but it's functional, I do like the ice cream cone suits too. I am definitely going to buy the museum because my city needs one, pretty close to be the only one police set I will purchase, as you said I hope the building is bigger compared to the bank, ngl the bank looks good and detailed but I was expecting to see a 16x16 wide building. I hope to see a bigger version of 60008 museum. -

Well looks like we have our first opinion, thank you for sharing it @Poodabricks, so I guess I will tell my own opinion: -60357-I totally agree with you, I want to get one, I lost the opportunity of getting the 2017 police vehicle, and I almost got the 2018 police plane chase, but didn't get it; I do hope it's not actually 4+ and the plane/jet is instead the 4+ set(I saw the Spiderman vulture heist, it included a values transport and it was garbage), my city needs a bank and a money transport aswell. 60358-I do hope the guy misspelled plane and typed helicopter instead, it would make sense to see a helicopter transport but LEGO had done a few plane transporters recently and it's nice to change things instead of doing the exact same thing for every new revival of a police subtheme, if this is going to be a heli transport I won't get it(I own the 2014 transport, the 2020 was awful) -60362-This one surprised,is this a new marina on flames? Might get it if the set includes a fire boat, city needs one. Also its been 6 years and no fire vessel. This isn't confirmed I know, but If this is true I will get the police and fire big ones, the cargo ship, the tow truck, the money transporter and the rocket transport, these are the ones I'm interested,I'm trying to work on a harbor and a space base, this means I need boats and a bit of structure and also space vehicles, Stuntz is meh but I might get the cheaper sets... I don't want more police vehicles, might get the fire truck, this year had some ok trucks and fire bulldozer sounds weird (that means I'm not that interested in it) -

I've seen it and I've got to say it was a really long comment, the thing is:comparing this list to previous lists this is really close to a real leak, if Promobricks shows a completely different list I'll correct the first post of this topic -

Well I started a new topic about 2023 now, hope I didn't make it a second after someone else started one -

Looking at the piece count of 711 pieces, I don't it's a great vehicle set, but that's fine In my opinion I have to admit lego did a good job with these moon research sets, something more fresh. So... Had anyone started a new topic for 2023, I now know the one I was talking about is no longer open to write replies Maybe in summer, if stuntz is "set to release in March" there's a possibility of having coast guard again, they surprised us with the farming revival after 13 years of long wait, I really want this next summer wave to include more farm sets and coast guard because I really REALLY want a new ship. -

Hadn't they done it? Also I think there is 0% chance of having a D2C with similar looks to town squares being released this year, there's that gwp that haven't been revealed yet, but nothing else -

I'm not gonna lie but I was actually thinking about some of those sets like, the Marina Brigade, and museum heist, as there wasn't a single museum release since 2013 (60200 wasn't related to police) and I was thinking about a harbor fire scenery with a big fire boat and crew and a decent sized building in flames Looking at this list I think it's actually pretty close to be true Edit:more space sets in January? Interesting... -

Hello guys, I haven't said a thing in months and finally decided to post again, I can clearly see people are already talking about 2023 and as far as I know we have 3 sets confirmed -40582 4x4 Off-Road Ambulance-Includes 2 minifigures and a small rescue vehicle like the name suggests, expected to release in February 2023 and it might be a tease for a rescue subtheme to release in February or March(just my thoughts now) -60356-Tbd -60358-Tbd This is everything known so far, the whole list is set to be revealed by Promobricks at the start of September, so we have to wait a few weeks to know the full thing, piece counts, names, details release dates... In my opinion we are getting 4 police sets: 3 vehicles sets and a 100€ building; 4 fire vehicles or something even better;great vehicles with at least a farm related machine;and some road plate-based buildings with lots of exclusive minifigures from the nickelodeon show. Any thoughts? -

I checked the prices on my country's version of the Lego shop and looks like the cargo train is 180€, passenger train is 150€,train station is 80€ and the unexpected 60313 is 40€ -

And maybe we might get another set as there is no set 60334, and the 60313 didn't even appear in any summer list -

My opinion: -Chicken Coop-Bit weird looking thing with a oversized and also weird looking quad, I know that some farmers use quads(I lived in a farm) but from what I see here, it looks more like a beach quad. Also, nice new colors for the chickens! -Vegetable Van-Reminds me a lot about the pizza van from 2017 and that one being my favorite food van. The new plants look nice and the growing function is a good addition, the corn cob pieces look great and the idea of using the old ice cream pieces in a different for the grapes is nice (same for the peppers) -Barn-My biggest disappointment - great idea to bring back the farm subtheme but making the farm a 4+ is really bad, I have to admit the new animals look nice but men, why is this a 4+? In my opinion the idea of farm coming back is nice, it included some new things, excellent new animals, new pieces all that is great but LEGO was lazy enough to do another 4+ farm after that mickey mouse one last year. I hope this subtheme sells well so they can sell more farm sets and maybe a 7+ plus farm with a bigger barn and more detail and even some more new animals(bull, ram, baby goat), it would be way better instead of more Stuntz sets(and better for our wallets) -

Hey guys, I know you are excited for the reveals of the summer sets and we might not have a single image but we do have information about the city cargo train(finally!) The set includes a red train with powered up components to motorize the locomotive, a car carrier wagon, a flatbed wagon and another wagon carrying 2 containers and it's supposed to include switch tracks like the previous train, there might be a car included and a small building too, but I'm not sure about it -

OK guys so a friend of mine that works in a toy store told me about a new set coming, it will be called the City Avenue, a 200$ D2C with roadplates and some buildings and some vehicles The buildings are a post office, a toy store, a ice cream parlor and a park (technically not a building I know), supposedly the ice cream parlor will include 2 workers and a man with a ice cream costume/suit to promote the parlor, the post office will have a 6 studs wide delivery van and a scooter/moped as their respective vehicles. There's also a small bus stop (smaller compared to the school but with a better design) so people can wait for the (included in the set) bendy bus(for the 1st time) and it will be a yellow bus with some signs on the sides, for other vehicles there are a electric suv, a police motorcycle, and a bike. The Park will have some exclusive pieces to celebrate the 90 years of LEGO, a bit like the 2008 Town Plan with a higher age rating compared to the previous Main Square so there is a possibility of more details and less kiddish things -
