Excellent busses man. I love the way those doors open. Keep up the good work!

Not based on any actual Seagrave truck, just the cab was clearly inspired by their older models. I searched to see if anyone had built one of these in this style before but I didn't find a single one. Most Lego Seagraves tend to be more modern trucks. Comments and criticism please. This is my most ambitious fire truck to date, however it's still unfinished. I was just excited to get it posted on here and get some feedback. I apologize that some of the pictures are grainy. My HTC Inspire takes decent pictures for a phone, not great ones. Plus I don't really have a set up for taking pictures. Well, here ya go, hope you enjoy.

Well, considering the condiments(very cute btw, I like the salt and pepper alot) I'm guessing you will be doing a diner or restaurant of some sort next? I'd love to see a car that's even flashier than the one from Town Plan. Something with huge fins and lots of chrome. And then, to be the yin to it's yang, something small like a Nash Metropolitan.

That is insane. I'm almost in disbelief that those are made with legos.

The nose looks more like a 240Z than an AE86. The Toyota has more of a wedge shape. Other than that great job. I saw the 5-wide AE86 on here and while that one is more realistic, it doesn't quite seem to have the playability of this one, and I like that. I've been trying to do something 6-wide and this gave me some inspiration. Thanks!

Yes I had seen that. Great moc. I've never attempted to do a 5 wide. I wouldn't call myself a purist, but I do prefer 4 wide. I'd like to try a 5 wide eventually though. Aside from being blocky, the wheel base on mine needs to be a stud longer and the front overhang a stud shorter. The front axle needs to come forward but that will interfere with the slope of the hood.

V-LV-30B I've tried many times over the years to build a 911. This is the closest I've come so far to being satisfied with it, though that front overhand is a stud too long. Not too sure how I'm going to solve that either. Well anyway, feel free to share your comments and criticisms.

Wow thanks! I'll have to see which pieces I need to BL and which I already have. I can't recall ever even seeing one in person, but I've always loved the Citroen DS. All of your models are great. I'm a Ford guy too so I love that Capri as well.

Thanks LT, I think it looks alot more natural as a closed SUV than as a pickup. Good point on the shovel too, I think I even have a black one somewhere.

L-LF-3C I had purchased this set partly because I liked the 4x4 so much, but once I had it built, it just wasn't doing it for me. Just the other day, I decided to MOD it and I quite like the outcome, simple as it may be.

Awesome 2CV and DS. The DS is for sale? Id be interested in the blue one.

Renault Avantime

Great job, I'm a bug fan of the S2K and this is a great attempt at one. It wouldn't be a stretch to turn one of these into a dodge viper.

My brother is 8 and cant get a sticker on straight to save his life. But that's what I'm here for I guess.

I meant to say star wars fan! Of course I'm a lego fan lol. Uh, it had been a long day.

How do you build the foundation for 7 wide cars? I've wanted to try 5 or 7 stud buy I don't k ow where to start.

Good review LT. Interesting to see that the rear end design of the police car is almost the same as the police car that was included in the first run of spiderman sets. I always liked that car, and I like the fast back look to this one, although I'm still not really a fan of the truck tires on cars. It just doesn't work for me and I think there is a much better solution. But anyway, I almost pulled the trigger on this set myself last week but instead bought an alien invasion set for my brother(which I got to build and am a bit upset I didn't get one for myself as well)

Ahh I figured it was something along those lines. Thanks.

I like that thwy included trash with the recycle truck, but why is there fish on the sidewalk?

As a lego fan I love the stickers

Great firetruck. I just finished a 6 wide of my own but its nowhere near as detailed. On a side note, can someone explain to me what "snot" is?

Thank you everyone. With the yellow one I just wanted to do something I've never done nor seen done before. I have different wheels in mind for it but currently only have 2 so I went with the yellow ones instead. The hot rod was inspired by your Super Blower, L@go. Actually, I guess the other one was inspired by you in a way as well, because you're thread made me want to try this style. I'm not terribly fond of the larger City cars and how they use truck tires.

Hey all, here are two new MOCs I just finished up. I typically don't like to do vehicles in the City style, but I felt that it lent itself well to what I was trying to do, especially after seeing some other MOCs on here. The first is a sort of cross-over vehicle, but it's unlike most crossovers. It has a heavy French influence(think Citroen DS and Renault Avantime), and perhaps a little bit of Audi as well. I got the idea while sifting through pieces and coming across the windscreen I wound up using as the rear glass. I thought it would work well for a fast back type vehicle and was originally planning on doing a sort of muscle car, but I like what I eventually ended up doing instead. I have not thought of a proper name for it yet. The body is streamlined for better efficiency, the engine would be located in the rear of he vehicle, and AWD is standard. I think it would look at home the French Alps. The second is more self explanatory. It's a fairly basic 1930's Hot Rod. I really like the greenhouse and slope of the trunk. I hope you all enjoy. I'm looking forward to comments and criticism. I apologize for the poor quality of some of these pictures. The perils of using a camera phone.

I love the pipes and ladder on the roof, they give an instant clue as to what the van is and they remind me of all the Sprinter vans at work. Nice work, LT!

Great fire truck! I've been trying to do a similar mod to my firetruck and this really inspired me.
