I didn't take @Falconfan1414 post as something HP related will be at SDCC. I think it was more in response to the people saying something is wrong if CMF or DA aren't announced by this week. I expect DA to be next monday's reveal in all honesty. If not then sometime right after. I'm totally ok because the piano Idea set is my second most hyped set!

Even better, you need the Mario figure In all seriousness, it really all should be mechanical. I think that’s the entire appeal of the set.

Ok, I ended up asking something I truly want to know, especially for someone who is intimidated on starting big projects. "After research for a set is complete, what is the very first thing you try to nail down in the building process?"

I feel like Azkaban is kinda a boring looking building for Lego. Isn't it just a large triangular tower? Man, I'm still stumped on what to ask them. It's hard because everything I really want to know won't be answered through this VIP Q&A lol

Yea, hate to get into too many politics, but at least you all here have a more level headed approach. I'm in the game industry, which is known for the farther left, "woke" crowd. I'm all for people boycotting HP if they find offense of what JK said, but to think some people are going to sacrifice a major part of their childhood because of some stupid things an author said, which as far as we know have no place in the HP world she created, is a bit ridiculous. Especially when many of us who love HP don't love it for who the author is, that has nothing to do with it really. I'm especially excited for the new Harry Potter video game about to be announced for the PS5 and Xbox Series X, but I've been told I'm not allowed to purchase anything related to HP anymore as that would support her social views... Very frustrating as you can tell.

Yea don't think anyone wants to associate with Rowling rn... I would also love to hear that answered, but considering they probably know all the future sets, they would probably me hesitant in answering that. Maybe I'll ask them how much of London is coming with the micro DA

Where did the information regarding 4000-5000 pieces come from? Or is that just an estimate based on the $400 price tag?

I can only speak for myself, but I would rather the pieces go to the street instead of B&B because knockturn alley is just kinda a bummer. I love the vibrant wonderous world of DA, and that being super detailed is more important to me than the dark and gloomy B&B that has also already been done in the previous DA set. That being said, either option is not an end all be all, just my personal preference.

I don't know man, for $400 I hope we get more than that! Would feel weird to have to buy another $400 set to finish it up.

I mean if you think about it, what other expression could they give Harry? The first one shows the joy and wonder. Maybe like a confused face when Olivander discusses the wands? The knockturn alley face could just be a nod to CoS.

Yea honestly, self-promotion should be banned. It's not cute and in all seriousness turns me off from supporting. Good Lego Ideas will hopefully support themselves when we see them and discuss how amazing they are

Oh man you guys scared me with the negativity on this last page. I would feel much worse if I was a big WWW fan (honestly I don't really like the look of WWW with the rest of DA). The alternate face does concern me a bit though about B&B. That's not really DA, and I would rather have a super fleshed out DA than something more akin to the 2011 set. I'm new to being active in the Lego community - do sets like these get exclusive GWP's? Did the micro DA come with the Hogwarts or was it a GWP for all sets above $85?

Do we have any guesses to who is the lead designer for DA D2C? Been watching the old Hogwarts videos and seeing how Justin Ramsden and Crystal Fontan talk about the project is inspiring. Can't wait to see all the passion that's gone into DA.
